Wow, you have an amazing number of fabulous organizations to choose from! You are definitely going to have a terrific Recruitment experience.
Word of advice, look back at some of the old Rush threads here on GC, there is fabulous advice within them.

However I will repeat for the 1000th time, just because it is so, so true: keep and open mind and heart when you go into this process. Listen only to what your instincts and heart tell you, they will lead you to the right sisterhood for you.
And again, make sure you can actually get through each and every Rush event in your shoes...painful shoes make for a miserable rush.

Best of luck and keep us informed...I absolutely adore Rush threads, they are so exciting!!!

Good luck, I'll be sure to read along with everyone else! I've heard the greek system there is awesome, and the gamma phis I've met from the usc chapter were really cool (blatant plug! yay GPB!)

Chloe, you're going to have so much fun! I can't wait to read about your experience, I don't know much about how formal recruitment at West Coast schools. That'll make your story even more interesting to someone used to southeastern/southern recruitments!

My cousin is a senior this year at USC, and she is a Kappa there-it's so funny, she always gets so stressed out around rush time, and I have to calm her down! :D

Good Luck!! I know I will be pulling for Kappa Alpha Theta since my mom and grandmother were Thetas and there is no Sigma Kappa chapter there! I have heard that they have an awesome chapter, but I have heard that all the chapters are huge and awesome there. You are right, I think they rush like Texas does, and it sounds like you will be more prepared than most people! Have a great time, I can't wait to hear all the details=)

Wow. Sounds like you are really ready. Excellent idea to research the philanthropies, it's a really important topic.
Now I think you can just relax a bit, remember to take some time just for yourself each day to rejuvenate.

Wow! I am so excited for you...I had the opportunity to visit USC when I was in LA in October, and I was very impressed with the Greek Row there...

(Note: Chi Omega and Alpha Epsilon Phi have left the campus, but probaby knew that already! :))

Please note that while the page above does have links to the houses that are currently at USC the "Row Tour" link is outdated and still lists XO and AEF, two orgs that no longer have chapters at USC. Also, Theta's chapter house was remodeled two or three years ago and looks totally differently.

Chloe, if you prepared for UT's recruitment you should be just fine at USC. While the rushes are technically different in many ways USC's rush is very similar to many souther rushes.

You are going to be absolutely adorable! I love the outfits, especially the kitten heel shoes, I think a kitten heel is sweet and sophisticated at the same time, very Audrey Hepburn.

Just a word of caution on the clothing front, USC's rush usually takes place during one of the hottest weeks of the year and PNM's usually dress accordingly. THis year the weather has been a bit cooler in LA and some of the parties are going later in the evenings than they usually do. You might want to bring something warm that you can leave with your recruitment counselor when you go into parties or wear if you have a party off (at USC we have extra parties to accomodate all of the women rather than having 70 girls at a party so while the chpaters have 11 or 12 parties the first round the PNM's only attend 9).

You sound super prepared -- I hope you have a blast and enjoy USC Recruitment!
