yeah, not the worst day ever, but a stinky one nonetheless...

walked to cable office from work to pay bill this morning, its about 3/4 of a mile. its 85 out. i was sweating.

my shoe broke.

a bug flew into my mouth and stung my tongue.

got notice from parking ticket people that they have no record of me paying tickets in 98-99. I KNOW i paid them, but i don't have record either and ii am certainly NOT giving them $700 more.

i thought my feeling harrassed was hormonal. LOL

Yup, I thought I was the only one having a bad day. I studied for hours and hours for my microeconomics exam and still don't think I did well.

Hope y'all are having better days.

My day wasn't exceptional, but it wasn't bad. It was just a day.

well zntke mine was good, but that's cuz all i did today was take my truck to the shop and then come home and sleep all day.

Aw, Kappa and amycat, and everyone else who's had a bad day, that really stinks, i hope your tomorrows are all better.

See Kappa, if we were in the Texas wing, i'd welcome you at the door with an ice cold margarita and tell ya to drink some of your troulbes away. That and i'd give ya a big hug. :D

Nope, I did, too! Any day that nothing major goes wrong is considered a good day. :) But today I had some reasons to be happy--I just got paid, my birthday is Saturday, and I get to see my boyfriend this weekend, too!

I had a decent day once my annoying coworker got the @#$* out of my face... :mad:

I had an okay day... nothing too bad - besides the fact that Im sick of boys.

What happened?

My day was okay! Not great but not bad. I'm really concerned about bills and crap. I'm also trying to bust my a$$ at work so I can get a great commission check next month. If we make goal and I sell 21000 I'll get something like 900.00?!?! That would help a lot!

Just thinking about sad things... thanks for the concern though!

My sister's friend just got engaged. A few weeks later, she was told that she might have lymphoma, and then she was told that she doesn't have cancer. Things were great, terrible, and now great again. As long as you have your health, nothing else matters. :)

but really-- worst day today.. it is still raining out, i woke up late for an exam, i broke my cell phone (my only form of outside communication around here), my car decided today was a good day to stop running well (what the hell. it's new.), my hamster DIED, my best friend's hedgehog bit her and made her bleed, i had HOURS of homework to do, and my cable AND INTERNET went out.

thankfully it is (finally) bedtime now... growl...

Earlier today my biological sister hands me the phone and says, "Here, it's an Alpha Phi. You don't know her." I was a bit confused about that but figured it may have to do with the alumnae chapter I am getting together here.

Well, turns out it was an Alpha Phi who just moved to Corpus Christi and was looking for sisters in the area. She received my information from HQ. She is a Naval pilot and will only be here for four months for training. Although she won't be able to be a permanent member of our alumnae association, she is very enthusiastic about helping start the chapter.

She and I are meeting for drinks tomorrow evening. I can't wait! http://www.plauder-smilies.de/jump.gif

Mine bad day has turned into worst week ever...
I-week, interviews for new EC, too much work due all at once, social relationship issues....blah blah blah

I'm having the worst ever day today. :(

I've been interviewing with a company - the job would be an ideal way to get back into my field. They want 3 references... I gave them 3 stellar references from my last job. But they want someone from my job prior to that, and everyone I know who would give me a good reference, has left that company, and I don't have contact info for them. I'm afraid I'm going to lose this job if I don't come up with someone, or if I come up with someone who gives me a half-hearted reference. :( :( :(

well my day just got worse... hell so did my semester.

my car got broken into sometime last night. my CD player and about 40 CDs were stolen. ANd my passenger side window is shattered and the lock has been jimmied. THank god I was going home to bay area today.

ChideltJen- so sorry hun :( :( :( that happened to me FIVE times last year.. hope they catch the jerks :(

FIve TIMES Kappa...good lord??? I am not too concerned about it now. I can get my window fixed for less than $200 and about 80% of the CDs in there were copies/mixes/burns. BUT they stole all of my original copies of DMB and Depeche Mode CDs. ERRRRRR! :mad:

It's really kinda funny... before my car was broken into, I had asked my mom for a new car stereo for Christmas... guess that will be on the top of my list. ;)

My evening was crappy. Went to dinner with boyfriend, who is shopping for a new car. Last week he started looking at engagement rings. Yeah, both big expensive purchases. So the "2 to 6 months" for the engagement has been pushed to "6 months" I guess I'm antsy. We've been together 5 years. I want to get this show on the road!

We got in a fight at dinner, my eggplant parmesan tasted like vomit and the eggplant pieces were too hard to eat. We fought ALL evening. And we probably won't get a chance to see each other until next Friday. :(

Oh, and I have a Saturday review session tomorrow for my least favorite class. The teacher refused to do it any other time. Asshole.
