Will they get the offense producing some REAL results in time for OU-Texas (or does it not matter as long as Chris Simms is QB'ing)...

I for one am disappointed in 31-14 over USF... They could have done a lot better than that. Maybe they overlooked USF a little... Those last 14 points though were simply embarassing though...

I dunno why you are even talking about the Texas-OU game.....everyone knows how its going to turn out...Texas is going to kick the crap outta OU.

some fellow deltasigs from the beta kappa chapter (UT) have informed me they will be making the road trip for the game... I'm really looking forward to some great football & get-together with some crazy Deltasigs from UT!!!

Less than 2 weeks now... I'll be sitting over in the OU section around 20 rows up past the OU N-zone.

OU hates Texas=Vice Versa... Hate OU personally and would love our boys to destroy the sooners. Last Year I was in Deep Ellum watching the game and I remember all these fights breaking out between fans from both sides. My good friend Clay came down from OU, I thought he was crazy because he came to Texas wearing a shirt that said"the sixth flag over Texas" and it was a picture of an OU Flag. I hope Texas romps OU, but I'm a little scared because Sims sucks, he never shows up in big games. Benson is gonna run over OU this time. no Calmus and no Williams = no win.

This Sooner gal was in Austin last weekend for the ACL Festival, and I heard all kinds of knees knockin' and teeth chatterin'! :)

It's all in good fun! I haven't been to OU/TX in about four years, but I have fond memories. It's always a good game no matter who is ranked what (although OU did slide back into the #2 spot today). To anyone going to the game: have fun and be careful!

On a side note, I'd never been to Austin before last weekend. Great town.

Interesting things happened in last Saturday's games... Texas showed that it is weak offensively when it is faced with a real defense! (No offense North Carolina, North Texas or Tulane)

OU has shown itself to be hmm lacking offensively in its past several true matchups... So I'm thinking this should really be a helluva game.

Congrats to Oklahoma for beating Texas :) I knew they would win as they always do.

dudes, oklahoma is a marked team now, they broke the golden rule, dont mess with texas!!!

Marked? Oklahoma since Stoops has taken the program over has always been marked. No matter how bad a season you're having, beating Oklahoma supposedly turns it all around... Just ask last year's 3-8 Oklahoma State!

I think they play best when marked.

Texas on the other hand finally got into a real game after playing fearsome opponents like North Texas... North Carolina... Tulane.. Their first Big 12 game against OK State was almost a loss (this is a team that lost to Div I-AA LA Tech). They played a real game and showed that Mack Brown is great at hype but crap with execution.

Maybe they should consider hiring someone from Stoops' staff?
