I went to school with her!!! I'm so happy for her. And that fundraising thing "Send Frenchie to the American Idol" fund sounds like something us Howard folks will do :D

But for real, did they pay some people to come on and sound that bad? :( I mean, they really don't beleive they can sing, right? That's why you'll never catch Yasava on American idol, making an a** of herself cuz she know she can't sing.

No doubt. I'm pretty sure that they purposely hired some non-singing people for entertainment value.

No I believe there are people like yo boy Cedric that just went off the air who really think they can sing and travel as far as they can and still look like an azzzzzz.

What is the deal with people who sing like wounded oxen and have the AUDACITY to disagree when Simon or Randy tells them they suck?!?

And whoever these people CALL their friends, they are NOT right for letting them go on this show. People: be a good friend. If you KNOW your peeps cannot sing, don't let them spend hours in line waiting to be humiliated! LOL

Frenchie was off the chain! For REAL! I have heard people sing that song a million times and they can't do it like the original, but FRENCHIE is pretty damn close! GO GIRL!!

I don't think any of those people were fake - some folks just have a)high self esteem and/or b)coping mechanisms that allow them to maintain false images of themselves - even in the face of "adversity" (i.e. never making it past any auditions).

Frenchie was the bomb!!

I felt bad for Cedie..I hope he made it home ok (but why would you travel to an audition and not have a round trip ticket? Even if he had won he wouldn't have gone straight to Hollywood??)

@ Eclipse - I thought that was hysterical when they showed leaves changing, the sun setting and the baby making faces while ole girl mangled that song (she was singing the song in an exaggerated slow tempo - felt as if seasons was changing then the tv read my mind and went there....classic AI).

Tone deafness is a serious ailment...go to any karaoke bar and listen...I swear my cousin calls every dog in a 10 block radius everytime she sings :rolleyes: but because she has such great stage presence they keep calling her back for more - gassing her head up ridiculously :eek: ! (I said something once..was called a hater...so you know what..go on ahead and embarass yourself :p !)

Alright just had to throw my $.02 in. Frenchie can BLOW!!!:D I really hope she gets far in the competition.

The two funniest people to me were the white stepper (because I didn't hear him sing at all, or maybe I missed that:confused: ) and Nathan. When he told Paula that she was played I was dying!!! Because if you really think about it, she IS!!:o

Tomorrow should be just as funny!

I'm with everyone else in that I hope Frenchie goes as far as possible. Nathan told Paula, Randy, and Simon exactly what was going through my head!

One thing I don't understand is how these people think they can actually sing?!?!?!:o I'm almost embarassed for them! And did y'all see how some were begging for one more chance...as if that would make a difference.

:mad: that the guy in the black shirt (don't remember his name - he may have been the one who wouldn't go home) WOKE ME UP OUT OF MY PEACEFUL SLUMBER with his hollering. :mad: I am a very heavy sleeper, so it's nothing for me to be passed out with the t.v. on. i was good-n-sleep ---> and that mofo wants to start hollering? did he think that was singing? :mad:

and the young lady right after him who sang "save the best for last"... i had NO idea what it was when she started off with the oooo-oh-ooooh oh oooo-oh-ooooh. is that how vanessa sings it? cause i don't remember none of that in my favorite song. :mad:

and one more thing, the young lady who had 27 of her friends and family in the lobby... i am all for support and what not, but i would be soooooooo embarrased if i was cut from the audition. my peeps wouldn't even know i tried out until the show aired, even if i made it past the first round. ;)

How come no one mentioned the twins who auditioned together? I heard them while I was heating up dinner and swore that it was a group of about 3 or 4 ladies. I said to myself, "Are they auditioning groups too?" They had it going on with the vocals. I'm glad that both of them get the chance @ Hollywood.

Yeah girl, she was about the best last night. Me and my roommate was like "Go Frenchie, go Frenchie!" She looks like her name should be Frenchie too.:)

ol' boy who wouldn't leave had me crying! when that clown came back wanting a second audition because the first was practice, i bought died laughing. and telling people, "i'll see you in hollywood!!??" CRA-ZEE

i felt bad for the yellow-suit. he was so crunk about his audition that he came in singing "are you ready?" i really expected great things...but the po' baby was crying. aww...

the mariah wannabe had me laughing too. the fact that she did some scales to warm up, right before doo-dooing on that song she sang really tripped me out

and let's not forget the guy that simon said was the worst singer in ny. taking that man out on the streets of new york and having random people out-sing was just plain wrong...but it sure was funny

and you see them trying to start some drama between those two girls about the boyfriend. i'm sure they will play on that since both of them made it.

now, were ya'll paying attention when they were flashing scenes from some of the contestants in austin? well, there was this short, Hispanic (i think) guy who was singing in a white shirt. i was talking with one of the teachers at the school i work out and she said that dude looked like doby from harry potter 2. i literally laughed so hard my stomach hurt!! do ya'll know who i'm talking about when i say doby?? i'm still laughing now!!! DOBY??!! now that's funny.

I was dying last night.

The white stepper!? Was the chile confused about the requirements for American Idol.!

Poor Cedric. I felt bad for him and all, but nobody told you to go from Kansas to Texas without a way home.

Nathaniel was hilarious. I had seen a preview of that drama on E! Saturday. They cut out some of what he said. He told them that they want to make people cry for ratings. Then he was like I 'll help you get your ratings. That is when he started to let the "insults" fly.

What about the black girl in Miami that was singing with an accent. My sister and I are still trying to figure out what in the world she was singing.

What about Simon's comments about how pretty some of the girls were. If my child was on the show I would tell them to watch out for his perverted looking and sounding behind. All he cares about is looks. That girl Christina Christian from last season was pretty, but she didn't sound all that good. He was always giving her praise. He's a chester.

Last night on AI was funny!!! I laughed until my stomach hurt. Ooooh. Cedric was funny, but I felt really bad for him. Ok...I told myself that I would swear off all these reality tv shows and all those star searches and american idol shows...BUT when i was watching tv and I saw the commercial with the white feminine dude that was stepping.........LOLOLOLOL I bout died. Aside from that fact that he was SO white and SO feminine, and doing what he was doing....did anyone catch the VERY feminine finger snap and the "hhhhhheyy" he put on the end of his routine??......now THAT was some good stuff...:D

I am really trippin' off of these people who truly believe within their heart of hearts that they can sing!!! Did you see that one girl who begged and begged and begged for a second chance and then just started singing again?! No means NO!
And "Charm" with the different colored hair...scared the crap out of me.
I really felt bad for that girl who got sick she was so nervous and then the judges crushed her.:(

I wish Paula would just be real and say what she feels other than looking funny in the camera and saying she's "speechless."

Ok, the guy Cedric (from the first night) lives in the same city as I do. He was on the radio this morning talking about how Randy and Simon were "hatin'" on his yellow suit, which is why they didn't vote for him. He has even started a petition for another audition. :rolleyes:

There was only one person with talent last night and that was the very first girl that performed. I think she was from Memphis and her name was something like Euqotia (sp) or something....

Honeykiss 1974 I feel ya about the Mary J Blige girl. I love Mary's music and it hurt my heart to see her perform my girl's song like that.

I guess they saved the best for last (THE SOUTH) They didn't really show that many previews of horrible people from Nashville and Atlanta.

The boxer girl was pitiful, but I felt like they were trying to exploit her. I just wanted to tell her, "Hey everyone's got a sad story. Get off the screen."
