What does everyone want for Christmas? I'm trying to get some ideas to finish up everyone on my list.

I have no idea yet, my mom keeps asking me, and I'm like I dunno, and she goes, you're not going to get anything if you don't tell me :eek: ... so I'm thinking I need to come up with a list :cool:

I want to go skiing but it remains to be seen if I can get off of work for long enough for anything meaningful.

My husband and I are planning on getting an Xbox, some games for it, and possibly some china, as a joint birthday/Chanukah gift. (Our birthdays are both right around Chanukah.)

The trouble with being Jewish - fewer shopping days. The advantage is that we get our gifts earlier ;)

I'm asking for a few of the usual: dvds, CDs, and gift certificates to my favorite stores. My mom has pretty much given up trying to buy clothes for me -- I never end up liking them! But she means well. And I know some people think gift certificates are tacky but I love them! I"m excited to get them, excited to spend them, and then excited about whatever I get.

This year I'm definitely asking for two dvds in particular: Monsoon Wedding and Charlie's Angels. I can't believe I didn't get Charlie's Angels when it first came out on dvd. I loved it! I'm already looking forward to seeing Charlie's Angels 2 this summer.

My christmas list includes a few dvd's, a couple of books, gift certificates to Ann Taylor or Banana Republic (for nice new work clothes.)

In a fantasy world, I want a great big check to pay off my student loans! Might as well wish for world peace and food for all the starving children while I'm at it.

i'm getting an intersession (winter break) class for xmas :rolleyes: they are like $700 though...

sounds exactly like my mom...

I want a Coach purse and wallet, and this awesome pair of boots from Nine West. Also, I want a lavaliere with my birthstone at the top of it.

I want:

- A 34" Sony XBR flat-screen, wide-screen HDTV
- A microwave
- Gift certificates for clothes, CDs and DVDs
- Decorations (candles, mirrors, artwork)
- "Chance" by Chanel
- A Coach crusher hat
- Lots of Burberry things
- New brown boots (short and knee)
- A bunch of other stuff

I don't know what I'll get though because I don't usually tell people what I want... I don't like to seem greedy. My parents always make me go shopping and pick stuff out with them... then they wrap it up and I pretend to be surprised.

I reall don't know what I want, but I just wanted to say that Christmas is my FAVORITE holiday of the year!! :)

I have no idea what I want from my mom for Christmas.

I do know what I want from my boy - but I don't think I'll be getting it that soon - I just hope he gets what I tried on the other day - 1.5 ct round brilliant cut diamond with a platinum 6 prong setting :D

Oh, now THAT sounds like somthing that I'd like... I lost my silver one.. somewhere, but I still have my gold one. Which is all good, I alternate wearing gold and silver.

I could go for the usual clothes... a couple books maybe... oh and some stuff for my computer. However, I did just buy a scanner, so I don't know what else I want.

OH, I want a digital camera, I'm a picture fiend. It's odd, last year for christmas I asked for a digital camera and an MP3 player...
my oldest brother, Andy, got the camera, and my other old brother Erik got the MP3 player... go figure! :mad:

I want a new pair of boots, and Stila's "Creme Bouquet" perfume, I also like "J'Adore" by Christian Dior, my suitemate has it, and I love it. Really really need a new cell phone because mine is dying, and I need a coat but I doubt I'll get that if I want new boots and perfume, too.

*sigh* I don't know what I want. Really I just need money to pay off things that I've already got!!!

but my final list came down to this:

a new car stereo
2 CDs (Jimmy Eat World's Clarity and The Best of Fleetwood Mac)
some new winter clothes cuz sacramento is cold in the winter... or fall :confused: ADPi Ally can back me up on that one. :D

if my parents had the money... i would probably get a digital camera and an epson 1280 printer. (what can i say... i am a design major)

• New Watch
• some CD's (Sebadoh, The White Stripes, Phish, OK Go)
• Beta Sweatshirt
• Gift Certificates to Hollister, or the Post and Nickle

I want a Playstation2 and the Kingdom Hearts game. That game is fantastic and I am now officially hooked. Other than that, I really need some money-overdue bills are piling up:(
