Long as it isn't a spider.

AchtungBaby80 09-17-2002 11:08 PM

Hey, that ain't nothing compared to what I saw in the laundry room last week.

The1calledTKE 09-17-2002 11:11 PM

What did you see?

AchtungBaby80 09-17-2002 11:12 PM

It was this big, brown, horrendous thing that looked suspiciously like...a cockroach. *shudder* It's obvious that that thing was eating well! I'm hoping it was just a waterbug, though...

The1calledTKE 09-17-2002 11:13 PM

I kill spiders as soon as I see them I hate them.

AchtungBaby80 09-17-2002 11:15 PM

Have you seen those really big brightly-colored spiders? They're HUGE. We used to have one that lived on our basement door at home, and I refused to use that door as long as it was there. :o

The1calledTKE 09-17-2002 11:22 PM

You should have gotten a guy to go down there for you and kill it with one swat of a magazine.

Wow.........what a different kind of thread!

Considering there are millions.. actually maybe more than that, I don't think the world will miss a few crickets or spiders here and there ;)

In Hawaii they have these flying cockroaches at least 3 inches long, you just pray it never lands in your hair (it happened to my sister, she's scarred for life). Even if you step on them, they still crawl away. Nasty suckers....Yuck!!

texas*princess 09-18-2002 12:29 PM

 Flying roaches :( That's not cool!!!

queequek 09-18-2002 01:25 PM

LOL, we had a bat inside our kitchen last week ... and when we tried to get it out, it suddenly disappeared ... nobody knew where it went, until now! Hopefully it found its way out, otherwise it might still be in our kitchen (which is not good) :o Just wait until fire marshall finds some surprises, he he he ...

queequek 09-18-2002 01:27 PM

Oh, I hate any kind of cockroaches .. flying, crawling, dying, smiling, whatever ... and if you remove their heads, they still be able to survive up to 8 days ...

texas*princess 09-18-2002 01:41 PM

Yikes!!! 8 days?! What do they do for 8 days without a head?! Don't they need to eat food and use the lil antenae to feel their way around?!

http://smilies.uniquehardware.co.uk/cwm/3dlil/errr.gifAhhh it's so mind boggling & icky!!!
