Slogan Time!
 

Ok, so it's recruitment time and a lot of sororities have already had their bid day...and I am a total t-shirt nut so I was wondering what everyone's bid day shirt slogans were this year.

Ours say "These are the years, These are the girls, This is the sorority!"

That was our tshirt last fall! :D
Since I go to American, we did a little play on words this year- it says "Alpha Chi Omega- Keeping American Beautiful" with a pic of Marilyn Monroe on the back :) tee hee, they're so cute!

Our bid day is tomorrow night! We're giving out 4 bids to some KICKASS women!!! So excited!

Ive seen Phi Sigs with a shirt like that!

"Phi Sigma Sigma, Keeping America Beautiful!"

Our was cute this year.. they said "Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow, Don't walk behind me I may not lead, but walk Next to me and be my sister!" There was 3 turtles next to one another. Its cute. Better than MY bid day, we got stiched lettered shirts, pink and green letters on an white and green ringer! It ISN"T my fav. shirt!

and since KKPsi has their:
"Two K's... and a big ass Psi" call... we made our own slogan:
"3 different letters, 3 times better!"

This year our shirts say, "Kappa: Made from the Best Stuff on Earth."

I think a lot of people have the same or similar slogans.
I don't know what they did this year.
I don't believe this is a t-shirt slogan, but on my campus a sorority wrote all over thier cars," WE live for eachother." THis guy in my pr class was teasing his friend who is in that house. He was saying," Wha't up with your slogan? Sounds like you guys kill for eachother---It's like the single white female movie." Anyway he was funnier in person.
If this is a chapter slogan please realize that I wasn't dissing your house.

Our shirts were baby tees that were the Tiffany & Co. blue. They had black writing and said

Alpha Xi Delta & Co.

We have a Charlie's Angels theme this year. Our Recruitment slogan is "This is the time. This is the place. These are the girls!", and our Bid Night slogan is "Charlie...Mission accomplished."
Another one that also goes with this theme that I thought was really cute (and is the theme of one of our invite nights) is "Filled with angels, but one hell of a sorority!"

We got the Tiffany shirts too!! We love ours they are so cute! We all wore them today to school with jean skirts and we were totally noticed! It was great!!!!

if you have adpi's at your campus it's them... that's our sorority's open motto! :)

Yep we have ADpi's on campus.

The Rho Chi's and Panhellenic officers had shirts that said:

Some girls go to college to meet their husbands,
Sorority girls go to meet their bridesmaids.

That is awesome!!

The Tri Sigmas on my campus had really cute ones.

Our bid day shirts said

"Why walk when you can fly?" We sang that song as an exit song at first parties and it is one of my favorites. It has a kite and it really really colorful on the back! I love it!

a couple of years ago a fraternity had the "we're tighter than your little sister" shirts. Now they are having no charter and fliers say "we're still tighter than your little sister." I thought that was awesome.

That's what our's were last fall. This year ours was "The best just got better."

This is my very favorite one, I love it. :D

Our bid shirts had a picture of a cartoon owl on the front and it said "Wouldn't ya know, I'd go Chi - O!! The back said Bid Day 2002....they are white with yellow around the sleeves and neck and the writing is in red....they are way cute!

we have two recruitment shirts this semester:

a black one with purple letters outlined in yellow (our colors) which reads Delta Phi Epsilon on the front,and
I don't want you to be PERFECT,
I don't want you in my SHADOW,
Be my SISTER by my SIDE on the back.

the other is a white shirt with a purple n yellow dr seuss on the left breast laying on the wording: Delta Phi Epsilon
Florida International University
and on the back it reads:
I will not party in a boat,
I will not party w/ a goat,
I will not party in a house,
I will not party w/ a mouse,
I will not party w/ a fish,
I will not party in a dish,

with really cute illustrations by each phrase.

Our Bidday shirts will read (our Rush is this upcomcing week Sept 17-21) WE don't choose to be the BEST, The BEST choose US.

The pic is of 3 little girls sitting together, its cute and perfect for our chapter.

My bid day shirt (Fall 97) is still one of my favorites. It was right after the Budweiser frogs were out. THe back had a cartoonish lilly pond with three frogs on it. Frog #1 said "Buds" Frog #2 "4" Frog #3 "Life". The front had the date and "KD Buds 4 Life".

Another cute KD one is from UCF last year. The front said "KAY DEE" and the back said "We only recruit the best". THe sirt itself was a cute camoflauged babydoll shirt.

Our most noticed shirt was bright yellow with blue letters that said "Don't Talk About It....BE ABOUT IT!!!"

We also had shirts that said
"It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right..."

and

"On the road of life there are friendships and there are sisters....Sisters wanted"

and baseball shirts that said "Phi Sigma Sigma...In a League of Their Own" on the front!!

This year our bid day shirts were black with white writing and it was the PONY shirt design but it said ADPi on the front and the back said: You think you know, but you have no idea. Arizona State Bid Day 2002
Delta Gamma said "often imitated, never duplicated"
Theta said"Thought Theta Thought Right", and on the back "as if there were any other choice"
Kappa had the same "if there were any other choice"
Alpha Phi's said"Legally Alpha Phi"
Everyone else just had there name's

The slogan on our bid day shirts this year was...

"All women are created equal. Some just make better choices!"

Alpha Theta Chi: "Filled with angels, but one hell of a sorority!"

Our bid day shirts this year had a night sky on the back with a shooting star, and said "Star Light, Star Bright, I got the wish, I wished last night."...so cute :)

Ours for Fall 2002 Bid day said: Always Sophisticated, Often Imitated, Never Duplicated. The shirt was royal purple (our color) and the words were written in lilac. The words were on the back in a circle, surrounding some hawaiann flowers. Which matched our Recruitment theme perfectly.

Last year's shirts were "safety" orange and said on the back: I've been smiling lately thinking of hte good things to come and i believe something good has just begun.

I really liked the idea of doing on the front "True Life Diary of a Sigma-Tri" and he back saying "YOu think you know, but you have no idea"

We also like the slogan, "If I were a mode of transportation, I'd be a sailboat." OUr symbol's a sailboat so it fits.

The sigma chapter I advise recruitment shirts this year were similiar to that..they were black shirt and on the front they said "sigma" in white letters with purple border and on the back they said "you think you, but you don't"

On a window in the dorms... spoken to the ZTAs... whose symbol is a crown.. I thought it was quite funny..

"We don't need crowns, we'll get ours in heaven."

Some cute ones on campus the last few years:

*"We may stand out, but we never stand alone." - this was the Rho Mu (recruitment mentor) shirts - has all of the sorority mascots on the back holding hands

Our bid day shirts this year:

(back) Isn't it great to be a squirrel

our shirts were baseball style shirts... white with black sleeves... it says I (HEART) CHI OMEGA (greek letters) like the I LOVE NY shirts.. and on the back in little letters it has stuff like Bid Day 2002 ect.... i like it

The three bid day shirts I remember from my chapter are:

1. When we were still a colony, we were on a shoestring budget, and another chapter had had a set of shirts printed where the printers left out a color, so they sold them to us at cost. They were a takeoff on Looney Tunes. Front: "Alpha Epsilon Phi Presents: Bid Day" with the head of a giraffe inside a couple of concentric circles (I think the circles were supposed to be red, and that's the color the printers forgot). Back: Porky Pig saying "Th-th-that's all folks!" Sisters could buy one at cost; I declined. UG-LY. :p

2. The following year, we printed our own. Front: picture of an American Express card with "Alpha Epsilon Phi" where "American Express" would be on an actual card, a giraffe where the centurion's head would go, and the date of bid day as the "credit card number". Back: "Membership Has Its Privileges" I bought this one.

3. The shirts my chapter has used for the past couple of years have a "Superman" design - the Superman 5-sided shape with the letters AEPHI instead of the S. Sisters and new members both wear them on bid day.

There was more but i forget what else.

a couple years ago kappa had an awesome one... on the front was a big license plate that said "KAPPA" on it, and on the back it said "Get Ready for the Ride of Your Life"... I was so jealous, it was such a neat idea!
