Today marks my one year in Zetadom. Eventhough it has been a trying year, I still feel like a neo.

You know you are a prophyte when everyone who pledged under you graduated 5 years ago... When everyone who you meet in undergrad was in junior high/high school when you pledged... |

When you start wearing only 1 piece of Para at a time instead of the regular 3-4.

U know You Are a Prophyte When....

When some youngin looks at you and says:
"Wow, 97? That's the year I graduated from High School!" CK |
When sorors refer to you as an "old head".....

You know you're a prophyte when you go to roll-outs and shake your head muttering "That's not how we did things."

U Know You're a Prophyte...
...when the letters & numbers on the shirts, jackets, etc. you got when you crossed start peeling or fading
...when newer members see your nalia collection and look at the way you look at the Sigma Historical Museum |
when you stop strolling and wearing a lot of para!!
|
Neos start calling you Grandma
You begin sentences with "back in [enter your season/year here]" |

.....Me either!

Well, I still love to stroll, but I can go to a party without strolling the ENTIRE time! I missed actually dancing. :) And I used to wear about 4-6 pieces of para. Now I might wear 1 or 2.

The Archonettes and Sigma Betas are bigger than Sorors and Frat.
Sorors call you for advice on chapter affairs. |
...people ask you for advice instead of food or money.
...people bring you food and beverages and you didn't even ask for em. ...you wear paraphernalia for other members to identify you, not just so that people will know. ...your favorite color returns to what it was before you crossed. ...you hear someone say they wanna be a part of your org and you simply respond with, "Mmm, that's nice. Tell me how it turns out." instead of getting your car washed or treated for lunch. |
Gotta cosign on all the comments so far...and add one of my own...You only wear 'nalia to org/other Greek events, not just cause you feel like it like you did in undergrad!
|
When you go to Homecoming and some of your former students are greek.
