Best Alcohol
 

Okay, I'm getting trashed/sh*tfaced/plastered tonight and I'm wondering what's the best tasting to get? :) See, last time I got drunk was back in May (yes, I -am- a college student and dating a frater...yes..I know you're surprised) and had Smirnoff Ice, Bud Ice, and those Jack Daniels fruity type drinks. But I want something thing different.
On my shopping list is:
1. Smirnoff Ice - for my 2 buds
2. have no idea
3. have no idea

So, any suggestions would be nice :) :) Oh, and no beer, hehe

Margaritas...

1 part tequila, a dash of triple sec and 2 parts margarita mix. Pour over crushed ice. Salt is nice to have around the top of the glass but not necessary.

Rum! Mmmmmm...

Southern Comfort

Cider! My favorite is Woodchuck. I HATE beer, but with cider I can feel like I'm drinking beer but actually like what I'm drinking :)

Ketel One vodka with just about anything.

Amaretto Sours if you want a SUPER-GIRLY drink.

Jaeger... with Red Bull if you don't like the flavor.

Cider is good... Woodchuck or Hornsby.

Bacardi Limon or Stoli Razz with Pink Lemondade...YUM!!!!
Amaretto and Midori sours are really good too...but sweet

MIDORI SOURS ARE SO GOOD!! maybe if you have time, make jello shots with fruity flavored jello and vodka? those always get me trashed...
also, WINE- arbor mist strawberry white zinfandel and blackberry merlot freaking rule, so yummy :)

How about a vodka tonic made with Absolut Citron or another citrusy vodka? It is more of a summery refreshing drink, but it's sooo good :)

Margarita:

-1 1/2 oz Tequila (I suggest Jose Cuervo Anejo, it's about $35/bottle though . . . that's what i'm pre-gaming for formal with)
-1 oz Triple-Sec (don't use too much)
-1 1/2 oz Lime Juice (or marg mix, same thing)

Squeeze some fresh lime in, throw it on the rocks w/ salt . . . it's FAAAAN-tastic

If your going to a bar, try kamakazis shots, purple hooters shoots, or sex on the beach. oh definately long island ice teas, those can f*ck you up if u have lots.
If ur buying, vodka is good, try mixing it with orange soda.

I can't tell the difference between Montezuma and anything else:D

I recommend going cheap if all you want to do is get your drunk on... But that's just me.

About half and half though.. Margarita mix I think has more in it than lime juice. I like the Jose Cuervo kind.

Montezuma is about $15.00 per liter.

if you want inexpensive with good taste get Boone's Farm (it takes really good) Arbor Mist, or Mad Dog. all three are great!

mad dog is sooo gross!!!! arbor mist is awesome, and boone's isn't bad... the snowflower or whatever is pretty good

Martinis are my drink of choice. But if you want to make kamikazes...those are good too. half vodka, half sweet & sour mixer, and a dash of triple sec.....yummay!

A personal favorite of my girlfriend is straight Amaretto. You can also use it to make Amaretto Sours or add coke and you have cherry coke that will get you drunk.
My personal favorites are Southern Comfort, Wiskey Sours(a little sissy but not when I make them), and 151 shots, in large quantities.

PS Amaretto di Amore has a 3 dollar rebate and only cost 12 dollars so you can get a bottle for 9 bucks...

Hell, you cuold carry and drink a 16 gal. keg by your self!!!!!:D ;)

Ah my poor man . . . try the good stuff, you'll love it. I've done the Montezuma (college, right) - I'd say at least do Cuervo or Sauza, spend the extra 4 or 5 bucks.

Always half-and-half - the margarita is based on the lime cancelling out the tequila. Most mixes throw in some sugar etc - good ones are still primarily based on lime juice though, including the cuervo mix. the "real" margarita is just lime juice, but i think most of us will prefer the mix

ahhhhhhhh, Peachtree is good.. but what happened to a good ole' Rum 'n Coke!! Then again I don't mind just hanging out drinking a beer... whatever's clever. I'd have to say I like it all.. Blasphemy!!! :D Martinis are my drink of choice... Tanqueray or Beefeater, very dry, straight up with a twist. My dad taught me how to make them when I was 14. (He wouldn't let me drink them, but I mixed them.) The gin must be cold, and you must use very little vermouth... I keep a bottle of gin in the freezer, and a little spritzer of vermouth in the fridge.
