HC we did a "family" night thing on Saturday and took the kids to see Spiderman.
HC I really liked it. HC before the movie, we decided to get something to eat. HC we needed to go someplace where we could get in and out quickly without having to wait on our food. HC we wanted to go to the Olive Garden, but the line was too long. HC we went to the Hometown Buffet instead. HC BAD CHOICE. HC I've gone there with my sister who lives in Los Angeles. HC the Hometown Buffet up here is NOT the same. HC there were about 100 mexican families up in there. HC there were kids crawling on the floors. HC the food was not that good. HC some high school kids came in there for their PROM DATES! HC :eek: HC they were all dressed up in formal wear, grubbin' down in the buffet line. HC at church yesterday there were 2 christenings. HC this one family had coordinated to all wear RED. HC there were about 50 people in this family and they all stood up in front of the altar for the christening. HC this family is comprised primarily of ex-gang members and pimps. HC I was talking to someone next to me and all of a sudden it was really quiet in the church. HC just as it got really quiet, I said DRIVE BY...a little too loud! HC :o HC a whole bunch of people heard me. HC they were all LOL. |

HC I went to the Queen City of Charlotte, Nawth Cackalacka last weekend?
HC it was to attend my cousin's graduation from JCSU? HC I forgot to PM tickledpink to let her know I'd be in town? HC lo siento tickledpink? :( HC I had a ball, with the exceptions of the bus rides both ways? HC on the way there, I had to "guide" this Muslim lady to Charlotte b/c she spoke little ingles and mostly Arabic? HC she had just gotten to NYC from Egypt and was trying to go to Charlotte? HC I felt like somebody's mother and I was SUPPOSED to be travelling alone? HC when we stopped in Richmond, she went to the bathroom and almost got lost? HC it was b/c she didn't look at where I was sitting so that she could come back to her seat? HC she almost got on a line with passengers who were about to load their bus to go to wherever they were going? HC I had to go get her before she would've gotten on their bus and ended up in the middle of nowhere? HC when I got her, she said, "You're so very nice?" HC I said, "Thank you," but I was thinking, "Why didn't you look for where I was sitting instead of wandering off like somebody's lost child?" HC we stopped in Richmond b/c some of the mofos on my bus decided to make the bus a trash receptacle? HC there were soda bottles rolling around all over the place before we got to Richmond? HC I wanted to tell the bus driver to make a big sign saying, "Your momma doesn't work here nor is she here to help you, so please clean up after yourself?" HC I would've made the damn sign myself if he let me? :D HC we made more stops than what was on the itinerary? HC I was :mad: ? HC I didn't have my phone book with me to call my cousin's ex-girlfriend to let her know I had gotten in? HC I called home and told my sister that if she called to let her know that I was in town? HC I waited for almost two hours for her to pick me up? HC it was my cousin's fault? HC she told him that my bus was coming in soon and she had to pick me up and he told her, "She'll be aight?" A Whole New Me!!!
HC yesterday was a very big day for me?
HC I wanna share it with my GC phamily? HC after months of growing my hair with no relaxers, I decided to take the plunge? HC yesterday, I got ALL of the relaxer cut out of my hair? HC I am now sportin' a cute little natural? :D HC I am so proud of myself for not changing my mind? HC I can't stop touching my hair? HC after she first cut it off, I was like, um, this isn't exactly what I had in mind? HC she didn't want to wash it? HC it was raining and cold outside, and I didn't want to leave with a wet head? HC I then went to CT4's house so that she could see it? HC she is probably like :eek:, lol, cuz she hasn't seen it wet? HC anyway, it looked funny, lol, like a blown out afro, and I ain't want that? HC I couldn't wait to get home so I could play in it? HC one of our friends from college went natural last year, so she sent me a list of what to buy for my hair? HC I was so excited when I went to the beauty supply store? HC I had the best time doing my hair last night? HC I'ma have fun today, too? HC this whole ordeal has been a really trying time for me? I had an accident today
HC I was in a car accident today?
HC I am fine, just banged up? HC I know tomorrow my body will be killing me? HC I am praying that they total out my car? HC at the same time, I'ma miss Sparkle? :( HC yall pray for me right now, cuz I have lots of questions and few answers? HC I have to trust God's will? HC there is a reason that this happened? HC when I figure it out, I'll let yall know? HC I will be back with the whole story when I feel up to typin'? |

A new phase of life
HC Sparkle has been officially laid to rest? :(
HC this is the SECOND car that I have totaled? HC when I got Sparkle after the first accident, I treated her like a stepchild? HC she just was no Jade? HC as the years progressed, I grew to like her? HC she has taken me to Lansing, ATL, DC (a couple times), 'Nap (a couple times), and all over Ohio? HC she truly was my roaddog? :( HC I cleaned her out yesterday? HC as I was leaving, I was saying bye to her, I realized, she still had my 1908 plate?! HC I got out and got that, along with my Wittenberg Alumni plate holder, with the quickness!!?? HC now I just have to find a new car? HC I have been meaning to talk about this? HC the wrestling commercial? HC I wanna know if yall have seen it? HC it has a bush that starts out cut into WWF? HC then they cut the F off? HC at the end of the commercial, it says, GET THE 'F' OUT!! HC I was like WTF? HC if I wasn't before, I am now, completely convinced that my children will not watch TV? HC the commercials are sayin 'get the f out?' HC I just couldn't believe that? HC everyday, I hear something on TV that makes me shake my head? HC I posted without finishing? lol HC I am ready to learn something new? HC I think I want to learn how to make my own clothes? HC I am notorious for picturing something in my head, then going out trying to find it in a store? HC it's just annoying? HC I realized that it would be kinda expensive to have all of my clothes altered after losing weight (2 inches so far!!)? HC I realized that to save money (my daily goal), I could just do it myself? HC I'm going to look into taking a sewing class this summer? HC after I think I'm the bomb, I'm going to buy myself a sewing machine? :) HC I am really excited about this? HC I feel like my life is changing? HC I can't really explain to yall what I mean, but something is shifting? HC I'm feeling that calming peace again? HC I'm glad it's back? HC this all came when I cut my hair? HC not the idea to make my clothes, but the life shift? HC now when I picture my future, it looks different? HC I am really looking forward to this new phase of my life? :) |

HC when you put things in perspective they re not as overwhelming as they originally seemed? HC I'm gonna make one little change, and many of my "perceived" problems, will be reduced in magnitude? HC the one change I have to make is relocating? HC my ABC finally called me? HC I mentioned it on GC, and she called me like two days later? HC we've been good friends since 1984? HC it was a coincidence? HC I really missed her? HC I'm glad she called? |
