I saw the preview for this movie for the first time yesterday and I am completely torn. Don't get me wrong, I will be there on opening night!!! But they needed to show more clips in the preview with Beyonce' talking. The one they showed disappointed me, cuz I KNOW she is not going to talk like that the whole movie. I think it was just a bad line they showed. I'm most uniterested in seeing her in this part. :( Most uninterested. But I bet she had the time of her life working with Mike Myers!!!! *sigh* I really hope she don't mess up my movie.

I see what you're saying about Beyonce not having a significant part in the trailers. I wish they would have shown more of her part so we could see what she's like. I wonder if maybe they are trying to not give too much away? It's so irritating when trailers show all the good jokes in the movie and by the time you see the movie it's been ruined.

I'm going in with an open mind. I think it's a fun choice and I'm looking forward to all the parodies they can do with her being there. (Maybe she and Britney will have an onscreen fight!)

A bunch of my sisters and I are planning on going together opening night. Some of us have to drive a long ways to get there but we really want to go togehter. We're always saying lines from the movie and joking around with it. I've been looking forward to this movie since I saw The Spy Who Shagged Me.

Girl, Austin Powers is the one movie that I would have to say, I don't think they could give away too much in the trailers!!! Because these movies have some hidden humor, y'know what I mean? The best parts didn't even make the trailer.

The part after Frau and Dr. Evil have sex, and she says, "You know, I will never love another man." And he thinks about it then says, "You're right." The first few times I saw it, I thought he was being cocky, then I thought back to Unibrow. That's hilarious, too.

I LOVE THESE MOVIES!!!! Even with Beyonce, I'm still looking forward to the third one.

Basically, to me she has. On the behind access or whatever the show is called, making the video..that's it. She said that the night before filming, she was onstage with DC. Then, after the video shoot was over, the next night she would be on stage with DC. They are on tour, for what? :confused:

No sights of Kelli or Michelle on the set, nor Solange. We did see daddy and momma Knowles. There actually was another dude that did B's makeup. And, they borrowed vintage Bob Mackie clothers, so no Tina design.

The video has movie clips, because Mike Meyers was not available for the video shoot (whatever :rolleyes: ). He sure didn't have B in the pepsi video (remember I mentioned that earlier)...

...WHY does Beyonce' have those WHITE PASTIES under her BLUE HALTER TOP on the cover of Ebony....couldn't Tina find her FLESH COLOR PASTIES....:mad: :confused: :eek:

I must admit, even though I'm not a total Beyonce fan, I thought her new song and video "Work it Out" was pretty cool. I was hatin' on her a little bit 'cause I never did master the hula hoop as a child. :p

Beyonce wasn't in the Pepsi video b/c Britney has a deal with Pepsi. She may not have been able to do it for other reasons, but that is why Britney was there and not her.

I have yet to see the video. . . but her hair is.. interesting, at least on the Feria commercials. .

I haven't seen the trailers for Goldmember yet. I know I'm going to go see it regardless of who's in it because Austin Powers is always funny.

Okay here are just a few of my many favorite lines or parts from AP 1 & 2:

"This is re-god-damn-diculous". Not that I'm a fan of saying "godd*mn" but the way Dr. Evil said it was just off the charts :D !!

I like the whole "zip it" and "Ssshhh" in both 1 & 2.

Any dialogue between Scott Evil and his Dad (Dr. Evil).

When Mini-me was drawing a picture of someone being killed and Scott asked him what he was doing and Mini-me just pointed at Scott. (You'd have to see it)

The "Just the Two of Us" scene.

Dr. Evil and Scott on Jerry Springer.

When Dr. Evil and his gang do the sinister laugh, pause, laugh, pause, so on and so on. (Man I'm almost dying over here thinking about that).

As you see, I could go on and on. I have both movies at home. I was shocked that I ended up liking these movies so much. But a couple of years ago during the summer after I graduated, I was back home with the family and we decided to rent it for whatever reason. So glad we did.

Michelle has a single out, she introuduced it when she came to atlanta a couple of weeks ago. It's a gospel tune, kinda/sorta.

I feel you. I am such a huge fan of this series that I've gone all protective mother hen on it (read: if they screw it up, they're in trouble!).

But I have faith. The trailers are hilarious. I think they're gonna give us all the stuff we love. Bring on the cameos!!

I watched the movies earlier today and I wasn't really impressed. I'm sorry, I think I will wait until Goldmember comes out on DVD.

Don't get me wrong, some of the stuff was funny, but in a stupid kind of way.

I hate to admit it, but that "Work It Out" song is really growing on me. I don't even know how it happened - I thought I hated it, but everytime I hear it, I like it a little more. I'm ashamed. :o

Did you guys hear that new song with Nelly and (I think) DC's Kelly? It's a cute song and I think the girl is Kelly, but maybe I wasn't listening well and misheard? It's the slow song that goes, "No matter what I do...all I think about is you..."

I think the song is cute also. I also think that the Children are just not as good separately as they are together. Beyounce needs Kelly's loud strong voice, Michelle needs Beyounce and Kelly to take the spotlight off her, and Kelly just needs her friend, even though if I had to pick someone who could make on their own, I would pick Kelly, because she can do more than "sing" in a high pitched voice, like Beyounce. And some people can't feel Michelle on the gospel tip after parading around half-naked for the world.

But, hey what do I know, I don't proclaim to know the ins and outs of the music industry. ;)

I think Beyonce' could probably make it on her own the easiest, only because she has the most name recognition. But I think Kelly is more deserving, though. In any case, I'm super sick of how Beyonce' steals ALL the thunder in Destiny's Child.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to AP3, the other ones were hilarious and I'm sure this one will be, too. I love Dr. Evil!

Uggghhh, I hated Beyonce's video. I have only seen it once and that was enough for me. I really hated all of those "crotch shots" where you could almost see her panties. I have a real problem with women who always have their legs open. In a dress that short, she did not have to have her legs that wide. That just really turns me off. Come on, be a lady. Nobody wants to see, or get close to seeing, your panties while your singing a song. Plus, the song wasn't all that great. Actually, it sounds like something she just threw together for the soundtrack.

Oh, and I finally saw the commercials for Goldmember. I pray the Beyonce does not mess this movie up because the commercial with her in it already looks pretty bad. When she's says "I'm Foxy Cleopatra, and I'm a whooooole lotta woman," I just want to scream. She is overacting enough for five bad movies. I hope that Mike Myers will be good enough that we forget about Beyonce. It would be such a shame if she won a Golden Raspberry for Worst Performance in her first major movie.

-I cannot stand that song nor the video. I am so mad they actually put that song on the soundtrack. It is SO subpar even for Beyonce. I wonder how much she whined to get it put on there.


-I turn my face up in disgust whenever I see that commercial for the movie when Beyonce says something then says "...and I'm a WHOLE LOTTA WOMAN." :rolleyes: Has she been taking acting lessons? If so she needs to get a refund, plus interest.

At the risk of getting a beat down for this {quietly} I kinda like the song. It's not a favorite but I think it's fun. I've always been a sucker for the funk. {shrugs}

I'm trying not to pass too much judgement on her acting skills until I see the movie. Regardless of how well she does (and I am still holding out hope), I know I'll enjoy the movie more if I go in with an open mind.

In regards to her acting ability, after sitting through her stomache, gag-reflex testing MTV movie version of Carmen.........she was HORRIBLE !!!

Beyonce will be on The View next week. I guess to promote the movie?
