Schools with recruitment right now?

What other schools are going through formal recruitment right now besides IU?

Actually, today is bid day. That's why I mentioned it as happening now in my post above.

Vanderbilt's recruitment was actually postponed to January 12 because so many women couldn't make it to campus due to inclement weather.

A number of PA and NJ schools have deferred recruitment as well. East Stroudsburg, Clarion, TCNJ, etc.

Today is Bid Day at Washington and Lee.

I'm curious to see how it worked with the Delta Society, the breakaway former KD chapter. I can't really tell if they participated in formal recruitment or recruited separately.

I know of a couple schools in my area with recruitment coming up, mostly smaller private colleges.

Also, I believe High Point already did their recruitment. A girl I know from high school is a freshman there and has already been initiated into a sorority. Most of her friends have as well.

Washington University in St. Louis starts on Thursday - 1/11-1/14 with bid day on the 15th.

Furman just finished up their recruitment, and George Washington University will be hosting theirs the week after next. They just switched to deferred recruitment and it will be the first formal recruitment for the newly reestablished Theta chapter. Syracuse will be holding recruitment that week as well, as far as I know.

Pitt's Formal Recruitment Orientation is tonight. I don't know the exact dates of Recruitment, though.

I'm not sure when they went to deferred recruitment, but I know that there was always trouble scheduling around the High Holy Days.

BUDelta4Life, I’ll ask around to get the other numbers! Butler KKG took 50!

2017 was the year with the highest numbers of PNMS (470 going through for 7 chapters) due to a freshman class that was about 200 more students than expected and a lot of sophomores going through who chose not to rush in 2016 in favor of living in the swanky new sophomore dorm. 2018 was much more balanced with approximately 380 PNMs, which is pretty standard for BU.

granipc 01-21-2018 11:46 PM

Virginia Tech finished up last weekend I believe...

Mab 01-29-2018 06:22 PM

Cornell just finished last week.
