No, I haven't heard anything. I wrote one of my (our) sisters to find out, but I haven't heard from her. I'll post the results as soon as I find out...;)

yeah recruitment is finally here!!!:D tommorrow is info night. The presidents and recruiment chair of all five sororities would have a question and answer session with the pnms. Panhellenic decided to have a huge skit with members of each org in it, because they wanted to promote greek unity. Then on friday night it is our turn as Sigma Kappas to show our stuff!!! i cant wait!!!

SoCalGirl posted in the general forums that for Xi chapter at KU quota was 52 and we got 62! Yeah us!

Woo Hoo! Yay for Xi @ KU!!! Sig Kap chapters are kickin butt in recruitment!! Everyone keep posting results, I love to hear 'em! :D

mid recruitment update for Northwest
 

Pref is tomorrow at Northwest Missouri Sate and we are so excited!

273 girls signed up for recruitment, but I have no idea how many have dropped out so far. I do know how many people dropped us yesterday, the first day for PNM to drop.

:: Drumroll Please ::

We only had 6 girls drop us! :D :D :D

We had the least amount of girls drop us of any sorority!! And as the panhell recruitment director said that one other group had about the same amount, and everyone else had "considerably more" drop them. Whoooo!

I have 3 rush crushes that I MUST ;) have as SK's and several other awesome girls that I totally love. I'm so excited for tomorrow! I know I'll be bawling my eyes out with all of the emotional stuff (I already did in practice ;) :p :D )!

gamma eta at ball state university in muncie indiana gave out bids today...bid day is tomorrow, so i dont know final numbers yet, but... quota was 24 and we gave out 50 bids... ill update you when i know mo :) :)

today was preference and let me tell you....i had so much fun talking to alot of pnms. i cried so much today, because they were tears of joys and a little sadness for the seniors. rush week takes a lot out of you and i got a cold, a bruised elbow, and my voice is gone!!! i am so happy it is over and knowing that we will get our bid list in 2 hrs and seeing the new member class dressed in the most cutest sk gear. during the week i really saw the sisterhood my sisters really have. it wasnt fake or forced on. i was so proud of being part of my chapter. when setting up the room, i realize why i chose sigma kappa as MY SORORITY. just want to tell you ladies i am so happy to be a sig kap and i love you all!

O.K. my friend wrote me and told me that The University of Arizona made quota and house total. I don't know the numbers yet...she forgot to mention them. So, I'll get back to you all on that. But just knowing that we made quota and house total is great news!!!

I'm so glad to hear all the results!!! Gamma Beta's formal recruitment has not started yet, September 20th is stage one! Were expecting almost triple the girls we had last year. (thanks MTV) We've been having so much fun getting our skits and dances ready. Wish us luck!

i'm really happy to hear of all your wonderful results. congrats! i am actually an alumni right now b/c my chapter (alphaiota miami university of ohio) decided to close due to dwindling membership and a hard time recruiting. i know personally how hard it can be to recruit so i'm very proud of all of you for getting such great numbers.

:( From what I'm being told, out of 50 bids that we gave out, only 10 showed up for bid day. Could've been better, but the girls we got are a new kind of Grade A, so I'm pumped!!!! :D

i am so happy!!! today was bid day and it was so much fun. since we live in vegas, our bid day party was at the venetian hotel. our theme this year is "tiffany." our rhine studded t-shirts say "sigma kappa & co." and we had "breakfast at tiffany's" theme party. the restaurant blocked off a big section for us. i love our new girls!! drum roll please.....................

Congrats SigKapQueen! Theta O (my chapter) had the Tiffany's shirts this past spring--they're such a cute idea. One of your girls came to our disco date party two springs ago, and she was awesome. I'm sure you all are a fantastic chapter.

September 20th is almost here!!! Im running around looking for SUNNY colors to put on our brag table! .... Ill let you ladies know whats up when we start! Congrats to everyone thats done so well!!!

Today was bid day for Kappa Alpha at Northwest Missouri State University and the results are in! Quota was 34 and Sigma Kappa got....

41 New Members!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

We have 5 NPC's on campus, three others got 41 and the other got 23 (which beat their goal)! We got some really awesome girls, stole a couple legacies ;) and are really excited about our new girls! My heart sis is awesome too! I'm trying to work on our chapter web site, and whenever I get a pictures from today up I'll post a link!

The Delta Theta chapter of Sigma Kappa is pround to now have 37 new members!! Quota was set at 30 and we had to wait a couple of days for the final results!

I am a heart sis this semester and I love my new member! Pledge Pining was on Tuesday and they all looked cute in their bid day t's yesterday.

yall do realize that just from what has been posted, we now have about 300 new members!!! not to mention those that have not been posted. i'm so excited!! and most of you have gone above quota! keep on rushin'!!

Okay...quota for the U of Az was around 60. House total was 130. We made both. My friend said that a lot of women went through recruitment this year. When I was there back in '99-'01, the number of girls that went through was somewhere around 700, so it must have been even more than that. She also said that a large number of women did not get into a house b/c so many of them chose to suicide. She doesn't know what they were thinking!!! Oh well, we did well and that's what really matters!:)

When shopgirl said many of them chose to 'suicide' she means that pnms only listed one sorority on thier preference ranking card.
So if Patty PNM only lists XYZ sorority on her preference card and XYZ reaches quota before Patty PNM is listed on their bid list, then Patty will not receive a bid to any house b/c she chose not to list a second or third choice.

Congrats to Zeta Omicron!! That is awesome news! Congrats to Delta Theta too! It is great to hear that everyone is doing so well. :D

Hey ladies!!
Beta Eta checking in with our recruitment updates. Today was skit night and it was AWESOME!!!! We had a 68% return from yesterday wich was a 66% return from the day before! we had full parties and I am SO excited and I think we are going to do VERY well :-)

8 awesome girls to sigma kay!!!! we made quota and COB starts now!!! Im so excited ... I know 8 doesnt sound like all that many ... but on a campus that has very few greeks ... it feels so great to have a group of great girls and be one of the houses that did VERY well this fall recruitment.
