I am .5 seconds away from buying my ticket because it's under 200.00 right now!

Is everyone going for fun, or as a VL? This will be my first time going as a VL; I was a delegate for my first Convention in 2014.

Right on!!! What is your VL position? $200? Are you talking about your reg fees or your airline ticket?

RC-Panhellenic for Region 5. My airline ticket is 165! Way cheaper than my flight to Seattle :D

I know someone who applied...I haven't touched base with her this past week to see if she was picked. I know she had a Skype interview last week.

Convention registration has sold out!

Whoa!! I didn't even know that was possible.

ETA: My friend/Convention roomie was selected for Take a Stand facilitator training, so she'll be arriving early.

2nd ETA: This will be #7 for me.

A friend of mine told me that it was because of capacity. As an RC, I am now concerned about collegiate chapter delegates who did not register before the deadline.

Thank goodness I've registered - I'll be bunking with my little, catiebug.

It goes without saying that we need a GC picture . . . :)

Any ideas on when we should take a GC picture?

Venue capacity was definitely the issue. I know the hotel space sold out early too and some attendees have had to book at adjacent properties.

We were told on one of our calls that the Confirmed Conventioners dinner will be different this year as seating is not all together because of the venue layout. Also there are some materials that cannot be used on hats as the venue prohibits them (glitter and feathers were the two I wrote down).

I can't believe I leave in less than ten days!

Well, I'm not at Convention, but my Facebook feed blew up last night with the news that I received Honorable Mention for the Beatrice Locke Hogan Panhellenic Award! What an honor! I wish I'd been there to accept in person, but my friends and sisters accepted on my behalf and took lots of pictures for me! So excited!

It was nice to meet both of you. I'm sure I met (or already know) others of you... I've been successful at matching at least some handles here up with the folks I know IRL. 😉
