Super Powers
 

If you could have one super power, anything you wanted, what would it be?

Mine would be what those in the D&D world call Tongues. I'd be able to speak, read, write, and understand every language as if it were my mother tongue.

Hadn't really thought about it, but that would be very cool. Good thought.

I would either like to become invisible at will or to have a television-like device that would allow me to see the repercussions (sp?) of my actions to help me make the right choices.

If i could have a super power, it would be the ability to be in more than one place at a time!

This would be sooooooo helpful, so I could go to class, be at work, do homework, keep my place squeaky clean and always have time for fun!!!

My first thought is that I would like to have the power to read other people's minds.

lol, I used to think that too. Then I realized do I REALLLLY wanna know what people think about me? Hmm....sometimes ignorance is bliss. I know if I had this power, I would really feel bad after signing on GC, lol. I am pretty sure my opinions make me a bit unpopular. ;)

I see things sometimes and say things sometimes that people find is true with out them telling me!

I do not know what it is but if you stop and think, it does get a little scarry!

I thought about this a lot when I was a kid, sometimes as an adult as well. I wish I could time travel, but I would have to be able to take anyone I wanted with me.

Freeze time like that Edie chick on the early 90s sitcom Out of This World. That way I could finish all my school work then go to my job and still have time to do other things I'd wanna do. Plus if I were 30 minutes late somewhere...........

DUDE! I totally had a Matrix dream the other night in which I was able to jump up far far far into the air and float...and then this guy started shooting at me and I went into that slow motion routine dodging bullets...YEAH, THAT'S THE SUPER HERO POWERS I WANT!

I wish I could snap my fingers and be in a different country or time period. Talk about savings on airfare.

To be invisible

I would want to be like Sabrina the Teenage Witch and be able to dress myself appropriately for any occasion with the snap of my fingers!

Either X-ray vision... hehehe, :D or mind reading...

I would like to instantly travel to anyplace I think of.

Hmm... I'd have a tough time deciding between flight, invisibility, or the ability to stop time (read: the ability to sleep in and not be late for work :) )

I'd like to have what I call the "remote control" power. I would be allowed to fast forward, rewind, pause (etc) any situation. :D

No, I'm not particularly a D&D fan. In high school I was what's known as a "Gamer Widow." My XBF was a huge gamer and the only way I ever got to see him was by learning to game myself. I was never any good at it and gaming was just another vehicle through which his friends could treat me like crap. So no, I don't really game, but I know about it.
