;) Out of curiosity....who are your favorite two sororities and fraternaties at your school. I'm refering to the ones you get excited about when you plan things together and are the funnest to party with.

My two favorite fraternities are Kappa Sigma (because all my best guy friends are there, and they have GREAT parties!) and Delta Sigma Phi (because they just got their charter back, and they rocked greek week this past spring!). My two favorite sororities are ZTA (they're great girls and so much fun to be around, and i'll be rushing their chapter in the fall [informal]!) and Chi Omega (because a lot of the girls are involved in campus orgs that I am, and my roomie for this upcoming year was just initiated this past spring). :)

Kappa Sig & Delta Chi for the fraternities, for sure. I'm a Phi Mu, so my two favorite sororites (other than mine!) are Tri Sigma and the Alpha Gams.

My two favorite Fraternities are Phi Kappa Theta(b/c my b/f is one and all the guys are soo fun to hang out with and they have the best turnouts at their parties and always make it interesting).Sigma Nu is another fraternity that I like cause the guys are pretty cool and they were the first ones I met when I rushed.
The two sororites I like are DZ and ZTA cause I have good friends in both and we support eachother during Greek Events,more then the other 3 at my school.

But I really get along with these girls..I think their Chi-O's..Their laidback COO Chickies..:p

My personal 2 favorite fraternities that I love to do stuff with are Kappa Sig and Delta Sig. The 2 sororities I hang out with most now are Chi Omega and Delta Gamma (2 complete opposites)

Umm... the fraternities one is kinda hard, b/c I like different fraternities for different reasons, but I'd have to say Sigma Chi and Sig Ep, because they party at the same pace I do (whatever that means!) and KD's my other favorite sorority.... I'd have to say I like the rest of the sororities equally, though I have DZ's all the time tell me I'm "DZ at heart." No, really... I'm DG at heart. That's why I'm DG. No offense, of course!:)

my collegiate doesn't plan things w/ other sororities, as far as fraternities, at least when I was active (i just graduated 5/01), I would have to say I enjoyed my time w/ the following frats, I really can't decide which was most fun (well I could ;) )

I am part of a local sorority so my fav. national sororities that i tend to root on at events and have friends in are Phi Sig and ADPi. SOme are in Sigma Kappa too.
Fraternities... hmm... that's tough... cuz there are a few i like. ZBT is cool cuz they are smaller and I have a lot of friends in that colony. Delta Chi is good too cuz without them... I wouldn't have a sorority :) But Sig Eps are nice guys all around.

I love the Delta Gammas at my school. Although we are always in competition for rush, don't think that my DG girlfriends and I didn't spend the night at eachother's apartments after bid day to laugh at eachother's rush faux paux's. Fun, beautiful, intelligent women.

I love hanging out with the Alpha Chi's as well. Of course, it's a completely different story during NPC sports. Those girls are VICIOUS. But aside from that, dedicated, easy going girls. One of my best friends is an Alpha Chi and I would tell her things I wouldn't even tell my own sisters.

Sigma Chi and Pike get my votes as a chapter. They all uphold the values of their fraternity and are gentlemen at every corner. Individually, Delta Sigs are some hysterical guys. Rather pugnacious and incredibly elitist, but dynamic nonetheless.

What, you ladies don't like hanging out with the Pikes?

We just don't know Pikes!

At my own school, we loved to hang out with Theta Chi and Alpha Chi Rho. Although we had KICK ASS mixers with Theta Chi at another school and Phi Kappa Psi at another. As for sororities, well, we didn't do much mixing with them, but I had friends in ASA and Phi Sig, so I"d say those.

My favorite fraternities at my school would be ATO and Kappa Sig, because I'm dating an ATO and him and his brothers are the greatest, I just feel so comfortable with them. The Kappa Sigs are alot of fun and they hang out with ATOs alot too.
My favorite sororities besides Pi Phi are Kappa and DG. I have many friends who are Kappas and they are so sweet. My old roomate was a DG and she was the best roomie ever. I'm going to miss her this year!

Actually, Mr. Pike, the funny thing is that our ATC (advisor) keeps asking us why we won't do homecoming with Pike's because they're so wonderful at UT (where she's from). It's not that we have anything against them, it's just kind of against panhell rules to mix with a fraternity that doesn't have a charter.:)

i don't like any other fraternity than mine, and my 2 favorite sororities are which ever ones are being the skankiest at the time

Ok, i take it nobody likes Pi Kapps, oh well. My favorite sorority is AGD and Phi Sig, sorry to the others but thats all we have.

as for other sororities... i guess i would say alpha phi and adpi... the a phis were my 2nd choice and the adpi's are just sweet girls

Actually, I like the Pi Kapps... They were always some of the nicest guys on campus when I was in school. :)

i met some usc pi kapps though at one of their parties and they were pretty cool (although i dont remember much of the party...)

an old friend of mine from high school is a pi kapp at usc, i went to a basketball camp in high school at USD, you have a long skinny campus right?

my campus is basically one road with buildings on either side... its small but its so beautiful! i love it

yeah i remember it, my team stayed in the dorms, and we went up to the big building to eat in the cafeteria, and i remeber the gym was by the pool, your school is nice , i like it.

yeah the sc pikapp party was AWESOME! it was winter themed and they had a snow machine in the front yard and there was snow everywhere and the entire inside of the house was decorated like a ice cave! it was badass, but the snow turned to ice-y slush after a while and that is never good with a bunch of drunk kids with jungle juice!!

Well, as a former Rose Queen and soon to be wife of a Pi Kapp, I would have to say they are my favorite. But then they were the best fraternity on our campus anyway. My other fav to party with was either Phi Delt or Phi Psi. For sororities, I was friends with tons of Tri-Delts and Kappas.

Well congrats, on being a rose queen and getting a pi kapp to settle down. Thats so cool to here, good luck with everything.

This is soooooo hard to choose considering there are 30 fraternities and 15 sororities on my campus!!! :)
But I think I have narrowed it down to:
Lambda Chi Alpha (they're awesome guys)
and
Pikes (they're our waiters and we love 'em! :)

Adpi (they're just too sweet)
and
Alpha Chi Omega

And you know of course I am biased towards KD! :)

I'd have to say for fraternities it's Kappa Sig and Sigma Chi.
For sororities, we always have fun hanging out with the KD's.

I would have to say that my two favorite fraternities are...
-FIJI: Totally nice, fun, adorable guys! SOOOOO fun to hang out with, I love them!
-Alpha Kappa Lambda: Yummm, so hot! And fun parties, nice guys too! ;)

As for sororities it's kind of hard to pick since for the most part we usually just do things with other fraternities, but I do like...
-Theta: Very awesome girls, smart, fun, nice
-Kappa: Very classy girls I have several friends who are Kappa's and they love it!

My fave fraternities are SIGMA PI-- love them, and SAE.
there are only five sororities on my campus. Our house didn't do anything with them. I like a select few out of all the houses. But there is not one sorority as a whole that I like so that is why i won't name them.

Besides MY fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi, I have really good experiences with Phi Kappa Psi. Also, I really like a lot of the National programs that the Pikes have. They are real aggressive with improving their chapters in every way and recognize those that do well.

I have a lot of friends in AGD and Gamma Phi Beta.

KDAmbular: i have the opposite problem!!!! there are only four sororities and four chartered fraternities so how could i pick two and leave out one or two? :)

in the past i would have definitely said that theta's and adpi's are most often seen together, but more recently we've been starting to spend some more time with the kappas and axos.... we have quite a few panhellenic houses/roommates this coming year... i honestly could not choose for myself because i know some amazing and special women from each chapter.

as for fraternities, i can say without a doubt that we spend the most time with the delts and of the sisters dating fraternity guys the majority are delts... though depending on the day of the week i'm sure certain sisters' "favorites" could change to sae, ox, or phipsi :D personally i know more delts and saes than oxs (since they reorganized) or phipsis (love ya davi-ka;))

randomly, i think that nationally, maybe my faves of those on campus might be kappa and phipsi, for their values, etc.

HEY! I'm so glad to see other people lovin' PHI KAPPA THETA because they are my absolute all time favorite fraternity! They joke about charging me rent, but really... I don't live there, I'm just engaged to one of them :D But seriously, they have the best parties and are always doing something cool!

As for another fraternity around here that I really like... well, that is sort of a tough call because I don't really get "excited" about going to events for them. Actually, wait--I haven't heard anybody get excited about ALPHA PHI ALPHA yet--but they are just DAMN COOL here and I love going to their events like step shows and stuff--absolutely ALWAYS a good time! :cool:

As for sororities, the only two here besides the ever-so-awesome Chi Omega are Kappa Delta and Zeta Tau Alpha, but they are good groups of gals so that's not a problem to say they're my other favorites :)

As fraternities go, I have to say that Kappa Sig and KA are my favorites at VSU. I have the most friends in Kappa Sig. They're fun and not so obnoxious. BUT, they both have lots of awesome guys that are so sweet!

My favorite sorority, of course, is Phi Mu! My 2nd choice would be Theta, but we don't have them at VSU. My 2nd second favorite is a tie. I think the XO's at VSU have the best spirit. They seem to be a really happy, close group of girls. My other choice I guess is KD. Their girls are really sweet and fun to hang out with.

Lil_ChiO, do you go to U of H ? It sounds like you do. I just graduated from there.

My favorite fraternities at my school changed during my time in the greek system. When I pledged (spring 98), I liked Phi Kap and NEVER missed a Phi Kap Friday! Then I got to be really good friends with some DU's, and then started dating one, who I just married in June, so DU has to be my fave. I also kinda like Sigma Nu. They have some nice guys.

As for sororities, I don't know that I have favorites...I was on Panhel exec so I got to be friends with girls from other sororities, so picking one would be hard! I think DG would be one of my favorites, with Chi O and Phi Mu tying for second. DG because they are truly down to earth and just plain good spirited and fun, Chi O because that chapter has some of the most sincere people I have met outside of my sorority and Phi Mu because they have a dedicated sisterhood and they work hard.

ivysis: My sister was Pi Kapp rose queen and is married to one, now, too!
