Largest Lines What is the largest lines you have ever seen of the blue and white family? What is the largest line you have ever seen or any org? |
I don't know about Sigma but a few years back there was a line of 44 or more at PVAM...I've heard of the Deltas taking a line of close to 200 women in the past... Personally, I tend to like lines of no more than 15...2 me it encourages more unity and creates a tighter bond...but that's jmo! |
I have heard of Delta lines also with 135 give or take initiates, this was in Alabama I think Montevallo |
As far as blue fam, TSU there was a line of 21 Sigmas... Other orgs, my best friend is an AKA and she is 25 out of 52 (Famu) Fancy Z-Phi |
 I was Dean of a line of 21. www.valdosta.edu/pbs |
I was #10 of 37 at Pvamu (Fall 2000) and the Sigma's took over 21 that year. |
adding to my other post........ The Delta's took over 87 that year and the AKA's 54 |
I am proud to say that I am number 18 of the 29 B.L.U. F.E.L.I.N.E.Z. of Lambda Beta Chapter's Spring 02 line at Jackson State University!!! |
In the midwest the largest line I've seen for Zeta is 16 and 16 for Delta. |
Mone money money!!! Ok lets do some Math...I know I my old campus the cost of joining two orgs was between $1000 and $1200 now you times that 54 to 100 that equals anywhere between $54,000-$120,000 that's one hell of a pot! I personally am cool as hell with all sista's of Z-Phi-B like our sisters of S Phi S ya'll don't take no B.S. Keep it realll! :D |
hmmmm origanally posted by FanCy: As far as blue fam, TSU there was a line of 21 Sigmas... Other orgs, my best friend is an AKA and she is 25 out of 52 (FAMU) I'm a Zeta at TSU.....how long ago was their line supposedly that big....i've never heard of it?? |
I'm from Gamma Epsilon (Alabama A&M University) our biggest line was 22 (Spring 85, Spring 90). However while I was in school the AKA's had lines of 114,84, and 78 and the Kappas got suspended twice and when they came back on the yard they had lines of 44 and 32 |
 I was # 40 of a line of 44, which is largest P R E T T Y line that my school has ever had.:D |
What about 1 out of 1?....That was me all by my lonesome. Lonesome Dove |

I missed the sisterly bond you attain when there is a line but I also focused more on learning all I could. It turned out fine. Lonesome Dove Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, INC. Delta Epsilon Zeta Chapter Fall '02 |

i know at a school in alabama, SIGMA GAMMA RHO line of 23, but i have have also heard of lines of 44 up north(i think it was in deleware), way back in the day as well. i have seen more than a few schools crossing 100+ deltas and AKAs. |
one more thing-- what is the point of having four hundred members cross when the only number that really matters is #3??? (tre club always and forever!) we all know that 3 is the number the house was built on! |
"Pink Panther40 I was # 40 of a line of 44, which is largest P R E T T Y line that my school has ever had. " Pink Panther I am a 40 as well Beta Alpha (FAMU) Anyways. . . I have heard of lines as small 5 to lines as big as 125 (these are from all over the U.S.) At FAMU I think the biggest line I saw while I was there were the Deltas Fall 96 (50) |

University of Montevallo This was in the late '90's my cousin went there, he showed me the coming out show for all the new members and there were a lot of Deltas..at least 100 |
At Hampton University (Hampton, VA) the AKA's crossed a line of 65 (I think that was either 2000 or 2001...can't remember exactly). |
At Grambling the DST line of Spring 02 had 78 and their grad had 20 (give or take 2). Flawless Poodle Fall 2K1 #4 Tail Poodle SIGMA GAMMA RHO SORORITY, INC. |

I am #52 of 57, the line before me was 77! The Deltas were known for having large lines at my school I remember they had 109 and I think like a line of 105. My school put a cap on a maximum line of 50 after my line, so I will be the last #52 eva!!!:D |

The largest blue & White line I've seen was 27 (zeta) and 21 (sigma). I think I'd prefer to deal w/ lines of no more than 15 or 16...20 is stretching it. I agree that it can take away from the bonding experience... Just my opinion. Be blessed, y'all... |
Largest that I have ever seen was down south with AKAs and Deltas. AKAs at one school crossed 81 and Deltas at another crossed one hundred and (I think) twelve...it was over 100 I know that for sure...I think I stopped counting for a minute and just estimated...:D |
This is an old thread but just I would post. At Grambling AKA crossed 200 in Spring 98 (They had been suspended for a couple of years so that was the first line back). Zeta: Spring 97-23(Grambling) Spring 98-20(Grambling) |

200 or not. It was alot. I just remember my friend that crossed that semester saying it was 201 and that they sat a record for the largest line. Regardless I there for the probate and they represented hard for AKA. I still see Alpha Theta and Psi Beta (love my chapter :D ) are still representing at GSU. Much love to both! |

biggest lines @HU ( at least during my tenure [1996-present] no I'm not still in school I just know what goes on there) AFA-14? AKA-137 KAY-14 (+) WYF-14:confused: DSQ- 54 in '83, 52 in '00<--personal knowledge FBS- 6 or 7 (Intense help me out) ZFB- 12 or 14 SGR- 8 IFQ- I have no idea cuz you never see them all but on the subject of large lines, I really don't see the point. I know I probably wouldn't be talking as a Delta right now if my line hadn't been big but I stand by my point. What do you need with 100+, 90+, hell, 50+ people who are going to graduate in a couple of months? Ok, I apologize. I know you all like to keep on topic. |
