Who's rushing this fall/next spring??

I was just curious to see how many GC'ers are rushing this year... and if you wouldn't mind telling us where you are rushing and when it starts. (Recruitment is so exciting!!! :) )

Carnation Twin 1 and Carnation Twin 2! And I would make them post this themselves but they're off being camp counselors! They will rush at Valdosta State in 2 weeks.:)

We rush sophomores and Juniors in fall and then freshman in Winter

I will be rushing at the University of Southern California this fall. My first rush event is an info meeting on August 25th, and then actual formal rush starts August 29th going through September 3rd.
USC has such a VERY large Greek system and from what I have been told, rush is "like a large Southern rush, only trendier" Last year 650 girls rushed 9 sororites and around 425 or so got bids I believe.
The sororities at my school are:
Alpha Chi Omega
Alpha Delta Pi
Alpha Phi
Delta Delta Delta
Delta Gamma
Gamma Phi Beta
Kappa Alpha Theta
Kappa Kappa Gamma
Pi Beta Phi

Heya! I'm rush this fall too. UT rush starts on August 17 I think....and I get there on the 16th. I'm super excited but gettin nervous too!

I'll be rushing this fall, at the University of Wisconsin. I think rush starts on September 9th and goes through the 22nd, although I could be wrong. We have Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Epsilon Phi, Alpha Phi, Chi Omega, Tri Delt, Delta Gamma, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Pi Beta Phi and Sigma Delta Tau.

I don't know anybody in the Greek system there so I don't have a clue what rush is like, but since Greeks are only about 4 percent of the school's population, I'm assuming it's not too crazy.

I'm glad that so many of you guys have earlier rush -- that way I'll be able to learn from your experiences before I have mine!

I will be rushing this fall at the University of Iowa. Recruitment is a week before school begins. I move in the 19th, and the first Greek Life meeting is that night, and the rush parties start Tuesday bright and early. :) Rush then runs through the 25th. I believe at Iowa the percentage of Greeks is like 11%-15%, but I'm not sure. The sororites at Iowa are:
Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Epsilon Phi, Alpha Phi, Alpha Xi Delta, Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma,
Delta Sigma Theta, Delta Zeta, Gamma Phi Beta,
Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Pi Beta Phi,
Sigma Gamma Rho, Sigma Lambda Gamma, Zeta Phi Beta,
Zeta Tau Alpha

I'm thinking of doing a rush thread myself but I'm not sure if I will have my computer hooked up or even have access that first week, but I'd like to do one.

I will be rushing this fall at Northeastern State and rush starts the 26th of August!!!!

If I can get a job, I'll be rushing the ZTA colony at KU. The colony's recruitment (which is after formal rush) will start September 17th.

I'll be rushing at Penn State! I think it starts in September! :D

I'm rushing UofA-Fayetteville this fall...august 17th to be exact! i can't wait!

I'm rushing in about three weeks at University of Idaho. So far I'm really nervous and just sorta excited. I hope I get into a good fraternity!

Just a wee bit of Rush advice....
 

Make sure you have recs before you go thru rush -- they are a must! You can check with the local alumnae panhellenic association where you live and get their help securing recs. Good Luck & have fun!:)

I will be rushing at the University of Tulsa this fall. Rush begins on Aug. 27-30. We have six sororities: Chi O, Tri Delt, KD, Kappa, Theta, and DG. I can't wait:D

Just want to wish everyone good luck!!!! Be yourself and go to a house that you feel comfortable in not something you want to be in.....

For some reason I find myself spending countless amounts of time reading girls' recruitment stories!

Recruitment is coming up for us starting the 23rd of August and I'm getting excited about meeting all the new girls! Try to channel any nervous feelings into excitement, if any of you girls rushing this fall are starting to feel it :) Maybe that's easier said than done, but in any case I wish you all the best of luck!!

We have recruitement the week of sept.9th. I am so excited. We are expecting the largest group of girls ever to go through rush this year.

1. The NPC position is that it is the responsiblity of the chapter to secure letters of introduction if they are required.

2. Not all chapters and/or universities require letters of introduction.

I am rushing at UF this fall!!!

I'm rushing at Oklahoma State. I move into the dorms on August 8 and rush begins on the 9th, I'm so excited. There are 11 chapters.
