Favorite Burger
I really love hamburgers...but Im kind of pickie. I want them to be grilled and have tons of yummy seasoning. hmmm yummy just thinkin' about them makes me hungry.
|
Unfortunately I'm not much of a burger eater anymore. I haven't been able to eat a burger from the popular fastfood restaurants in years. There was a local chain in my hometown, it was called Halo Burger, and I used to be able to eat there all the time. Ketchup and pickles...that's it!
|
Boca burgers!
|
OHHHH BURGERS :)
I love burgers...actually I just tried those new Back Porch Grillers from Burger King. Those things rock! They are better than some of the other burger they have out there. The burger is made with two smaller patties and they season it...not sure with what but its good. You should try one, and if you know of any other good burger places let me know...im always willing to try something new :D

My fav is an ortega burger - 1/4 lb patty with a big ortega chile on top. Yum. :)

On occasion when I want some real meat, I love Spangles Gourmet Supreme (Spangles is a fast food chain in kansas). YUM!! |
I'm hungry
Nothing better than a ground sirloin burger, expertly grilled to medium-rare, with garlic fries on the side.
My favorite toppings include bacon and grilled onions. I don't eat cheese, mustard, mayo, tomatoes or lettuce on my burgers. Wolfgang Puck Cafe makes a great burger -- I may be headed there today -- it's payday. |
i'm so traditional when it comes to hamburgers...
i like them with lettuce, tomato, cheese, picked, mayo, mustard and ketchup. the only time i stray is at Carl's jr. where i will get a western bacon cheese burger. |
To quote the great JB...
"I like mine with lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 and french fried potatoes. Big kosher pickle and a cold draft beer, well good God Almighty, which way do I steer for my cheeseburger in paradise? Medium rare with mustard'd be nice."
Well, except for the tomato and mustard, that's how I like mine. Almost just like Jimmy Buffett! :D |

White Castle! Those are the ONLY burgers I eat.

Mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, onion, extra veggies. NO PICKLES! Some nice seasoned fries on the side, yum! There is an awesome place here called Wallbangers. The burgers come in 1/2 lb orders and you serve your own veggies - I think I may just go there for dinner! :)
|
There's a place by me called Backyard Burgers. It's a fast food burger place except they use Angus beef. That way, you're reassured that you're getting the good part of the cow and not the eyeballs or intestines. Their burgers are sooooo good!
|
Ohhh... now I'm hungry... :)
I make my own burgers - medium rare on the grill. I mix seasonings and some A-1 into the beef - they come out nice and juicy. When I was in school, I used to eat at a burger place in Harvard Square (I'm blanking on the name) that makes really good burgers. They had several unusual offerings, mostly named after celebrities... the only one I can remember offhand is the Madonna burger, which is topless! (no top bun) |
A lot of my friends think its gross but I really enjoy it when a restaurant puts blue cheese on their burgers.
|
HKiss, where are you getting these bugers at?
Paddys Burger Shack in KC Ks the old fassion way grill not other crap! When are we and the few other GCers going to get together? Prefer Pork Tender and Schrooms! No Onions as may get lucky and kiss a lady! Ha, Not likley! I make some Bugers that will make you froth at the moth, the cheese is inside the burger! HK when do ya want to come over?:) |
On the West Coast, we have a place called In-and-Out Burgers. Their meat is always fresh, never frozen, and they have fresh cut french fries. The best meal is a Double-Double with cheese, fries and a chocolate shake! And when I am in Los Angeles, nothing beats Fatburger (Isn't that right you So. Cal people???):)

Cheese INSIDE the burger????? That sounds good! |

Now as for Fatburger, I'm only a turkeyburger eater there, w/my favorite onions and bacon as the topping.:p BTW, Fatburger is owned by Earvin Johnson, a multimillionaire businessman PKA "Magic." |
The best burger chain is Fudruckers. Period.
Back home we have this local place called Scotties. It's an old style drive-in, built back then too. Great stuff. Also, there's a bar called the Blue Room that has killer patty melts. J |

The Dude: The In-and-Out Burger is on Camrose. Walter Sobchak: Near the In-and-Out Burger-- Donny: Those are good burgers, Walter. Walter Sobchak: Shut the fuck up, Donny. God, I love that movie :) |
First off Corby you are sick!
I put Cheese in the middle of the burgers when I make them! It got to be the Cheese! Salina Kansas Cozy Burgers, oh my god you will kill for them! They freeze them and ship all over the world! Belly Bombers! OOOOHHHHHEEEEEE Baby I died and went to heaven to have a Cozy!:) |

Speaking of Ohio, some of the best restaurant hamburgers I've ever had are at the original Max and Erma's in German Village in Columbus. Here in Denver, the burgers at My Brother's Bar are outstanding. How they're garnished depends on my mood on any given day. |

best burger EVER
If you're ever within 30 miles of Terre Haute, you have to go to this bar in town called Charlie's. They have this burger called the Tweetie. You order it with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickles, bacon, grilled onions, some fries, and a pitcher of beer. It's an experience in and of itself. mmmm, tweetie....my mouth is watering, I think I need to take a long lunch (about 3 hours) and drive to TH and get one!
It's the first place most alumni, from the past 25 years or so go when they come back for homecoming, pig roast, or anything else in town. It's just too bad you have to wait until you're 21 to experience it, of course, I think everyone would be about 50 lbs heavier if they'd been eating those since freshman year! :) |

my vote has to go to in-n-out also..they built one by my old house in scottsdale about a year and a half ago..omg sooo good..
and while i wouldn't say its the best burger ever..sonic's green chile cheeseburger (w/mustard..not mayo) with tater tots & a cherry sprite or an ocean water is great when you're hungover :) |
"Heaven on earth with an onion slice"
dzrose is right! hurrumph!
|
I'm an eastcoaster, but I've gotta say In-and-Out are the best burgers I've ever had. I have a lot of family out in California, and whenever we go out we make a stop at the In-and-Out's in California or Vegas.
Also - the real Cheers in Boston (actual name of restaurant is Bull and Finch Pub) has some very good burgers too. A couple of little stands around me at home in CT have some good burgers as well. Collin |
my boyfriend is a freak who likes just about everything thinkable on his burger, where as I am simply a burger and ketchup kinda girl...
|
Have ayll been to Fuddruckers, I heard their burger are humungus!
|
Another vote for In-and-Out! Cheeseburger, Animal Style. YUM! :)
When they opened an In-and-Out near my college, people camped for *days* to be the first in line. That's a bit over the top, but the burgers are that good! |
MMMMMMMM, Burgers :0)
There is nothing better than a burger right off of the grill, but when I can't get that, I go to Fuddrucker's. I get it with chili, cheese, mushrooms, ketchup, mayo, relish, letuce, tomato, and bread and butter pickles. Huge side of gravy and cheese steak fries and a Lipton Raspberry Ice Tea.....OK, NOW I'M HUNGRY! Oh, the two fast food chain restaurants I like are Checker's and McDonald's. Other restaurants with good burgers are TGI Friday's and Cheesecake Factory!
|
fuddruckers?
is fuddrucker's like fudpuckers?
