I'm not sure if Miss Maryland is still a member in good standing. Perhaps a Zeta can confirm.
|
She is not being mentioned on the ZTA FB page.
|
^ same with Miss West Virginia for Alpha Xi

Thanks for the info on Miss 52!

FWIW, the Marshall AXiD page mentions her as an alum of the chapter and shared an article about her, so they seem to think she was still in good standing? I can't figure out how to link an individual post but it's from October 21st, 2015 when she was crowned Miss West Virginia USA. |
I have it on good authority that there are only 2 Zetas in the competition. Miss Maryland is no longer a member in good standing.

Ah okay, awesome! I hadn't seen that. But she did make it into the Top 15 so far!

|
Remaining NPC women in the Top 10
Miss Alabama, Peyton Brown - University of Alabama, Chi Omega Miss Missouri - Sydnee Stottlemyre, University of Missouri - Kappa Kappa Gamma So sad West Virginia didn't make it into the Top 10, but still so proud to have her in the Top 15! |
Miss DC and Miss Alabama are the only Greek women left!
|
Oooof California's answer was awful, and Georgia's wasn't so good either.
DC had the best answer IMO. I don't think they should've been allowed to ask Hawaii who she's voting for. Question round for me: DC Alabama/Hawaii Georgia California |
Agree that California bombed hers and DC did best. Didn't like Hawaii's question either. I called the top three in a text conversation just now so I'm feeling bold and guessing that Hawaii will win followed by DC and then Georgia.
|
I just feel like Georgia didn't answer the question.
I'm guessing DC, Hawaii, Georgia Waaaayyyyy too many commercials and dragging this out though. This should've been 2 hours max. ETA: LOL the hosts having to defend the questions.... |
Best final answers
Georgia DC Hawaii Not sure who will take the crown |
Man, I feel like we can vote for everything in this! No wonder it's taking so long. Also loving Backstreet Boys, they were my childhood favorites and I definitely did karaoke to this song at a bar a few weeks ago:)
|
Agreed, best part of the whole show is the Backstreet Boys!
|
I called Georgia in third! Still feeling good about my Hawaii pick for top but we'll see!
|
Well Miss DC was also fantastic and she's Greek as well so I'm happy with her winning!

Not only is she gorgeous, she is also very accomplished.
They were all beautiful, but IMO her poise and the way she handled herself got her the crown. She will be a wonderful representative of the USA! |

My FB has at least one thread where military wives are up in arms about the winner flaunting her service, "she's only a reservist". Blah blah blah. I can't stand people sometimes. Most times.

Military wives complaining about the beautiful, smart and accomplished Army officer? <snort> OK then. Let's forget about her being "only a reservist". I bet she's got some fluffy, lightweight job, right? What's that? She's an IT analyst for the U.S. Department of Commerce? Oh..... Ok....so, her civilian job is legit, but I bet her charitable "platform" is dumb. She says she wants to bring awareness to the PTSD and health issues veterans face when they return from combat? Hrm...can't get her on that either. What are these people hating on? You go, girl!!! (And props to Sigma Gamma Rho!) |
