Hi GC'ers! I've been missing for awhile...too much stuff going on now that school is in!

I just had to post that I found out who my little sister is earlier tonight! She's so cute and I can't wait til we have Big Sis Revealing next week!

Anyway, when does everyone else get their little brothers and sisters? :D

I was just thinking about you the other day-hadn't seen your posts lately (oh yes I have no life :)), glad your back

We pick our bigs on Sunday and our bigs pick us-going back to that whole mutual selection process thing. We won't find out who our bigs are for two more weeks. UGHH!! The suspense is killing me already

I've already got two gorgeous littles, but I may have little grandsisses in the family as soon as two weeks from now. Wish us luck with Fall Informal!

my little sister - Krista L.
Krista's little sister - Amy
Amy's little sister - Lisa L. - who is Krista's real life little sister!

Hopefully Lisa can get somebody with the name of Amy to be her little sister ;)

I just got another great-grandlittle. I have 2 littles, 2 grandlittles, and 2 great-grandlittles. They rock! :D:cool:

I'm getting my first little brother in a few days! i'm so psyched.

I've been tryin' hard to be the best brother I could in terms of helpin' out the house. now I'll have a family line goin' again (I'm the only one left, my big graduated).

I am going to get a little this semester (in 1 week!). Yippeee!!!

my chapter hasn't done bigs & littles yet..but pretty much everyone in the chapter is going to have to get a little..i personally currently have 4 littles (2 active) 3 grandlittles, a great grandlittle, and a great GREAT grandlittle..yeah..give all of those another little and theres my HUGE family :)

the girls turn in their lists tomorrow and big/lil revealing is next friday.... i will definetly be taking a little, I just pray I don't have to decided which one!

Our new memebers will decide in a week. That way it gives them some more time to get to know us a little better that way they dont have to be rushed when decideing thier top 3 choices. Us actives do the same...if we chosse to take on a little sister then we also write down our top 3 and then they are matched up. Its really cool right now beacause we are really getting to know the girls because of the up coming powder puff game, so the connections are already being made.

However, I have 2 right now and I'm debating if i want to take another. In a way i feel that i will losse the connection that i have formed with my 2 right now if i choose to add another. Espescially because I have just recently gotten a lot closer to my newest little this semester. Any suggestions on that.

Unless there is such a large amount of pledges that you HAVE to take on another little, I would just say no - two is plenty.

I want a little brother. Not this semester though. There are other people who need them. But, next semester. I'm trying to recruit about six guys. If any/all of them pledge I better get a little.

We do big/littles about 3-4 weeks into the new member period, once they know the actives a little better. I currently have 2 actual littles, Vanessa and Beeta (Beeta isn't active for Fall though, but I hope she comes back in Winter), and I've adopted 2 littles, Sam (who isn't so involved in the chapter anymore, but she didn't feel too comfortable with her big... my boyfriend's lil bro is her boyfriend... weird), and Krystle (who's big transferred to UCLA). I really really really want grandlils this year, because I'm a senior and I went SOOO long without a family! The family trees are important to me in the chapter, and mine has been kind of weird... My big was a senior when I was a freshman, her big was a senior when she was a freshman, and was also a transfer from Colgate University in New York, so I only know names of my family, but not much more! I'm going to adopt a few Delt lil bros this year though, even though I consider all of them my boys!

oooooooooh i get a little (pledge class size permitting, fingers CROSSED!!) 10/17... eeeeki can't wait!

I get a grand little in two weeks! I'm so excited!

Ballerina just called with this complicated, hilarious story of getting her big this past week. It started with all kinds of false clues, including members who sadly told her they were sorry she wouldn't be getting the girl she wanted, and culminating in a kind of candlelight ceremony where the candle was passed and your big blew it out. The candle passed her big and got way down to her grandbig and her big raced down and blew it out.

LOL!!!!!:D

I just got my big last night during week 4 of our new member perod! We also did the mutual selection process by us listing the top three and I have no idea how the bigs did it. I got my top choice though and I am so excited! They had all the NMs make collages about themselves 'to hang on the hall so the sisters can get to know you' and thats how the bigs got ideas for what to get the littles. My big clue was realy easy at revealing once I looked around the room to see who was there. I am so excited about finaly having a big and Im part of the largest family in our chapter!:D

I'll probably get a little. but i'll know for sure by the end of this week. i'm sooo excited. Me and one of my other sisters cant wait to start shopping so we can spoil them!!! hehe

I get my little next week! I'm so excited & can't wait!!!

YEY! I got a great little! she doesn't know it yet, thought :-)

I have one little that is the coolest girl ever - she's also my roommate. Our new member class is huge, so I suppose I'll be taking another in a few weeks. Everyone in our chapter but seven people will have to take littles. I'm excited to see who picks me - we go by who they want to be their bigs. And if there's any problems, then we work off the sister's lists.

On another note, my big's big's big was the reason I joined D Phi E. She was the coolest girl ever and she was a senior when I was a freshmen. Our family tree is a little messed up - some people have twins and some are branches off of my big's big's big. But, I am excited for Little #2 - whomever she may be!

We get to pick our bigs/they pick us next week I think. I'm not sure who I want yet, but we have turtle buddies right now, and we pick from them. I'm so excited!

I want another!
My big sis is long gone, and sicne I was pledge educator the year after she graduated, I could not take a little sister. I got one last year, but I want another person in my family! Since we have rush in Spring, I won't really get to have one :-( (I'm a senior)

Actually just found out that I knew him briefly before he rushed. Met him at a friend's party at a lake.. We're going to have to get some traditions started here.

I just got my pledge mom tonight, it was so much fun! They put all the nm's in a room and all the actives went to the kitchen to draw a picture of themselves. Then the new member educator came out 11 times and each of us got a paper one time, and we couldn't look...thankfully I was last because I totally would have sneaked a peek.

I got our chapter president for my mom, which is so cool! She wasn't who I had a little crush on, but it's okay because that girl is my sister in our family...so one of my pledge sisters is actually my niece! :)

I got presents too...and everybody loves presents!

As Bigs, we find out who our littles are in 2 weeks and then we have a week of clues and gifts. So the new members have to wait for 3 weeks till they find out who their big is... I am so excited to finally get a little. I could potentially be taking on 2 littles, we will see. I can't wait..:):)

ok i found out i AM getting a little for sure....just dont know who until friday!!! AHHHH the suspense, i've already started shopping tee hee :)

Our Big Sis Revealing is this Saturday! I am so excited. This is my first little!

Ahhh i'm sooo excited...i know who my little is!!! She's so adorable and sweet!!! And we have the same fav color and we love the same sport....is this the perfect little or what!?

I found out who my big was on Bid night... I was kind of shocked..because it seems like other chapters dont reveal for a few weeks. But don't get me wrong...my big is AWESOME!! :D :D :D

Carnation -- I forget, where did Ballerina end up? Would it be ridiculous to ask you to post your Greek Family tree? I try so hard to keep up and fall short sometimes.....

I ask because Ballerina's situation sounded EXACTLY like mine... but then I guess a lot of girls have similar stories :)

I have a new little! and my little took a little! So now i think we have the biggest family again! Ayways she is awsome and i cant wait to start our silver sis week (aka big/little week) it going to be great and i'm excited!:D

I just found out this week who my grand little is going to be and she is going to be the perfect addition to my family. I know my lil nad here will have the same (super close) relationship that we do. I'm also so so excited to offically welcome her to the family Sunday night!!!!

I wish I could have a little:( I didn't get a little this semester. I really shouldn't be too suprised because I have been really busy this semester and haven't been able to hang out with a lot of our new girls. The bad thing is that 7 of our nm's don't have a big and I hope they don't ask me to take one of them because I don't want them to get me if they didn't want me. Oh well, maybe next semester.
