What day was your organization founded.

Delta Sigma Phi: December 10, 1899, City College Of New York.

Alpha Gamma Delta: May 30, 1904, Syracuse University-Syracuse, NY

Kappa Kappa Gamma, October 13, 1870, at Monmouth College, Monmouth, Illinois.

What a great time for this thread, because Alpha Phi was founded on September 30, 1872 at Syracuse University in New York. :)

Edited to add: Oops, I'm getting ahead of myself! We were founded on 9/30, but now celebrate Founders' Day on October 10 as we have since 1904 when the date was changed at Convention to accommodate schools with later starting dates. You can tell I'm just looking for an excuse to celebrate twice! ;)

Alpha Omicron Pi: January 2, 1897 Barnard College at Columbia University New York, New York.

Alpha Xi Delta, April 17, 1893 at Lombard College (now Knox College) Galesburg, Illinois

Alpha Delta Pi, founded May 15, 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia.

Wesleyan Female College also hold the distinction of being the first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women.
Phi Mu was founded at the same school in 1852.

Delta Sigma Pi was founded on November 7, 1907 in the School of Commerce, Accounts & Finance of New York University :D

Alpha Sigma Tau was founded nationally on November 4, 1899 at Eastern Michigan University!

Phi Sigma Kappa was founded March 15, 1873 at Massachusetts Agricultural College (now U. Mass) in Amherst, Massachusetts

Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded in the Tower Room of Ryland Hall at Richmond College on November 1, 1901, in Richmond, Virginia.

Theta Chi
Founded 10 April 1856 in the Old South Barracks, Norwhich University at 9:00 pm

Sigma Nu was OFFICIALLY founded on January 1st 1869... Although it had been operating and organizing beginning in October of 1868.

Alpha Sigma Alpha was founded November 15, 1901 at Longwood College in Farmville, Virginia.

Beta Theta Pi:

At nine o'clock in the evening of the eighth day of the eighth month of the year 1839, eight earnest young men, all students at Miami University, held the first regular meeting of Beta Theta Pi in the Hall of the Union Literary Society, an upper room in the old college building (known as "Old Main.") The eight founders in the order in which their names appear in the minutes were:

That makes us the 6th oldest fraternity in existance, and the 2nd fraternity at Miami University at that time (Alpha Delta Phi - 1832), but the first to be founded there.

Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority,Inc was founded April 11,1997 at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill

Pi Beta Phi, originally founded as I.C Sorosis, April 28, 1867 at Monmouth College, Monmouth, Illinois. In 1888, the name was changed from I.C Sorosis to Pi Beta Phi.

Phi Kappa Psi was founded onFebruary 19, 1852 at Jefferson College in Canonsburg Pennsylvania.

Alpha Epsilon Phi: October 24, 1909, Barnard College, New York

Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity (originally simply the Sinfonia Fraternity) was founded on October 6, 1898, at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. This coming Sunday will mark 104 years of brotherhood!

We celebrate founder's day March 16, the birthday of one of the Immortal Six, Robert Morrison.

Sigma Kappa was founded on November 11, 1874 at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. It's the only organization like it to be founded in that state!

Phi Sigma Sigma was founded on November 26th, 1913 at Hunter College in NYC

TAU BETA SIGMA National honorary sorority for members of the collegiate band (co-ed) was founded on:

March 26, 1946 (Alpha Chapter)
May 4, 1946 (Beta Chapter)

Our founder was from the Beta Chapter at Texas Tech, the founding members couldnt get incorperated in Texas, so they gave permission to the Oklahoma women to become the Alpha, because they wanted the sorority to be national and they needed to be incorperated.

to add to what BSUPhiSig'92 posted. Phi Sigma Kappa merged with Phi Sigma Epsilon in 1985. Phi Sigma Epsilon was founded February 20, 1910 at Kansas State Normal College in Emporia, now Emporia State University. So, in a way we have 2 founders days. Although I'm sure most chapters only really celebrate March 15th.
