Who is Rushing in Texas?
 

I was wondering how many people are going to be rushing at a college in Texas? If you are please list the school and the year that you are going to be in Fall 2001!!! Thanks

Good luck to you. I'm at A&M as well, but will not be participating in formal fall recruitment. Do you have a particular interest in any houses? Just in case (you know that this campus is VERY competitive) don't forget that Panhel is voting to bring a new GLO to campus in sept. They've already narrowed it down to two.

Ah, surely you know that it would'nt be prudent for a non-member to presume to know so much about a chapter! Texas A&M has a very strong greek system and all of the houses have desireable attributes and a charm unique to their chapter. A girl would be honored to belong to any house at our school.

Oh! But I guess I could mention that Kappa just finished renovating their house this year. A big addition and some cosmetic changes made the house a bit more up to date and gave them much needed space. It looks fantastic!!

I'm starting rush tomorrow at Texas A&M. I'm a freshman and I'm so nervous. I feel like everyone's going to be watching me and judging how I look and everything I do. I'll be so glad when this week is over with.

Does anyone know when they decide which house will be the new colony at A&M? Are all the other chapters super strong?

Please tell us how everything goes. You know how everyone loves to hear all the details on this board. Maybe you could start a thread and tell us abt the aggie rush experience! I feel sorry for ya'll having to stand outside so much. It's SOOO hot!

Panhellenic is supposed to make the final vote in Sept. So that's pretty soon. I am guessing they'll take the first pledge class this spring. That's how they did it when the last GLO (KD in 00) came on. This is pretty goofy, but the biggest question that I have has been "I wonder where they'll build?" !!! Sorority row is already full except for the old AGD house (vacant for 2 years). The last two GLOs to come on built gorgeous (HUGE) new houses and that really helped them get established.

Recruitment for Alpha Phi @ Texas Tech went great! We made quota, taking in 60 new members during this year's recruitment!

Hey y'all, I have not posted in a while, I have been so busy with rush and everything. Congratulations Alpha Phi for a great rush!! We also made quota, bringing in 62 beautiful new girls into Alpha Delta Pi at Texas Tech. I hope everything goes well for everyone rushing in Texas!

PnguinTrax: From what I understand, ZTA made quota at Texas Tech. I hope I am not misspeaking. Maybe there is a Tech Zeta out there...?

I think recruitment at Tech was one of the best in years, I believe most chapters took quota, and there were fewer "casualties" than usual.
