Girls with cowboy hats
What's with the girls who wear backless shirts and cowboy hats? I saw a few in the airport and thought they were way hot. Is this a big trend in some places? Do they always wear the hats everywhere?
-Rudey |
it was a trend like, a year to a year and a half ago
|
was a trend 3 years ago in L.A.
|
*sigh* L.A.-----I can't wait till i go out there. Two friends of mine just moved out there. They both got Jobs with Lockheed Martin.
They already have some crazy stories for me. They say shit is insane out there ( the night life). I'm actually kinda scared, I might go out there and not come back. One story involves them not sleeping for 3 days, is that hard to believe? |

-Rudey --I always loved using the word macho. |
Um, no thanks. I'm really not into exploiting my body (or having it exploited by others mind you) and having male chauvanists scrutinize me .....
I only posted that because I thought the pic was a little risque on here. *NO offense to whoever posted it:) Besides, I can judge how big my "snack tray" is myself....don't need your help. Thanks though for the offer! Ivory -The word "macho" always reminds me of my frend who used to wear his underwear on the outside of his pants and wear around a cape saying he was a "macho" man.....whatever that means |

RC -"Snack Tray"? That's goddamned hysterical --why are we all copying Rudey? I like it |
Oh, this was when we were 5 or 6...
Not in the near past!!! |
No offense to anyone who wears one...
but is there anyone else out there like me who doesn't consider a hat a 'cowboy' hat if it's leopard print? I mean, to me, a cowboy hat is either straw or black felt, not animal print. Whenever i see a girl in a leopard print hat it makes me think of Davy Crockett's worst nightmare. Plus, you all know what they say about girls who wear animal print ;) Kitso KS 361 |
Umm... the backless shirts, party clothes and cowboy hats was very "Coyote Ugly" and was definitely a few years back...

If anyone is in Chicago, you can go to a bar that was designed by the Coyote Ugly set designer called Hoggs and Hunnies. It's pretty popular lately. -Rudey --I like animal print...it makes me feel macho! |

Ummm, cowboy hats do not come in various animal prints and bright colors. I totally agree. MichelleAXiD, where do you go to school? I ask because I am an AXiD in Texas.

ROFL
James? NOT a macho pig? Oh dear! Are we talking about the same James? James, you know I love ya kid, but macho is a word that does in fact describe you. Rudey, I haven't seen you post enough to make a judgement on that so I'll hold back. But for James, the term applies. Quote:

Rudey, I guess I will have to endorse your machoness! Lemonade with a straw huh? Well that is still considered macho. It only becomes UNmacho if you use a cute little umbrella. -librasoul --will not vouch for James machoness at the risk of fueling his ego ;) |

Coyote Ugly was loosely based on an article that recounted the experiences of one of the girls at the real bar in New York (published in GQ in 1993)... Hogs & Heifers (another bar in NYC) also served as basis for some material.

In Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma, cowboy hats on cowgirls will NEVER go out of style. I don't know anything about backless shirts to know one way or the other, but the hats have been here and will always be here.

It's a necessary thing at the bar scene.. Although I don't personally own one it's a very common thing here in Oklahoma. |
