Anyone watching the Road Rules premier?

It's funny cause Eric went to my high school. I found out about him being on the show during winter break. A group of us went to the movies. He wasn't supposed to say anything about being on the show but he told one person who told another who told another :)
So far, they have him portrayed as the pretty-boy jock frat-boy. He really isn't as conceited as MTV has him look. I guess MTV will edit their tapes to make people look the way they want them to.

When does the new season begin?

Monday 6/17, 10pm
 

The season starts Monday, June 17. I was just looking at something about this on MTV's website. Apparently they spend the season going to various college campuses across the South.

This sounds really, really interesting!! I can' wait to see the show! Of course, I won't be able to see the shows when they air; I will have to catch them the following weekend because I get out of work at 10 pm. :(

Road Rules at ASU
 

Road Rules taped the second to the last episode at ASU. It took 4 hours to tape one stunt! They do a chandellier/striaght jacket mission, and its wierd how it goes so fast when you watch the show but every scene they filmed, it took atleast 30 min. We got there at 3 and didnt go home until 9, but they were all so nice. Kendall is my favorite and it was obvious that there was something going on with her and Eric. Darrell didnt even talk to anybody, neither did Sara. But Kendall, Eric, Shane, and Rachel, talked to all of us for almost an hour. They also were here in Tempe for almost a week so they went to lots of our bars! It was such an amazing opportunity for us to see the show taped. Lots of fun!

I watched the show, I believe this season has the potential to be a good one. All the guys are cool. I like Rachel, except for when she made that anti-greek comment. I think Sarah will be cool too, IF she opens up and have more confidence. I absolutely postively cannot stand Kendal, she is so annoying!

The puking scene was totally unnecessary! :mad:

yeah don't you love how they showed her making that comment and then like, two scenes later she was wearing an i <heart> ato shirt? yeah okay

i'm already totally addicted!

does anyone know what glo kendal is a member of? (sarah mentioned that she<kendal> has her sorority sisters)

I watched it last night and there is no way in hell that I would be able to do that mission. I almost puked watching them. :(

Kendal's driving me nuts! I really didn't like the way she was on the bus:

"HI! WHAT'S YOUR NAME? ARE YOU GAY?"

And that whole thing about hooking up with Eric. Ugh! Please tell me the whole season isn't going to be about those two getting in the sack!

It's funny how I can complain and complain about this season...but I have a feeling I'll be glued to the TV every Monday night.

I'm rooting for Sara though. I really hope she does come around.

I think the show looks like it will be pretty good so far. The binging mission was so disgusting. I didn't think you could gain weight that quickly. I was annoyed with Kendal on the bus too. How rude is it to ask someone about their sexual orientation 10 seconds after meeting them? I'm hoping the entire season won't be about her romance/hooking up with Eric. I had enough of that last season with Ellen and Adam. Other than that the cast is pretty likeable. Also, if the cast was all together during the 2nd to last mission, like sundevil said, I'm guessing that they wiill choose to give up their prizes rather than kick someone off.

I saw the show tonight and I really liked it! Looks like it is going to be a very entertaining season.


What I think:

Kendal - Don't really care for her much
Sara - I think she will open up eventually
Rachel - Seems really cool, but that, "Ugh, I'm in a fraternity/sorority house" comment was crazy, but she still seems cool

Eric - Cute, sweet guy who is going to hook up with a number of gals
Shane - He'll be there to liven things up
Darrell - I think he will keep to himself, only for the reason that everyone else already found someone to be buddy-buddy with and I think that Sara will open up. He'll be the "outcast member"

Of all the RR seasons, this would be the funnest for me. Campus crawl? I am seeing two months of sampeling the night life of EVER college town across the country. HOW could that not be awesome??

however, i did check out the u of i KKG web page - there is a Kendall Sheppard listed - check her out at Iowa KKG

Another thing, MTV is really liking the Iowa greeks lately, last season of Road Rules Ellen an ADPi at Iowa was on, this season Kendall a KKG... Ellen annoyed me last season, Kendall annoyed me the first episode, thank god I don't run into these people on campus ;)

DAMN, i missed the first episode! Man, i'm so bummed. Does anybody know when a re run of it will air? It sounds like it will be an awesome season..possibly the best.

In all probability, there will be re-runs this weekend. (I don't know what time, but try flipping through the channels and you'll probably find it). Seriously, I've seen that first episode three times since it's premeired... I guess that's what happens when you don't have a summer job yet and you're home for most of the time during the day. :)

Sounds familiar...i just quit my job 2 days ago so i'll probably just be doing the couch potato thing for a little bit too....i'll check MTV listings out for times...thanx

I've been doing this for about 2 weeks now! But I was offered a job yesterday, so yay! No more boredom for me! :)
