small boobs

Do small boobs look horrible in bikinis? Any good recommendations for small boobs.....really like bikinis...but small up there..

Moochagoo 05-15-2002 11:23 AM

I think small boobs are sexy! *grrrr* yeah baby yeah (think Austin Powers)

:D :D :D

SigmaChiCard 05-15-2002 11:27 AM

I love small chests and I know that's backasswards but it's true. I guess too many of my ex's were well-endowed or something (usually girls that my friends would be like OMG! look at her chest) but smaller chests are sexier I think. Anyway, on that note small chests look wonderful in bikinis ;) and I think only small-chested girls can really get away with some of the sexier bikinis like the triangle tops because they've not really got to worry about falling out too much. I think you've got many more options because your chest is smaller.

send me a picture and I will let you know what I think.

I believe in equal opportunity: I don't disrciminate on the basis of Cup size. But I fear that none of the guys' comments are really helping.

What I think she might be really asking is which bikini's look best on smaller breasted women desirious of seeming to be better endowed then they are.

I can be of no help there:)

Sisterplum 05-15-2002 03:50 PM

I have to agree with SigmaChiCard.....smaller boobed people can work the bikini's better! Trust me....there is NO way in hell that I can wear a triangle top bikini and have it look sexy....I'm spillin' out everywhere! I have no idea how the models do it!:D Even in my current bikini, I'm constantly having to re-adjust my "girls"!

SigmaChiCard 05-15-2002 03:59 PM

Oh yeah
I really like Black too, because as hard as it is to make a bikini look really nice, black does it best....

I like this one!

Triangle top looks best on small busts - I speak from experience :)

ZTAngel 05-15-2002 04:22 PM

You can wear bikinis with triangle tops because you don't have to worry about excess...ahem...spillage. If you're looking for something to make your chest look fuller, Victoria Secret's has a whole entire line of bikinis that have underwires and padding. It would be almost like wearing a miracle bra to the beach. A few friends have tried them and didn't like the ones with the padding though; they said that if they went into the water, the pads would become saturated and it would like wearing phone books on their boobs. But, get something with underwire and that has patterns.

Tom Earp 05-15-2002 06:22 PM

My Ex had small Boobies, the only problem, was that when she wore a bikini, you could see her toes!

Cute Boobs ( I

loved them alot ) but ugly toes, hated them!

BIGGY BOOBS, Gravity do work! Ask the Guy with the Apple!

I am a Leg Man! I melt like butter with a hot knife!:)

At my short stature, I am loving short ladys, well maybe tall ladys, well maybe any ladys!;)

lilsnakeyk 05-15-2002 11:01 PM

Those of us who "well-endowed" cannot pull of bikini tops as well as the more fortunate chested of our gender.

For example I was playing frisbee at the beach this summer, and well, I flung the frisbee too hard, and gave everybody a free show. Trust me, I would rather have small boobs.

DeltAlum 05-16-2002 12:52 AM

Proportion is most important to me. Anything that is too big (or too small) is a problem.

I'm also a leg man. Always have been.

Kevin 05-16-2002 12:57 AM

Small boobs in bikini can work!

No specific advice from me here, but bikinis = good.

ilovemyglo 05-16-2002 01:09 AM

Okay, I have to disagree with some of these ideas. I have a larger chest, but overall I am a small girl. I can wear bikinis, even triangle tops, actually they are best for me. I can adjust how tight they are to give me lift and support, and I just get a larger size top than bottom (thank god for ordering out of a catalog!) So you can wear one if you are top heavy. You also don't have to deal with the ordeal of having any padding, which I DONT NEED!! I don't think swimwear designers have that in mind.
For smaller girls, triangle tops work well, too, though. But my best friend is smaller up top and she likes things with underwires and removable pads, when she gets out of the water to lay out, she goes to the bathroom and wrings out the pads and puts them back in, but it works for her.

Proportion is the key. Some of the cutest bikini figures are HS girls with small chests.

Hey I've got a small chest too but my husband doesn't complain...he's says, "anything more than a handful is a waste."

I usually only wear bikinis but that is because I have a hard time finding a one piece that fits properly. The triangle top is the way to go.

My mom wanted me to get one of those bikini's with the wonderbra type thing in the top...I was like, "no way mom, people would wonder where my boobs came from!!"

IowaHawkeye 05-16-2002 04:47 PM

Funny story... at my cousin's wedding shower she was complaining about her small chest, my grandma stood up and announced (in front of her fiance's family i might add) "ALL HE NEEDS IS A MOUTHFUL"

thanks grandma, go easy on the punch next time - its lethal ;)

Tom Earp 05-16-2002 04:57 PM

I Hawk, You just took the words right out of my mouth!;)

DeltAlum 05-16-2002 05:58 PM

Tom,

I don't even believe you said that.

Tom Earp 05-16-2002 06:20 PM

DA, ya think I would let that one go?http://www.plauder-smilies.de/happy/xyxthumbs.gif

I did not start this they did!;) :( :)

Know what I mean?

KappaStargirl 05-16-2002 07:12 PM

Tom Earp, I have never laughed so hard...well, since last week, but anyway I want to, uh, weigh in on this topic.

If you have small boobs (or nunga-nungas as we teen librarians call them) BE THANKFUL. You don't have to worry about wearing an underwire bikini top or halters or a backless dress, you can go without a bra if you want. My story:

In sixth grade I was a 34B. By the end of seventh grade, a 34D. By the end of 9th grade, a 34DD, and by the end of my freshman year in college, a 34DDD. I am 5'4" and 125 pounds. My boobs were bigger than my head!!

At the end of my sophomore year in college, I was totally fed up. I was a size 14 on top and a 4 on the bottom. My back hurt all the time, I had marks in my shoulders from my bra straps, I couldn't breathe properly to sing and FORGET exercising (I couldn't run and no frickin way was I getting in a bathing suit). So I called a friend who'd had a breast reduction our junior year in high school and she gave me her surgeon's name. I went to see the doctor and to make a long story short, I got my health insurance to cover my breast reduction and damn, it was the best decision I ever made and I feel awesome. I'm not walking around with sunny-side-ups or anything, I still have to wear a bra everywhere and wouldn't touch a triangle bikini with a 10-ft pole, but clothes fit and my back doesn't hurt anymore. I am proportional now.

So let the lesson be: If you're small, flaunt it and wear all those teeny tops and backless dresses. I'm with DeltAlum, it's all about proportion.

I just have to say that your grandmother is the Shit!! I realy got a good laugh out of that one. But I have to agree that Proportion is the Key, not just any one part.

dzsaigirl 05-16-2002 08:41 PM

My best friend had a reduction. I am totally supportive of anyone who does that 'cause it really hurts to have that much to carry around.

I am a C cup, so I feel that I am neither too small, or too big, but I have to agree that the bathing suits should not come with padding or it should be removable for those of us who do not need it. Sometimes I wish I had less so that I could wear certain clothing without a bra, but I like my chest, so I will just wear the darn bra :) I was a D for a while (when I started the pill) but I have gone back to normal.

Did you settle for a C-Cup? That seems to be the most popular size. And did it leave scars?

Two excellent questions!

1) Before surgery, I sat down with my doctor and she told me exactly what would happen during surgery, how I would feel afterwards, etc. which really alleviated a lot of my fears. I asked her if I could be a B cup, because I remembered by 7th grade days of being so miserable as a C and I['m not a big person overall. She told me that there was no guarantee on size, because she didn't have bras in the operating room with her. What she would do was size me so that I was proportional to the rest of my body. She also told me that if I was miserable as a C, it's very possible that I was measured wrong and had been wearing the wrong bra size, because most women are proportional as a C. As it turned out, I ended up a C, sometimes a D depending on what style of bra I need (and also since I started doing more pushups and chest presses in my workouts).

2) Yes, but 50 percent of them are underneath. The other 50 percent are very minimal. I had a fantastic surgeon.
