Big/Lil sister
 

Well ladies it's about that time again... time to choose your big/lil sis. I am very excited!!! :D We just had our NM and sisters choose their top five last night. Revelation is on Friday. I have a bunch of great ideas for presents for my new little. Keep us here on Greekchat posted on who got who.

Yea...how excited am I for Big/Lil!!! I'm gaining my 4th little and 2 Great Grand Littles!! I'm so old!

I'm getting my first little! Our Big Sis Revealing is this Saturday. We don't find out until the day of. I'm really excited but I'm getting kind of nervous that I won't get everything done by Saturday.

I think the way they've done it before is those that are taking littles find out before but they changed it this semester because they don't want everyone talking about it and the new girls finding out I guess. They want it to be a surprise for everyone. I wish I knew now but I don't really mind.

Big/lil was on Friday and I got an awsome new lil sis named Stephanie. whoo hoo!!

I got my Twin sis! She is a beautiful sophomore named Kristy! I'm so thrilled!

I got my big about two weeks ago. Jackie is the coolest and she was my top choice. Michelle is my granbig and she is the president of our chapter. Jackie is so nice and we had been hanging since early in the semester so its awesome.

Its that time again... big/lil revelation is soon... I thought maybe we could share stories of big/lil this time around. Older sisters tell stories about thier relationship with thier big or little. It will give the new members something to look forward to.
Also, share any ideas for presents for littles. Gift ideas are always a plus... Anything else you wanna share regaurding big/lil will be appriciated.

oh oh oh!!! i am so excited for this. i feel in love with this girl that i prefed on sat (sept 13) and we have this awesome bond already. we are going to get coffee and study tonight after COB, so i am really excited. i can't wait for big/lil to see if i get her as a little!!! yippee!!

My family is HUGE. My little took 2 littles, so I've got 2 "branches" on my family. On one branch I'm up to a great great great grand little (that's 5 "littles" removed from me, for those of you keeping track at home). The other branch is up to my great grand little and they're taking a new one this semester. I don't think they did it on purpose, but it seems like one branch takes a little in the fall and the other one takes it in the spring. I don't live to far from school so I like to go back for revs and initiation and the like.

I still LOVE my little!! She's adorable! I'm going home this weekend and doing some major crafts to give her for initiation...a memory board(any tips on how to oh, make one of those??), a pin box, scrap book, flip-flops, a bag...so excited!

Some of you already know the story of my little! We were really tight when we were collegians! The relationship is all in what you make of it! That's just my piece of advice for the younger girls!

i find out on thursday! we just got our first batch of presents! Man alive my big sis is spoiling me! i know ill love her whoever she is!!! excitement excitemnet excitment!

tomorrow is our big/little revelation. i am very nervous/excited about it. i really want my big sister to be maryann, the girl i am closest to. she is awesome and her big, ashely is really cool too. i would love o be a part of their family. so that is who i am hoping for. i will be sort of disappointed if i dont get her, but im sure it will work out ho it is supposed to. i will post again after we get back form our retreat.

After this weekends spectacular big/lil revelation and sisterhood overnight retreat, I'm proud to welcome 5 new additions to the Angel Family: Baliey, Jenna, Caroline, Meredith, and Jodie. I love my grand lil's!!

I'm sooo excited....I got little #5 tonight!!! But she's not a little from my chapter, she's one of the new members at Case. We thought that it would be a cute idea to take the new members and adopt them so they had bigs and twins! So yay! I took a sweet girl named Rachael. She amazed me the first time I met her and was so excited to see her back on Bid Day. I totally see her getting super involved with DG...gee....sounds like me!! :D
I called her tonight to check up on her and so far she loves it and she's amazed at how welcoming everyone on campus has been. I'm hoping that we can continue this cause I think she's great! ;)

Yay! I've got my little sister....big/lil revelation was last night and she was SO suprised!!! I had the whole chapter, all of our GDI friends, all of the fraternity guys, and even 2 of her pledge sisters in on it......they all were trying to (and successfully) convinced her that I couldn't have a little sis.....It was obvious that if i could have a little sis who i wanted and we all knew that she wanted me, so had i been "able to have a little sis", there would have been no question as to who i had. She was so suprised....we used flowerpots and "clues in the them" to tell them who we are, and i filled this huge pot with seashells (our family), fake coins, and candy (most of which was candy) and at the bottom, i put my name on a piece of paper. She dumped out the jar, ripped the paper out, jumped up, kind of threw the pot down and said "YOU!!!" and ran over and gave me the worlds biggest hug.....most of the other sisters made their name a puzzle of some sort, but i figured that I had put her through enough that entire week, i'd be kind and make it quick for her....of course, th en she proceeded to tell me that she knew it was me all along. But it's cool, because now i don't have to lie :-D I'll post pictures from last night in a bit...Laura, you now have to share the world's best big sis :-P Some night when you both are on, i'll start a chat or something, you'd love her...like tim said last night, "oh my god...mandie, she's you, but blonde"
