Friends Season Finale!?
 

OMG I just finished watching the Friends season finale!!! Did anyone else watch it???
That was the most emotional episode..or maybe its just me, but i was in tears by the end!!!

What did everyone think?? I dont want to give it away so ill wait for your responses :)

I was crying too. I can't wait to see what others thought of the ending...

I dunno. I actually felt cheated. I don't wanna ruin it in case any one hasn't seen it. But COMMON. there is NO chemistry there (ok, so maybe I might have ruined it, so if you haven't seen it, don't read on). And her response?!? COMMON! AS IF!!!!!!!!! Ross coming up the elevator with flowers TOTALLY reminded me of the cliffhanger season finale 5 or so years ago when Rachel shows up at the airport to see Ross on his way back from China once she learns of his feelings for her, and then you see Ross coming around the corner kissing Julie. Like I said.. I felt cheated. It was a suprise tho. That's forsure. I'm sure everyone expected a different ending.

I was crying the whole episode too. Until the end. Then I just stared blankly.

Janice's return was priceless.

Question. Has there yet been a season finale of friends in its 7 or 8 year run where the cliffhanger DIDN'T have anything to do with Rachel? Not that I'm complaining. She's my favorite friend.

All I have to say is: Oh my goodness! Not what I expected at all! :eek: :eek: :eek:

It was a wonderful episode...until the last two minutes!!!!!!! The last two minutes completely ruined the whole episode for me. :(

I do not know why I thought that the show would only be 30 minutes, but I took off to the grocery store at 7:30 thinking it was over! My sister called me to give me the news!! :eek:

Never mind. My sister just filled me in. That's the kind of situations they always get into, so I don't think that cliffhanger is all that surprising.

I was expecting the whole thing, but I HATE that they didnt finish it...sorry if I said too much. Just thought for the Finale they would put alittle ....finale into it! Now I have to wait for sweeps!!!

Am I the only one who noticed Emma's initials? Emma Gellar Green? Way to name your new daughter after a poultry product.

I still think that was the cutest name...Emma..so cute! I felt like I actually was a part of it! its amazing how you can just get absorbed by it! My roomate walked in and she was like..why are you crying!!?!!
She isnt a friends fan..oh well! :D
I dont want it to end!

Next is chandler and monica...it seems everyone is having a baby! will and grace right after had their having a baby thing tonight too..oh well...

AAAAAAAAH! I can't believe I missed it!!! Could someone please tell me what happened?

I loved that Janice was back! I like the name Emma, but I think it sounds too much like Ross's ex-wife Emily. I thought that Monica and Chandler were too funny! As for the ending, I'm still undecided. I think that it is just a cliffhanger to get people to watch in September.

I thought the same thing about Emma/Emily. Oh well. I didn't like the ending (nor did anyone else I talked to). She must have been on some good drugs to think that he would actually do that and then to say yes.

All I can say is OH MY GOD...Janice is hilarious!!

I didn't particularly like the way it ended either but of course it's just one of those things that leave you hanging to make sure you watch next season.

Rachel already knew Joey was in love with her + she was all emotional, so it probably wasn't all that odd for her.

Anyway, I'm going to feel really bad for somebody come September. I love both Joey and Ross. I'm so confused....:confused:

So i am a friends' a holic....and i am not to thrilled about the ending. like someone else said, it was like all the other cliff hanger endings they have every year. last year was the "who's the baby's daddy?", ect. .

I am not to thrilled with the episode. I think they just should have let it end with phoebe talking to ross about "getting what he has wanted since he was 15". and i also was not crazy that they left the whole phoebe and that guy thing hanging.

My guess for the first episode of next season is that ross is going to walk in to see joey proposing. ross is going to leave, joey is going to follow him, and tell ross to ask rachel to marry him. and somehow they will explain all this to rachel. monica and chandler will have trouble getting pregnant and that will become some sort of storyline. I think the Series Finale next spring will be ross and rachel getting married.

Rachel started having contractions so they went to the hospital. The nurse claimed there were no private rooms so they had to have a semi-private room (shared with another woman in labor). Throughout the hour, three crazy couples came and went and Rachel got pissed because she was "there first"! Then they bring in a fourth woman...Janice.

In an attempt to shock Chandler, Monica announces that she's ready to have a baby. Chandler says he's been thinking about it too and Monica freaks out. They talk about it and eventually decide to start trying...in the hospital!

Phoebe met this cute patient while waiting for the elevator. He says she should come visit him, but the elevator door closes before she can get his room number. She tries to get the information from a nurse but the nurse refuses to give out that confidental information. Joey poses at Dr. Drake Ramorey (sp?) to get the information and then Phoebe makes him interview the guy as Dr. Ramorey to see what the guy is like.

Meanwhile, Ross's mom stops by and gives him his grandmother's engagement ring and asks him to give it to Rachel. He says he'll think about it. Then Rachel gives birth, she names the baby Emma, and Janice stops by to visit. She tells Rachel that she's proud of her for having the baby alone and that she will never be able to depend on a man. Ross and Phoebe have a conversation about why he isn't with Rachel and tells him he's stupid for not going after what he's wanted since he was 15...he gets flowers and goes to see Rachel. Joey also visits Rachel and she is very emotional. She asks him to get her some tissues out of Ross's coat. The engagement ring falls out and when Rachel sees Joey with the ring, she thinks he is proposing and say yes.

WOW! that was good..like i just watched it all over again!
AHHHH 3 months til the next one!

No offense...I'm a Friend's Freak....but why did you all cry? No tears came near me...
The end sucked...I was dissappointed.
Anyway...

For me the tears really came when Monica let Rachel and Ross have the baby name - Emma.

For me I guess I cried cause I have been watching Friends for a long time and Ive seen Rachel through all her hairstyles!! and i just felt like i knew her!..:)
When she gave birth it was just so sweet emotional..and she was saying hi to her and the lil baby opened her eyes..
then when all the friends were in the room taking turns holding her...i just couldnt control it!!
I sat there holding my pillow the whole time! lol
Birth is so beautiful!

Ok, thanks :) wasn't quite sure where the crying came into play. That was cute...but I guess just didn't get me and I'm quite the crier.

NOT what I wanted to see.

The show was funny. I am sick of Ross. I mean how many times are they going to do the on again off again Ross and Rachel thing? I still think that Ross and Rachel will get together again.

i was mad cause it should have ended when joey went back into rachel's room realizing that rachel liked him. THAT should have been the cliffhanger. we should have waited all summer to see if joey still liked her. i think they showed too much and took away the suspense for the summer. so now i am like okay, everyone has who they want, so now what? all we have to look forward to is how everyone will react. oh well.

Going out to dinner took longer than I thought so I only watched the last 10 minutes. Very disappointed! I thought it was very boring.

Am I the only one who thinks that, in real life, a Ross doesn't get married several times and always to a beautiful woman?

The whole Ross and Rachel thing has yoyo'ed so much over the years - I was talking to a guy friend after tonight's show and he told me that he hopes Rachel puts a stake through Ross's heart in the grand finale next year! I think that might be a little over the top, though...

So what happened?

I am all for Rachel and Joey together!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAY So I really really liked this episode :D

I thought the finale was cute :)

Okay, I know everyone's going to be babbling on about the Rachel and Joey thing and I don't like it at all. Not because Rachel should be with Ross or whatever...it just doesn't seem like it's cool. But who knows? It obviously didn't work out with Ross so maybe it'll work out now.

I think the best part of tonight was...

MONICA'S HAIR!

Well, Carol was okay, she was his college girlfriend and Rachel is obviously the main focus of the show, but I didn't think Emily was anything special, in fact, I thought she was rather annoying.

Ugh. I HATE Rachel & Joey. Blech.


Hee, I think the best part was when Phoebe was getting all worked up about the ping pong tournament. "It's like watching porn." LOL I'm glad Mike is back. He's so friggin' cute.

Yea, her hair was definately something! :p

My hair looks like Monica's hair when it is extremely humid an I don't use hair products. :p Ok, not that bad! :)

I only caught the last 15 mins of the show. i thought the ping-pong tournament was hilarious- but i kinda didnt want chandler to win. i think mike is just so much cuter.
as for the ross-rachel-joey-and whatever that other girl's name is....i just don't get it. its not the same, ross hooking up with whats her face and joey going after rachel- ross and rachel have a history. i agree with whomever said that they should have just ended it with joey walking back into the room.
