If you were having a party, who from GC would be on your invitation list?

I would love to see everyone on GC at a party together. But, I would definitely have to see 33girl, OTW, Dionysus, and TigerGirl52. I love reading their posts and think that they would be interesting at a party. Also, I can't forget my DMB buddies here on GC!!!! (FHwku, prospectiverushee, SilverTurtle, Thetakates, and everyone I'm forgetting!!)

JAM, Carnation, Earp and I can be official chaperones. Pretty scary thought, huh?

Here in the land of perineal parties, I would do the gracious thing and invite all 300 of my closest, dearest GC friends.

It's the PRE-party party that counts. I will always reciprocate the invitation. (Delt Alum;) )

I will let you all ponder my list-
Equal mix of male and female.
Only those who are polished and know the niceties of conversational exchange
There must be one or more-
Golfer, for hubby. (got that out of the way)
famous (or nearly)
Controversy as in politics religion etc. for good conversation.
A variety of ages so everyone walks away with something new
Musician to casually sit down and play the piano
Jokester
The best BS around
Current events expert
Arbitrator-to calm the conversations that may get heated
A few lawyers to KEEP people from "swinging" (their fists)
People who think like ME because it IS my party!

I must throw in some people who find my cooking magnifique!
You MUST RSVP and the dress will be coat and tie. I considered formal (because I like to dress up) but many of the younger crowd would have to rent their tux and that would be inconsiderate on MY part.
The pre-party will be at my house and then we will move on to the warf at the Club.
So just LA-TEE-DA!

My Hubby added, we HAVE to have someone to fill the position of "THE BOD" Male and--------oh, OK, female applicants accepted!

Of course, all of GC would be invited. But if these people didn't show up--I'd be pissed beyond belief: AlphaGam1019 [so she can take care of me in the event I get sick], lifesaver [so I'll have a hottie by my side the whole night], Eaglechick, Hootie, carnation, greeklawgirl, DeltAlum, Tom Earp, Damasa, AXO Alum, IHE, Dionysus, CT4, 12dn94dst [I think that's how she spells it], AGDLynn, UMgirl, ALL MY ALPHA GAM SISTERS!, dzrose93 [I hafta have my partner in crime!]

All the Kappa Deltas, Delta Gammas and Kappa Alpha Thetas

Tom Earp of course, and he would get all the beer he wanted on the house. Ksigrc, ksigkid, 33girl, lilg, xok85xo, iowahawkeye, dionysus, aox81, and some others that I am forgetting right now.

I would invite everyone b/c I firmly believe in "the more, the merrier." :D

Oh, and I'd also expect for everyone to come!

JAM, I'm with you on the jacket and tie dress code - how about black tie optional? Guys who don't have a tux don't have to run out and rent one, and guys who do have a tux can wear it... there's just something about a man in a tux ;)

woo hoo! i at least got one direct invite, albeit from UFPike... who i must admit would be an interesting character to have around.

although i did get a general kd invite from DeltaSigStan- hey man, more power to the Filipino's- my roommate/little is Filipino and she kicks ass !

i have no idea who i'd invite... probably everyone.. no sense limiting ourselves. Although any hot guys would be more than welcome. I need some new men in my life!

well, since it would be a gc party..i would imagine all of gc would be invited..but..the people i'd would personally want to be there are:

damasa, hootie, thrillhouse,arya, amycat, dwalphagam and of course, sigmachicard

I would invite all the LCA's on the board, hootie b/c shes the closest and would have the easiest time finding the place, tigergirl52 so she can see nebraska, oohteenywahine b/c ive never met anyone from hawaii and she seems like shed be interesting to talk to and of course, anyone else that wants to come :)
