Reading the thread I miss the pre-social media Greek Chat made me start thinking of GC people who haven't been seen in a while, and wondering what happened to them. Written correctly, it could make an interesting novella of sorts! I've kept up with some on Facebook, but really try not to friend everyone on the planet - which doesn't mean that I don't get curious!

I was particularly wondering about Peaches-n-Cream, BillyMac, MysticCat,
texas*princess, ADqtPiMel, GeekyPenguin, and of course, the author of the infamous Pink Sequined Hose thread!

I would have added NutBrnHair, but she recently reappeared. Happy Birthday, Nut!

I'm feeling a little lonely in the IFC corner of GC.

GC was a lot of fun in the early 2000's. Still a useful tool today but man... the glory days were from 2000-2005ish

I wonder what happened to most of the Harem - they made GC really fun in the early-mid 2000s.

I miss OTW.

I am FB friends with a couple of the missing GCers and they're fine! OTW has 2 children, a husband, and a satisfying job. Breathesgelatin also has a child and is working at a large university.

Breathesgelatin is a chapter sister of my daughter...I think the last time she posted was in my daughter's recruitment story. Now my daughter graduated, too. Time really flies.

I miss cheerfulgreek and MysticCat. And Chuck Norris.

Good to hear good news about those who have moved on, in any way!

I hear an infamous former (now-banned) member on the radio fairly often. One of the stations I listen to plays syndicated news updates from her network a few times a day, and she usually does the ones around lunchtime. Totally threw me the first time I heard her!

I don't post too often anymore. But, I miss TLD221. And, Susan314 (I think was her username).

Susan314 was an Alpha Gam who lived near me- I've wondered what happened to her too and can't remember her real name!

How about Brandi Rae, the pageant queen/KD perp? She also inspired this memorable thread.

Also, the poster who went through recruitment (I think multiple times), got dropped from recruitment, and then started collecting rituals of the sororities on her campus (and got busted by another GCer who found her posting in a ritual collectors group). I can't remember who it was - anyone remember?

Not intending to hijack this thread, but in addition to all the former colorful GC characters, the GC "scandals and busts" were also very exciting to follow a great deal of the time.

Ocalagirl just came up in conversation recently. YIKES!!!!

And the ADPi/Phi Mu perp? Double YIKES!!

Another scandal the lady who claimed she was rushing but then said something to draw attention to herself and was called out because GC sleuths found her IRL through her online cosmetics business. Then she tried to come back again under a different name and wanted to share an AI journey. Am I remembering all that right???

I was going to check in on texas*princess' Facebook but looks like she deactivated it. Dang. I'll have to call her and make sure she's good.

I really wish Pink Sequined Hose (or Pantyhose) would come back and finish her story ... or let me know if I solved the mystery!

One summer four years ago, Delta Chi/GC poster XAntoftheSkyX had a summer job working with the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps.

'Ant' posted a thread called XAntX is going on tour! and listed dates and cities the Corps would visit. Ant mentioned he wanted to possibly meet-up with willing GCers along the route, just PM him.

Did anyone still here meet him IRL?

(Ironically, Ant's most recent GC post was the day my cat died 2-19-15 and his stats show 1666 total posts :eek:)
