I just don't know what to say about him. I already posted this observation in another forum but I'd like to know did it seem to any of you all that he had gained weigh? Micheal has surely gained especially around his waist. Also, that was a wig on his head....I could tell becuase you can't see the part as the center part precede to the middle of the head.
Britney looks like Slutvalley. All that $$$$$ and she can't do better.

yeah Mike looks like he missed Abs of Steel and Slim Fast -- he is starting to age. In order to get down with his bad self, he will have to go back to his personal trainer. Also did it sound like he was trying to go masculine with his voice?:confused:

I know Ashanti has a head full of hair. But why did she have a WIG on her head, now I noticed when she was performing with Jarule. I kid you not; that's a wig on her head. FOR REAL!!!!!!!!!! Now I'm in the central standard time and I'm about 1hour into the show................I haven't seen the rest but I"m watching!

T-Boz and Chilli were about to make me cry. It's still a trip that Left Eye is dead. I am still in awe about Aaliyah.

I missed the beginning of the show. Anyway, y'all have me trippin' because I LOVE Nas and now I am nervous to watch the re-show. Was it that bad? Let's not even talk about Ashanti...

Mary's hair is bangin'! I just caught a glimpse of her when T(L)C was talking.

No Doubt.... no thanks. That guy just gave a shout out to "Morgan, who is the captain of the ship" Am I reading to much into it or was this DRUNK giving an undercover shout-out to Captain Morgan's alcohol? (They had to be on that liquor to make that "hey, baby" song) Things that make you go hhhmmmmmm......

Ashanti was wearing a wig for Soul Train. I could tell because her hair was separated in the top but there wasn't a part...dead giveaway. Maybe she did it just for convenience or to give volume.

I had tears in my eyes when T-Box and Chilli were onstage. I'm not feeling the Chilli's haircolor.

The show is so boring.

I haven't only seen one VMA from MTV and that was maybe when New Edition was on some years back. Thanks for posting the pics DELTAQTE becaue what I want to know is......what in the hell was up with Pink. What is that mess she has on, and what is up with those tattoo's? I only saw parts of the show but I did see Christina Stankguilera! :eek: She looked a hot mess. Did yall see her walk onto the stage? Could the camera be any more up in her behind?? That was just so unclassy! Is it me or is she a little more 'top' heavy? Maybe she was showing off her new purchase! :rolleyes:

I saw it last night, and Christina did look a hot mess!! WTH made her put THAT on?? Britney looked like a straight slut in what she had on. I thought I was the only one who thought that Britney just took a break from the corner to give MJ a happy birthday greeting! I thought that Eminem was going to come off that stage and bust Moby in his dome. :eek:
Justin's solo effort sounded all right and I got so sick of the JaRule/Ashanti show. Who told them that they were the Black Fred Astaire/Ginger Rodgers?? P.Diddy spent WAAAAAYYYY too much $$ on that set. All those people were not necessary!! Did anybody see the look on Fat Joe's face when Jimmy Fallon made that joke about him?? It seemed like EVERYBODY was drunk toward the end of the show, not just Pink (or Black as I called her with what she had on).

Kim Porter is also the mother of one of Sean Combs' children, I believe it's the little son. She's a very attractive young woman -- there was a beautiful spread of her and Veronica Webb in Town & Country, spring 1999.

I went to bed after Puffy Performance which I actually enjoyed.

I was almost in tears when T-Boz and Chilli were out there crying as they paid honor to Lisa. I remember the fay I first came to Charlotte back in the spring was the day Lisa left the world. :(

Okay let's go back to Ja-Ghoul (my name for him -- Quizzle STOLE it from me:p) and Ashanti's performance. Didn't that remind you of an MJ video where Mike walked through the streets singing to a heffa wearing high heeled knee high boots and she ran from him -- "The Way You Make Me Feel" I believe is the one I am thinking of.

Anyway PINK the whole time she was on stage, I was reminded of Prayerfull's allusion to her as an STD. LMAO.

Ashanti -- Hair does not need to be assessed if it still there and in place when it is yours and all yours. That walk of yours was cute for like 2 months, now it is time to get with Darrin DeWitt Henson and learn some new moves.

Brittney really did look like she would like to sing BOOTY FOR SELL!! Come and get some.

oh and HOW COME some rich folks look like they cannot dress. Hell some of them might look better fashion wise if they went to the clearance rack @ Wal Mart and got their duds.

Now Steeltrap I'm a collector of Town & Country mag. I put that magazine before Essence, Elle, etc. However, I wasn't hip to the magazine until late late 1999. I hate I didn't get a chance to see that issue. Is they any information about Kim Porter on the web. She can dress her ?!$ss*8 off!

I would plug in Kim Porter and another keyword, such as Puffy, or modeling. Kim Porter's a fairly common name, so you may get a bunch of pages.

I'm not aware, however, of a specific tribute page to Ms. Porter.

If you want to see the article, go to the public library in the fanciest part of town...they might have the mag in their "stacks" (going back to college term). :)

I finally got to see his performance. I wanted to know if anyone else saw what I saw.

At some point in the song, around when the clips came out, he says something like I really like your brains" and he does a hand moition like he is pushing something down.

I don't know about where you guys live but on the east "brains" is another was to say oral sex.

Nope, you're not the only one who saw it. I was a little shocked that he said it though.

Wow i never heard that used for brains. But i am in the mid west. I know that NERD or neptunes used the term brains a lot. they have a songs about it on the cd..they do a lot with with clips. And I would not doubt if they help write the song.

I am watching the second half of the vmas now. The first ten mins and tlc protion were the best.. p diddy did alright too. But after that i was disappointed.

But then again NERD also had a song called lap dance and they had to make a clean version of the video. so that isn't saying much either :p

I just watched the show this afternoon and I was less than impressed.

First, will someone please teach Ashanti some stage presence and how to dance. I am so tired of seeing her do that same little two step over and over and over again. I swear she smooths her hair down every two seconds. Someone really needs to teach her some moves so that she look halfway decent when she steps foot on the stage. Her voice was not good either. She sounds horrible singing live. She should have lip-synched like P. Diddy did.

T-Boz and Chili really had me getting misty-eyed. I was tearing up and about to cry right along with them. I really applaud MTV for establishing the scholarship fund in Left Eye's honor.

Isn't Kim Porter a fashion stylist/ designer now? I think I remember seeing her on one of the ETish shows. :confused:

Isn't she also in the Biggie Video where they all are in the jacuzzi and she has the blonde Princess Leah do going on...
