I feel asleep around 11pm. When Mr. KDR came to bed at 2am, his movement in the room, albeit quiet, woke me up. Now, I'm awaaaaake and on the couch. Hopefully, I'll fall back asleep soon.

Sleepless in Memphis

My best friend from grad school (who also happens to be an SAI) is in town and we went to see The Imitation Game. It was quite good - I recommend it.

Because I have a lot of junk on my mind and I wish I could play my guitar, but my family's sleeping.

^^^When I can't sleep, I usually play my keyboard but I don't feel like pulling it out right now.

My mind is too full to sleep. I am thinking all the thoughts tonight.

Argh. It's past 2 am and I can't sleep. Hubby and daughter are blissfully in dreamland upstairs and I'm on the laptop with one of our cats lounging next to me.

Just finished up some bot mitigation work on GC. Now going to go outside for a few to see if I can catch a glimpse of any Perseid meteors before going to sleep.

Nearby thunderstorms woke me up, and are keeping me awake with all their noise.

I'm sorry, I 100% have been there.

I’m supposed to be going to overnights at work…right now I’m kinda in between…I did 2 overnights this weekend and now my sleep schedule is messed up :( however, I’m on afternoons all week.

I just want to transfer and be done with it.

I’m up because I took an extra long nap because I was so tired Tuesday. Plus, I got up to get a drink of water. And then, my schedule is super light today. I’m going home early today, lol.

I hope you didn't jinx it by saying that.

Kinda, sorta. I only ended up leaving like ten minutes early, lol. But I’m so glad it wasn’t like Tuesday. I was so tired.
