Boule 2004: Nashville...Sorors?
I noticed in our Boule 2000 thread, Soror DG started the thread after the '00 Boule. So I figured, why not continue with the tradition? ;)
Boule 2002 is said and done, now let's look towards the future. If there are changes you would like to see, get yourself to (chapter meetings, Leadership, Clusters, RC) and ultimately to Nashville and be the change agent. There is no time like the PRESENT to get ready for that journey. Hopefully, if it is in HIS plan I'll be there as a non-delegate.. :D |

Nashville will be my phirst Boule', and I am SO excited!! One of my LS's is there as well as a good soror friend. We are already making plans of what to do, lol! :) I want to be a delegate since it's my phirst Boule'! I agree, soror 2D, there is no time like the present.
So, sorors, who all is planning on going? |
Boule-bound in my last few months of 30hood.
I plan to be there. :D
I've started a savings account, and will be depositing money every paycheck. 2004 will be a big year in terms of conference travel for me -- besides Boule, there is the Unity journalism conference. And birthday No. 40. :p On the delegate issue, I wouldn't mind because I know I will be at a hotel. I did FWRC while staying at my mother's house, and it kicked my butt physically. One of our chapter Sorors said I appeared ready to pass out -- and it was only Friday. |
I'll be there!!!
Boule 2004 will be my Phirst Boule as well and I can hardly wait!
I am a resident of Nashville aka Titan Town USA and I positive we will have a skeeliteful time in da'Ville!! Theta Eta Omega Chapter Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Spring '02 The Timid Two SKEEE WEEE!! |
|
I will definatley be in Nashville!!! It will be my first Boule and I hope that I will be a delegate. Keep your fingers crossed!
|
Boule' 2004 will also be my first Boule'. I am honestly excited. I also plan on reactivating in the grad chapter here the end of this year. Having Boule' in Orlando (which is 45 minutes away from me) and not being able to go was a little upsetting to me. And from all of the good news on how great it went...I want to be apart of the next Boule'.
|
Nothing.. and I do mean nothing is going to keep me away from Boule 2004. LOL... really though. I was SO disappointed I couldn't get to Orlando, but this time I'ma have my stuff together, I promise. Special savings account sounds like a good idea...
|
I' ve been to regional conferences--but never to Boule---2004 is my year!!!!
(GOD willing, of course):) |
Yep, I'll be there. I haven't missed an area, regionals, or boule since I was made. But who's going to kick it with me at Leadership in VEGAS next year?!?!?!? Anybody else going?
|
New Soror to the Ave.

After that, I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay on AKA Ave. :D |
since i have a bit of a streak going ('96, '98, a day at '00,'02, oh and '80), i think i'll be in Nashville. Orlando was fabulous. i was a delegate and i'm glad i did it. watching our Sisterhood at work was great. seeing the Silver/Golden/Diamond sorors sportin' their crowns renewed my love for AKA and my desire to never walk away from the Sorority. i better get my AKA acct. going. i plan to to Vegas for
Leadership and Nashville. it adds up:eek: but it's all worth it:D |
Leadership
I think I'll skip Vegas (hopefully going in September ;) ) and catch Leadership in the Bahamas...NOW THAT'S A BETTER TRIP!
 |
hmmm. Vegas, maybe I can make it there too!!!

I'm hoping to be in the number...
Right now, I'm saying that my tax refund for this year (Lord, willing) will be banked to be used for Boule 2004! So, while I don't post on here much...I'd love to finally meet some, if not all of y'all!:)
|
TTT
I'm still planning on being there. Sorors? :)
|
me, too. i have a Boule streak going that i'd rather not break. plus, i can drive down so it'll cost less. ditto for Detroit:D
|
I'd like to go, I was in a wedding last summer so I couldn't go. Regionals is here in Houston next year so that willbe great. I better start now with Boule plans.
|
I started early!!!
I started my vacation club in May so that I wouldn't feel the "crunch". So far, so good...the $$$$ are growing.:D
|

HOWEVER, my school is planning a trip to London, Paris, and Barcelona next June. You KNOW I"m itching to take that trip as a chaperone. :p IF I go abroad, I'll have to skip Boule. I STILL WANT MY COLLECTORS MEDALLION THOUGH. :D |
FYI- For those going to Nashville:
You can make your reservations at the host hotel now. :D $137 and $167 a night... |
Im SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited, this will be my first Boule. My LS's and I are ready to represent our 20 pearls.

Gathering
My South Central Sorors --
I'd be happy to host a Greekchat Gathering for Regionals (I'm just reading this thread). I would say let's do it at my house, but my home is all the way out in Humble -- a north Suburb (hey you get more house for your money in the Burbs :D ) Let me know if any other Houston Sorors would liek to put something together. Due to my job, I don't get out too much. Also, if you know of any company that needs an attorney and/or a CPA, let me know. I could definitely USE a new J-O-B! Have a wonderful, blessed day..... |

Who is putting together the GC Boule Gathering? |
***Running around in my pink and green***
My first Boule as a Soror, My first Boule as a Soror!!!!
I cannot hardly wait!!!!! I'm trying to save but something always comes up, but I will have the funds to go. I am sooooooooo excited. This will be my first as a soror!!! I went to one a long long long time ago in Cali, when I was ten years old. Since I was 10 and Disneyland, Universal Studios, etc. was there, my aunt (who is a soror), asked my dad and me if we wanted to go since we were both off for summer break. I was only ten years old and I was soooo excited that I was going to see Mickey Mouse and how movies were made that I did not notice that there was this HUGE Boule going on. Can you believe it?? I must have been blinded by my excitement. It was not until YEARS later when my aunt was preparing to go to another Boule and she mentioned that Cali trip to me. I was like no, I have never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, been to a Boule...then she took out the pictures of my standing under a HUGE welcome sign. I felt sooooo dumb and she continues to laugh at me to this day. |
Sorors,
I'm on the Boule Invitation committee. We are working on a dynamite presentation for Nashville to get everyone excited about attending Boule 2006 in my hometown of Detroit,Mi. Now if they let me off work I will definitely be in Nashville. If not I cordially invite you all to Boule 2006 in Detroit. Skee-yah! Soror Dancerella Pi Tau Omega |
If ALL remains the same or better, I'm going to Detroit in 2006. (I"m trying to make all of the Conferences through '08.) :o ;)
|
Just finished checking out Boule information on the National website. I got so excited that I e-mailed my line sisters to see if they had started making plans to go!
I see that it's gonna be shorter than the usual 7-8 days, which is probably not a bad thing. I might have to beg to get time off (we generally begin Fall registration mid-July) but the itinerary is full of activities! |
I am really excited!! It's my first Boule! It's my hometown! What more can I say. I'm ready. And even though I could stay at home with my mom, I am getting a room in the hotel just because it is so FAB-U-LUS. But they are trying to break a sista, I just sent in my money for Regional. I am a lowly Med student. I can't afford all these elaborate vacations:o .
|
Then I guess you are hosting or collaborating to host the GC Boule Gathering. :D
