Reese Witherspoon
I always though she was the innocent type agaisnt nudity in a movie but I was shocked to find out she was naked in Twilight. Guess you never can really judge a person. Oh, by the way I am not complaining she got naked just shocked she did.:p

I love her! Not in that sence, but you know what I mean. I think she's a riot! A great actress, down to earth, and a totally sweet gal! I wouldn't rule out a body double though (I haven't seen the movie you're discussing so I couldn't say for sure). Remember, a lot of stars won't go nude but they're look-a-likes will!

Its a mystery. And I did a search it is her first movie. It has quite a few big names in it.

I thought Man in the Moon was her first movie. She is from a very wealthy family, one or both her parents are doctors and I don't think they would have let her go nude.

she is so hot
........i'm blisted |
What's wrong with nudity?
|
Yeah, "Man in the Moon" was her first movie. It came out in 1992.

Why should the fact that her parents are in the health field (her mother's a nursing professor, btw) have anything to do with her being nude in a film? In my experience, parents who are doctors/nurses/etc are somewhat more open with the idea of nudity. Not everyone's a Nervous Nellie, regardless of what they do and how wealthy they are.

yeah!

I like Reese Witherspoon. Check out her filmography. http://us.imdb.com/Name?Witherspoon,+Reese

Well what I meant was that most people that come from debutante backgrounds like Reese don't end up posing nude. Furthermore, coming from a very well educated home that has nothing to gain by their little girl becoming a star would be healthy enough to have taught her that she doesn't need to expose her body to the word in order to seek validation.
And before you go on about how it is fine that she is posing nude and that it is so great then ask yourself would I be fine with my little girl posing nude? Btw, I saw Sweet home this weekend and it was really good! |
I think we can add Fred Savage to that list...or maybe he graduated?
If my "little girl" was over the age of consent or emancipated (as so many young stars are now in order to get around child labour laws), I'd have no problem with it. But, maybe I'm (gasp!) a liberal! |
Well I would think about it.
I would create a mental framework to make a decision. The first priority would be to realize that my daughter is not an extension of myself but her own person (at least if I did my job right). My only real argument in almost any situation is if she is rushing into something that there is no urgency for, or there is immediate and obvious harm. That doesn't include the years later "what if" game. So that takes my sensitivities out of it, and reorients the framework to being about her not me. What kind of evil person makes their hang-ups someone else's problems? That would make me a bad person and highly manipulative. I would just try to make sure she had some good objective advice and information from knowledgable sources that could present her with alternatives. *shrug* But thats just me. Quote:

If Reese was over 18 when she did this movie -- and I'm sure she was, or she wouldn't be naked in it -- then her parents really have no say. It was completely her decision. Maybe her parents weren't thrilled about it, or maybe they didn't have a problem with it, but either way, they really didn't have anything to do with the choice.
