I usually could care less about baseball.. But wouldn't it be nice to see the Twins pull it off? I mean they were almost contracted weren't they? On the downside I don't think there's much of a chance the players from that team will remain there next year after this year's performance.

I wanna see the Giants and the Angels go to the world series, and then see my Giants win! :)

I could definitely be wrong though, especially with the way Matt Morris pitched tonight.

I'm a life long Cards fan, but if they don't change something after the last two nights of play, it'll be the Giants in the Series. Damn, and we were SO close this year!

I am loving the fact that the two wild card teams are in the series this year, but sorry Anaheim, it's a GIANT year!!! :D :D

I would like to see the Angels win because its their first but I think the Giants will dominate.

I'm so excited to see the Giants in the series! And it would have been great to see the Twins there too -- but even getting as far as they got was awesome to watch.

Angels in 6, without a doubt - the DH will once again decide a series, and the Angels are hot as they come going into this series. Plus, I like their bullpen a ton more than any time rolling out, say, Scottie Eyre twice or thrice . . . *puke*

Giants 4 to 2. They do have Mr. Bonds...

I think the Angels did a great job this season, but the Giants are gonna take the World Series... The Giants have gone just as long (actually longer) than the Angels without winning a world series... lol, plus the giants have made it to the playoffs so many times- they deserve to finally have be San Francisco World Champions (Giants have never won a world series in S.F., right?)

Since my A's didn't win, I have to go with the Angels. 1st-they beat the Yankees. whom i dislike. 2nd-I don't like the Giants, so I don't want them to win. 3rd. The Angels never been to the playoffs. 4th-they've had a great season. I think the Angels will win, they have the heart, strength, and will to win. Plus Barry Bonds is Mr. Choketober, he always blows it during a critical time. ie when he played with the Pirates and with the Giants too. GO ANGELS!!!!!!

I totally respect your opinion, and if the Giants didn't make the Series, I would root for the Angels too. They have had an amazing season, but so have the Giants. They peak at exactly the right times. I think Barry broke his curse by hitting 4 home runs, a triple, and having 10 RBIs this postseason. Mr. Choketober no more! Did you watch the last game? He tied the game with one swing! That was coming through for his team at a critical time, not choking!

Your beloved A's won a World Series already, let the boys from across the bay have their turn. This team is full of veterans who are going to their first series. they deserve to win and I truly believe it is their year. I predict they will win in 6 games. Angels will be tough, but Giants players have been waiting for this and they are fighters. So, once again, I say:

I'm right there with you Ladyj and GiantsChic..... I was at the game on Monday night and I have never felt excitiment like that... When Lofton steped up to the plate and all those rally rags were flying.....

Well, since my CARDINALS didn't make it to the series as I'd hoped...
I think I'll root for the Giants. Dunno why. I could really care less. But for some reason I think they played very well in the penit (sp?) and deserve to win.

Good point dude - the Giants' D is pretty bad, so they need the pitching to step up a lot, keep the starters on the diamond for longer.

And to whoever posted it earlier - how do you go longer than NEVER winning a world series? I know it hasn't happened in SF yet, but they did win one or two in the day . . .

For the record, the San Francisco Giants have never won the World Series. The New York Giants won in 1905, '21, '22, '33 & '54, but ol' SF has yet to chalk up a win!!!

You better bet this girl will be planted on the bar stool for a week straight!!!!

LilsnakeyK- I am soooo jealous that you got tickets! I tried ALL DAY yesterday and I'm not willing to pay $1000 for seats, so I'm out of luck.

DRau- I'm right there at the bar with you! I'll be at a bar across from Pac Bell Park Saturday with my sisters, so I'll be in the atmosphere at least! :D Maybe we'll be able to peek through the openings by the waterfront!
