Am I the only one who needs to go to some kind of "Greek Chat Rush Threads anonymous"?
All I do all day is read rush threads, it's getting nuts!! I am in my 2nd year of Law School and am getting nothing done! Somebody please help me! I can't stop!! I keep subscribing to more instead of cancelling any of them!! I know I should just stop, but I can't.
Please tell me I'm not the only 1!!

Oh yeah, I am addicted too -- to greekchat in general, but I do have a very hard time staying away from the rush threads. I check my computer ALL the time.

I think it's funny how many of us with serious addictions are in the law field. ;)

Yeah-they warned us about the addiction thing during 1L orientation! Silly me...I thought the only addictions out there that could lead to any trouble had to do with drugs/alcohol...didn't know that an obsession with rush/Greek life would become so serious!

I too am addicted!!!! About two months ago they changed our firewalls at work--and I can no longer get to GC from the office. With my addiction to the rush threads, that is probably a good thing, otherwise nothing would get done.
My husband has been working nights for the past month--so everynight around 830 I hurry and get the kids to bed---just so I may come and read rush stories!!!!

Okay, I am an addict too, but did anyone else think that the threads were much better when we were naming names?

Well, I know why we stopped, so could we at least call the groups Alphas, Betas, Gammas, etc. instead of #1, #2, #3, etc. By numbering the groups, I never know if they are talking about original order, or that round's order, or the ranking.
