i've officially gone crazy...
so i just got out of the shower and went to move my turtle's cage because i wanted to get something behind the table, and i saw she wasn't moving.. i got all upset and tried desperately to make her move, but she didn't... so i flip out and check on the hamster, and she's not moving either. both are dead  ...
so i run upstairs and get my guy friend, and after the whole 2nd floor (all guys) come out to talk to me about the recent deaths, we go downstairs to get rid of the dead bodies. as soon as craig touches the cage they start moving around.. when he leaves they play dead again.. what the hell!! lol i've officially gone crazy. lets call it stress from school  |
That's okay, honey. My Betta fish are chasing their tails. WTF!
|
hehe i have two betta fish too.. alpha is the girl (alpha the beta fish, how cute, huh? hehe) and the other is trooper...
they don't chase their tails though... gotta love weird pets :) |
I have a red one named Rabbit and a blue one named Turtle.
|
lol! that is adorable :)

Oh how sad! Maybe it's the full moon making them play dead! I know I certainly would have gone crazy had I seen my two precious pets dead!
|
I think they talked to each other and planned to scare you! :p
Saturday night my puppy was very sad and depressed. If you know my dog, you know that she is super hyper and jumps all around. Saturday night she wouldn't even jump onto the sofa; I had to lift her up. I thought she was sick or something, but on Sunday she was back to her hyper self. My parents went out of town Friday - Sunday and my mom says that my pup was in a state of depression because she missed my mom. Whatever! My pup loves me the most and I was here! :p |
I want pets. :( I can't have a puppy because its too dangerous/expensive. How cruddy.

KappaTarzan,
I know that hamsters go into a state of hibernation when the temperature drops. Maybe that goes for turtles too? Is your apartment very cold? AggieAXO, where are you? We need our resident GC vet!!! |
Well I have a Yorkshire Terrier and everytime she poops outside she comes up the mat at the door and wipes her feet (she looks hilarious because she is jumping all around on the mat trying to scrape the bottoms of her feet). I dunno man.

my kitten is crazy i swear... he likes to drink out of the toliet. its actually pretty humourous to watch one paw on each side of the seat (he's fallen it twice... and he hates being wet) he also likes to sleep in the sink. crazy cat...

My two parakeets are crackheads, they like to hang upside in the cage like they're bats or something.
They're too lazy to dig their little beaks more than a cm down into the food pan, making me have to shake food from the bottom to the top. |

hmmm hibernation is perhaps an option..
yes it kind of cold in here, but not too bad. about 60-62... they did it again today so i believe hibernation :) |
My cats are sooo weird, they like to sleep on top of the refridgerator, and when they were kittens, if you would flush the toliet, they would jump up and lean in, and watch it flush, and try to bat at it with their paws. One of my cats likes to get in the ceiling in our basement (it's a drop ceiling and he can get in the rafters or something by the stairs) it takes forever to get him out because he likes to sleep up there.

I had a hampster named Monkey. I swear he would hang upside down from the top of his cage and swing to the next bar. Hence the name of Monkey. Also he was crafty. Twice he got out of the cage. How we found him the 1st time was my dad was on the toilet and saw the brownish-golden furry thing run across the door. My dad caught him. The second time he got out, we found him the food pantry. He was missin for a day or two.
Since I live on a farm, you get all type of animals. We've had sheep, ducks, geese, goats, dogs, cats, Monkey the hampster, had a wild turtle (found the turtle on the road, picked him up, brought him home, left him alone for like 10 minutes, came back, and he was gone) oh and Petey the abandoned baby bird. He was so cute. I feed him and was teachin him to fly but he died. The best thing about the farm was the baby lambs, they r soooo cute. And when we had tripletts, we had to bottle feed one of them. I loved bottle feeding them. They would run up to you and nudge ur knees and suck on ur fingers. As u bottle feed them, u would tickle their tail, so they would eat more. I miss doing that too. |
