fraternity rush event and tshirt ideas
 

heres my problem, im looking for cool events to do (ie, casino, vegas wedding night) any ideas might help, also im looking for you to pull some dirty rush shirts out, ive already got one good meaning one just looking for an off the wall one. (last years said fedEX, handling box since 1855) stuff like that. I don't care if its dirty or not. Im posting this here instead of the rush page casue more people look and respond to this page. late

Well if your looking for a dirty one i saw one that had the john deer symbol on the front with Sigma Chi written out and on the back it had a tractor and it said Pulling Ho's since 1855.
Ours this spring said Sigma CHi isn't the best fraterinty, just the only one that matters.

We had a few really dirty shirts around our house. One of them had two clowns engaging in sexual relations and then a circle with a slash through it. It stood for no f***ing clowns. Some of our less foul shirts had slogans that said "we don't have little sis's because we are having too much fun with yours." Another had a pic with a half naked girl and it said, "want to be on top?" My favorite was for a cajun crawfish mixer. It said, "suck the head, eat the tail." Realize that we do not wear these to class or anything. They are just for fun.

Hey we have two really popular ones, except the other organizations on campus kinda hate them, but the other chapters love them:

Back: write the whole alpahabet out (greek alphabet) highlight your letters and at the bottom write: Zeta Psi. The only greek you need to know.

Yeah, we are brainstorming for more ones in the future, we'll let you know if we come up with more, we also maybe marketing and sellling our designs, let me know if this si something people may be intested in.

I go to the College of Charleston, home of the Alpha chapter of Pi Kappa Phi. The other thing you must understand about Charleston, SC is that the Civil War is far from over! Southern pride is alive and well. (I think it's all kinda silly, but of course I am originally from Boston.) The first battle of the Civil War was in Charleston Harbor. OK, now that the background for the shirt is out of the way, it said: "The Civil War was the second most important thing to start in Charleston."

Or a baby-tee shirt for the girls from your Fraternity Boys that has a Playboy bunny symbol on the front with your letters specifically (sp?) placed on the bow tie-- Sigma Nu did that one at my school and the girls loved it. It was Real eyecatching to the boys when a girl walked by wearing it.

Here's some good ones from UCF:
SAE had one that said "Not everyone can be an SAE. Some people have to sit on the curb and clap as we walk by."

ZTA's rush shirt said: "If you're wondering why we're so happy just think about why you're not."

Kappa Sig had this idea but they didn't go through with it because no girl would be willing to wear it. ;) They have an annual party called "Ship Wreck". The shirt has a picture of a sinking ship and the slogan says, "She's going down and we're all getting off."

haha - solid . . . one I wanted to do was "So . . . what if we threw a party, and EVERYONE came?" - only good for large, annual events.

For something a little less racy (my schools conservative)

Phi Gamma Delta:

one of the fraternities at my school had a shirt that on the front it had a picture of "dick" (that kid from 1st grade reading books) and it said, "see dick go to college" "see dick rush a fraternity" "see dick join XYZ" and on the back it said... "girls like dick"

i just thought it was funny.

KD: Last year we were intramural champs and our new IM shirts say "Doesn't it feel good to be on top?"

Sigma Nu: Their rush shirts this year said "Every girl dreams about getting a knight off."

Our homecoming team (KD, TKE, SN) has a heaven and hell theme, and our shirts say "If you're not a Bull, go to Hell."

My apologies to University of Houston who will be getting thier butts kicked this weekend by the Bulls at our Homecoming football game!

it has a double meaning...our (unofficial) mascot is the duck and it shows it laying eggs. we're using it as our spring rush shirt because our chapter was founded, oh, 4 days ago.

The SAE's here just had there hayride recently and there shirts were kinda cute. It said: If you don't get on you can't get off. Something along those lines. :)

Im assuming youre Zeta at UCF... I know we (DU) have quite a few pretty risque shirts like that. At least last semester we did. Glad to see some more Greeks from UCF around.

The SAE's at my school have two shirts that are out there:

1: "If you weren't there, than you weren't invited...Bid Day..."

2: (now this one is really iffy): "My girlfriend said that if I joined SAE she'd dump me... I'll miss the b***ch"

I'd be careful about using the b word if you wanna stay in one piece though (it didn't go over well here);)

I think it was a rush flyer, not t-shirts, but a chapter on campus had a picture of Buzz Lightyear and Woody the cowboy from Toy Story with "Buzz" and "Woody" written underneath the pictures and then Rush XYZ - guaranteed to get at least one (or something to that effect - I don't remember exactly) It was amusing....I guess

ours this year said:

for fall: our letters on the front (pi lambda phi) and on the back a guy carrying a girl over his shoulder with a quote that said "remember our names....you'll be screaming it later"

for spring: our letters on the front again and on the back a guy standing with his hands behind his head and a girl on her knees in front of him and the quote is "finally...a fraternity you can look up to"

The ones we made here at USCS last fall had a b/w guy in a suit and went through these phases. Meet Dick, See Dick think about rush....with a bubble and the KS letters in it, See Dick rush Kappa Sig....picture of a brother shaking his hand, and lastly Girls Love Dick and it has two chicks on each side of the guy. We really stood out last fall with these shirts.

Another ones I have say mowin grass and kickin ass since 1869 and then it has the john deer logo. Another one has a pic of a beaver with a kappa sig hat on and it says the beaver agrees......kappa sig wood tastes best.

We was gonna make a 100 ft slip and slide and have a mixer with ZTA but the weather sucked. We wanted to have a shirt with a girl going down a slip and slide but saying something like girls go down first. For some reason all of the zetas liked the idea.

The first shirt we did when we were a colony had the planters peanut guy on the front and said rush kappa sig, but the back said come party with deeze nuts.

Lambda Chi Alpha had their letters on the front of the shirt and on the back it said "Lambda, the best friends money can buy."

My chapter (FIJI) had FIJI rush on the front of the shirt. On the back we had a picture of the Dukes of Hazard and it said "Good Ol' Boys Since 1848." Below the pic it had our school name (UCSB) and Fall Rush 2002.

One shirt we had for greek week was " If you can't beat us on the field, then beat us off!"

The beta's here a few years ago was funny. At Toledo fraturnties do rush shirts for both guys and also ones for the gals to wear around.

The Girls were pink w/purple letters and said
"F*** me if I'm wrong, but aren't you a beta"

The guys said
"I'm a beta"

Okay so it's lewd, I still think it's funny

One of the things we also started do last semester when I was rush chair was to "chalk the campus." There are designated spots where you can write slogans and such in sidewalk chalk on the walkways. Some of the guys got a little carried away with it... but I had to laugh when I saw it. They had drawn a body outlined in chalk (like at a murder scene) but with a huge smile on the face. Underneath it said: "Another Satisfied Customer, Nobody Party's Like Crow, Rush AXP" or something to that effect. A bit morbid... but funny still.

we've had the john deere one here too except on the back it says getting plowed and pulling hoes since 1899 says rush tke on the front those go fast...


some others are ...don't be a pussy rush tke.

the whole ups thing with ruse tke in the ups crest on the bottom of the front it says,"we have a package for you" and on the back says professional box handlers since 1899.

another cool one it has 3 different pictures first one is a guy with one beer underneath it says GDI, second has a guy with 2 beers says Pledge and the last one has a guy doing a keg stand and says active.

LXA had rush shirts made for girls a couple years back that read, " If I were a guy, I'd rush Lambda Cchi!'

Same for TKE, " If it was up to me, I'd rush T-K-E!"

How's about have the VISA card with your letters or symbols in place and have written under

"XYZ, We're everything, you wanna be"

Visas slogan is We're everywhere you wanna be...
A suggestion. If my sorority were big and bad :) I'd get shirts made like that...its orignal too, I've never seen or heard of one like that being made.

The coolest Sigma Chi Rush shirt I ever saw had
SCcellence written on the front and then a big square, half light blue half yellow with a white cross in the middle. On top it had Baylor University and on the bottom, Fall rush 2003. The shirt was navy. I was a big fan!
