I think that our homecoming is on October 26th. I don't think that I'll be going. I am going to hold out until April for the Greek Weekend.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend my school's homecoming this year (FAMU :( ) but I'll definitely be taking a trip down there for it next year.

It's my first one as an alum, so I'm extra excited...I've always wanted to go to the Bayou classic, unfortunately, I don't have the time this year, so you gotta let me know how it goes...I'm trying to go to the Circle City classic since I'm close.

If anybody wants to plan a GC/Howard homecoming get-together, I'm down...:)

My schools homecoming is Nov.2nd. FAMU vs. Hampton. My hubby and I are both "rattler" alumni, but we won't be making it to homecoming this year. But next year it's on and poppin!!:)

I will be in the BR (Baton Rouge) all weekend(Oct 12) for homecoming at Southern!!!!!!!!! Go Jags!! Then turning right back around coming back to Houston to see them play Prairie View (Oct 26), then turn around again back in New Orleans for Bayou Classic. GO JAGS

I'm with you, RefinedDiva... str8 left us out. But I am here to REPRESENT for Witt!! :D Our homecoming (and my 5th anniversary as a graduate) is October 11-13. I will be making the drive back so I can go!

I got to represent for the L U ! (Langston University ) I'll be there for homecoming ! Anyone from Lincoln coming ?

My whole family went there, my brother just graduated from there last semester. They begged me to go, but I was like SU! Langston has a very pretty campus though.

I will be attending FAMU's homecoming this year as well. I had a really good time last year and the previous year.

I will be at Alabama A&M's homecoming this weekend!!!! I plan to paint the campus pink and green!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hampton's homecoming was off the hook this year! I can't believe I even CONSIDERED not coming back after last year (because I thought it couldn't get any better). The midnight bowling party & party at Fisherman's Wharf were well worth the $20 each...if y'all weren't there, then you're probably much younger than me (cuz that's where allllllllllllll the old heads were)...I was there with my girls! Seeing old friends, old enemies, old "people that you just saw around campus", & I hugged everyone of them! I was so glad to be there! Oh, and learning a lesson from last year, I made it a point to wear boots that worked with my outfit---but, of course would not cripple me after 4+ hours! :) I hope everyone's homecoming is as HOT as ours was this year!!!

But, I totally missed the "serenade" & the stepshow gettin' my mingle on :( .

:p Okay, Okay so most homecoming events are for those schools that have a football team. But what about those HBCUs that only have a basketball team? Yes we have a homecoming too. Unfortunately it won't be until December 7th (Claflin University) But it will still be hott!! Hopefully my sorors and I can retain our homecoming step show championship. If any of you are in the area you should come.:p
