Just curious, what are the best Greek stores online?? I've heard not to support greek101 (from here) and greekconcepts (from here also) so, which ones are the nice ones to buy from? I'm kinda in a bind to get something special for my greek..so..help? :)

I always feel better buying from a brick & mortar store. In any college town you should have no trouble finding a greek gift shop.

Well, I would, but, Ohio University is 45 min's away and doesn't have anything of TKE :( Ohio State University does..but..it's a pain and a half trying to find greek stores when you're not really familiar w/the campus. And the campus 'store' has -nothing- of any GLO..so... :(

It's ok though because you're really not a TKE.

Join a sorority at your school, then once you're initiated you can buy their gear all you want at the campus stores.

AOX81 has a business that she advertises a lot. I forget what it's called but it's got a nifty website and prices seem decent. IF you look in Cool Sites... there are lots of posts there.

You know, I've noticed that in most of your replies to people, you're really rude, Rudey. Is that where you got your name from?

There is nothing wrong with a non-TKE buying TKE items, if they're buying them for a TKE. I would assume since her name includes the words TKE and Sweeheart, she's in a relationship with one. So lay off and keep the nasty comments to yourself.

We're all Greeks here, so why make snarky remarks? If any of us wanted that, we'd go talk to some GDIs.

Anyway, about good stores, I can't think of any specific right now, but if you go onto Google and type in greek store, you should get a lot of results. That's what I usually do. Sometimes you can find things on eBay, but usually they're not the greatest.

allgreek2me is closed for a few months, the owner, Sara, is moving from Texas to like DC I think. It's a nice store, good prices... i was one of her last customers before it was shut down. Look for her to be back in a few months. She also usually offers discounts to greekchaters :D

I'M SO FREAKING SICK AND TIRED OF BEING BASHED BECAUSE I'M DATING A FREAKING TKE AND HAPPEN TO BE PROUD THAT I AM A SWEETHEART!!!!!!!!! The only reason I put up this thread is to find out the best places to get Greek-related gifts, because guess what ALL MY F*CKING FRIENDS ARE GREEK. I and my boyfriend's anniversary is coming up and I'm so gawd damn sorry that I just wanted to get something that dealt with his fraternity. I'm so gawd damn sorry that I'm not trying to take him away from his fraternity like other GDI GF's do and actually promote his brotherhood and support it!!!

Some of you on here have made it clear to me why there are GAWD DAMN INDEPENDENTS and ANTI-GREEKS. But, THANKFULLY, they're are the others who accept EVERYONE no matter what affliation they have and guess what...THEY are the ones who have the larger chapters and a whole lot better PR and more people wanting to join!!!

Also, if you don't know what a SWEETHEART is I will gladly explain it to you or any of the fine TKE's on here will. So before you bash, find out what it is. It's like someone bashing Greeks saying all they do it drink all the time, haze everyone, and ruin your college career.

On another note, Rudey, I DO NOT wear TKE all the time...those aren't MY letters. I only wear them at TKE functions and anytime the guys need me to do PR for them. I only wear what my boyfriend buys me or what he has. That's the rule w/in the chapter. NO Sweetheart may buy her own TKE apparrel.

But, on a nicer note, I just ordered something from GreekGear.com, any thoughts? :)

Oh, Chantilly, yeah, on my website he has his own page, he loves it :) Those are the easiest and sweetest things to do :)

Just a question, are you also unfsigmachi? I know he had a problem with TKE also even though they arenot even at his campus. Pretty strange to hate a fraternity that isn't even at your school.

I would have thought the post above about no TKE chapter on my school would have given away I didn't say it. What is there to apologize for? I haven't done anything wrong.

You have no idea that there is a difference between being proud about something and being obsessive. This isn't about Greek vs GDI. This isn't about TKE vs any other fraternity. This isn't about being jealous. This is about a girl who constantly talks about her boyfriend and HIS fraternity. This is about a girl who wears letters, wears a pin, makes jokes about being "owned" by TKE, has a website dedicated to her boyfriend, pops up her boyfriend's name into many posts, and scariest of all, has a counter (days, minutes, seconds) of how long she has been with her boyfriend.

This is something that bothers me. I haven't said anything bad about TKE yet you threw that on me. Do you know what I know about TKE? Nothing. Not one bit of information. Do you know what bad things TKE has ever done to me? Nothing. Do you know what good things I know TKE's do? Nothing so I am not jealous. This isn't about TKE. I do not dislike or hate them in any manner. I believe in greek life spreading and hope each chapter of each house does well.

However you are simply trying to throw that on me. I have no idea why. You also came to the defense of this girl when I made a remark on her totally ridiculous ideas in the baby rape thread in Chit Chat. Why don't you ever come to the defense of anyone else on this forum?? Is she special? Oh that's right...you do own her.

You're right, I did say that. However that is by no means an insult at TKE (one at the poster of the ridiculous comments) and I don't understand how you could interpret it as such. But I do believe I clarified very fully and logically my position on TKE. I am sorry if you interpreted it in any other manner.

Okay, I guess I'll have to explain my website once more. The counter is just something I seen on the options list that I thought was cute, hell, I did that with my exboyfriends page on my site also back in the day.

And no, TKE does not 'own' me. It is an inside JOKE w/in the chapter w/some of the guys and their girlfriends. Not a big deal.

Now onto the subject of everything I say is associated w/my boyfriend. Last time I checked I didn't think many of my posts associated w/him. *shrugs* And if I did they were subjects of revelence, mostly because I use his and my friends experiences w/in their own GLO because they do not post on here. Also, I really do not believe that you have looked through my site..do you know how many pages there are on it??? It seems you have only looked at the index, info, and Dustin's page. Well, you are missing a whole lot more... *nods*

Please Rudey, enough of the TKE209stalker bashing. It's really not necessary. And PM Mama00, just because my school doesnt have tekes does not make me jealous, I have a good friend from home who's a teke, so I am not without. Also zntke711, I think rudey meant if he was a teke he would want a return on the sweetheart, not the membership.

Just wanted to say that I DID NOT sign the guestbook. Someone signed my name and said something ridiculous. I would never do anything as awful as to post such a message. Looks like whoever posted as me, posted another message as "Rudey." The messages were three minutes apart.

Quick note on the page on my site for my exboyfriend, we dated for 2 YEARS not one of those 2 weekers :p So of course I was going to have something of him on my site :) Me and Dustin will be together for a year in a couple weeks so that's why he has his own 'page' on my site :) Oh, whooever said I was in high school was kinda off the mark...I've been out for 2 years.

Ps, I love my boyfriend because he's Dustin, not a TKE, it really didn't matter if he was Greek or not, so please, some of you out there stop thinking I'm with him solely because he's a Teke.
