greeks in VA
Are there any greeks in VA? I see and hear none.....
|
We're in VA, really we are!! I have found a bunch right here in Fredericksburg, and I even teach with two of my sisters, a DG and an Alpha Gam.
However...I have found, it's harder to find the GLO stickers on cars with all the OBX ovals everywhere. :) |
I am a ZTA at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. :D ZTA
|
We do exist, I promise...I'm a G Phi at CNU
|
Yup, we're here. The NoVA Chapter of DZ has over 65 members and there are over 2,000 DZ alumnae living within 20 miles of Washington DC in VA. But as far as Greek chatters? Well, I guess I count. LOL.:D

I have one of those oval stickers with a Delta and a Zeta symbol on it. I thought it was cool because when I was a kid and lived in Germany, those were the stickers we had to put on our cars that said what country we were from. Ours was USA :) Wish I still had one of those! I kind of like them...it's always fun to try and figure out what the letters stand for. Better than staring at the dashboard in traffic

I know what the OBX stickers are. I liked what the European stickers were. But living in Virginia Beach, which is two hours away from the Outer Banks, I am overdosed on OBX stickers. Now everyone from high schools to nursing homes have them. Too much of a good thing is old.

legacypbs,
I am glad to see that there are more Monarchs on GC! :D Rumors are that there is going to be a step show with the NPHC and NPC groups next semester. I can't wait. ZTABullwinkle |
I'm hoping so. You guys did an excellent job w/ my sorors & as NPHC President I'm pushing for it.
|
ZTAMelissa~ I'm pretty sure you're talking about being a Rho Chi? If I'm wrong please correct me....and if so, I'm sure that you ladies will do a wonderful job! By the way, your chapter at Mason has some of the most awesome girls. I just want to say job well done, you all come out and support everyone on campus!:D
|
ZTAMelissa ~ I am going to be a Rho Chi at ODU this semester also. Good luck with recruitment.
|
I am indeed talking about being a rho chi, but we've decided to change the name to Rho Gamma in light of the nat'l org who is already using Rho Chi. Thanks for the support ChiOqt! We try our best and we appreciate the support that Chi Omega has shown us. Bullwinkle, I got ya on my buddy list, my SN is SthrnSerendipity, so IM me anytime!

Proud son of Virginia! :D
Though I've since moved away due to work I still love Virginia and return as often as I am able. To me there is no place more wonderful than the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, you just don't fully appreciate it until life pulls you away. "To be a Virginian either by Birth, Marriage, Adoption, or even on one's Mother's side, is an Introduction to any State in the Union, a Passport to any Foreign country and a Benediction from Above." |
I'm a Virginia ASA girl from Roanoke College!

I understand the 'Outer Banks" are the islands on the far eastern shores of North Carolina. |
Outerbanks also includes Nags Head, etc that are mainland beaches.
Osterreich, Meain Eastern Country, or Empire. Because there was Holy Roman Empire, and Austria was different, so was the Eastern Empire. |
