Jennifer Lopez splits with husband
The couple, married last fall, have no plans for divorce at this time.

J. Lo is solo again.

A source confirmed to The Associated Press on Friday that Jennifer Lopez and her dancer-husband, Cris Judd, have separated. The source said the pair parted amicably and have no immediate plans for divorce.

A spokesman for Lopez declined to confirm or deny the split.

The 31-year-old actress-singer married Judd, 32, in a private ceremony in Calabasas, Calif. The Sept. 29 nuptials came just months after she broke up with hip-hop mogul Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, with whom she had a highly publicized romance.

Judd appeared prominently as a background dancer in the video for her hit "Love Don't Cost a Thing," but in recent months has become more active in her career. He directed the video for the Ja Rule remix of her song "Ain't It Funny," and choreographed her recent NBC concert special.

He and Lopez also co-wrote the song "Alive" from her recent thriller "Enough."

Lopez married model Ojani Noa in 1997 and divorced him the following year.

Anyone a lawyer here....what are the CA laws on marriages less than a year. I'm sure there was a pre-nup involved, but I'm wondering how much $$ Chris Judd is going to get for his 9 months "duty". I guess it's back to being a dancer!

My question is why does this babe keep getting married? Doesn't she believe in dating :confused:? I can't imagine being in my late 20's (ok, I just read that she's in her early 30's, but still) and a divorcee twice over. Slow down Jenny. You know, it seem that Hollywood romances/marriages (and some business-based ones) are becoming ways to advance one's career. Certainly this has been the case with Mr. Judd. I would say the same for Jennifer and Puff. Before he came along, I don't remember her career being as large as it is now.

You got that right!!!! I also agree with the person who mentioned something about her being divorced twice and she is just in her early 30's! I don't know why she got married to Cris so quickly. She needs to slow down and take her time. I thought something was up when I did not see him with her at the "Enough" premiere.

Chris cussed the media out during the regular season because of reports linking him with Tyra. I don't know if a video clip of his tirade still exists on the ESPN site, but you can check.

these are some very, umm, interesting comments. to each his/her own, as to what is/isn't sexy or attractive. but, i'm sorry, if the comments, especially the first paragraph, weren't taken out of context, i know more than a few psychologists who can really help her out. that ish is crazy.

SweetestDiva: I'm sorry to hear that about Maia. Her mom {author Bebe Moore Campbell} writes so powerfully about Black men..she never down plays them...but always sees the goodness in men...from the brother Tyrone the mailman in Brothers and Sisters to her dad in Sweet Summer to the executive in again Brothers and Sisters. Her mom gave me the opinion in her book Singing in the Comeback Choir that she esteemed quality families and neighborhoods. It seems as if her daughter is going in a direction different than her mom.

Or, it may be that she is actually a genius in disguise. Maia may recognize that it is these dudes that are paying her bread and butter these days...or, it may be that she didn't have enough positive men in her life to allow her to see REAL manhood in action...so now she's after these boys in an man's body. I think they are both just media hogs! They do whatever just to get attention. Either one of them has any real talent. He's so bad that not only is he sampling everyone elses music. Now he has even started recycling his own lyrics. It's sad really!

I heard that also. The reporter did say it was just a rumor. But when she was in the movie "Seventeen Again" with the Mowry twins and lil' bro, you could definately tell she got new and improved boobies.

Rapper Antron "Big Lurch" Singleton will stand trial for the murder of a 21-year-old L.A. woman 2 months ago. Detectives said they found the woman's body in her apartment with her chest ripped open & bite marks on her face & lungs. An examination found foreign human flesh & blood in his stomach. Lurch, who was allegedly high on PCP, has done songs with Mystikal, RBL Posse, C-Bo & others.

Big Lurch, a.k.a Antron Singleton, is accused of killing Tynisha Ysais, 21. Her chest was ripped open, and her lungs had been removed, according to the LA Times.

Big Lurch was seen shortly after the crime naked in the street, covered in blood, and staring up at the sky.

He was arrested and taken to a hospital, where — and I just love the way the Times words it — medics "found blood and flesh not belonging to him in his stomach."

According to the newspaper, the victim's mother, Carolyn Stinson, sat in back of the courtroom, stunned.

"That's so gross," the Times quotes her as saying. "[The police] told me not to believe the rumors, but they were true."
