Nail polish???
 

Anyone have any favorite nail polish colors? Any input?

My favorite for everyday is just clear.

Any of the Sally Hansen crome colours.

OPI "Bubble Bath". Nice and sheer with just a hint of pink.

I like to wear bright colors in the summer and darker colors in the winter.(on toes)
And on my finger nails I always wear clear nail polish, unless I get my nails done then maybe french manicure.:)

Lancome Vernis Absolu in Foret Magique. I have lipstick in the same color.

fingernails - clear

toenails OPI Outback Aphrodesiac and Virgin Island Velvet are my favorites.

My fingernails are usually clear. When I get them done, I like deep red for both my hands and feet. Usually, I get french manicures and pedicures. I love that look.

Any shade of light purple for the summer...I'm a purple freak!!!!:D:D

When I was growing up I wasn't allowed to wear nail polish unless it was clear (for medical reasons not because my mom was mean). Now that I have gotten older I very rarely paint my fingernails but my toe nails are always pained bright red or maroon.

I always end up chipping the polish, so I usually just paint them with a clear top coat. I do like nude, sparkly colors though, especially Clinque's Gold Chill.

i like to wear clear on my fingernails. I love that clear that Sally beauty supply sells. I would get up to find it so that I could tell you the name but I 'm too lazy. Sorry!:p

Sisterplum, you should check out Urban Decay Exhaust -- it's a great light purple pearl color that I just got from Sephora, and not too expensive! I love having summer toes again!!!

I would have to agree with you! The only downside to these polishes is that they seem to chip rather easily and you have to put them on perfectly or it's really easy to tell you messed up.

in the winter/fall : OPI vampire state building or nypd beet on my fingers, i wear these colors on my toes all year round

spring/summer - any sheer pink or lavender, i love OPI venus de violet, and i can't find it :(

I like the basic red on my toes all year round.

OPI's Caramia Crimison. It is a really cool bright pink shade with a gold shimmer.

I'm an OPI girl. In the winter I wear Vampire State Buliding(Deep red) and in the summer either An Affair in Times Square or Dulce De Leche(Pinks ans peaches).

My very favorite is OPI -I'm not really a waitress red!!! I love that color.
And I always use Sache Vite for the top coat--no chipping!!!!

I dont really have a basic brand, but in the summer my toenails are pink and in the winter they are red. Normally my fingernails match my toes, but sometimes i get french manicures. Its so sad, but i cant stand my toenails not having any nail polish on them!

Just out of curiousity, is OPI the brand name or is it short for something? I don't think I've heard of it before.

In the fall i usually wear like a dark red. In the spring and summer i wear bright colors....well it also depends on the outfit i'm wearing

I like a coral color during the summer. Makes me look tanner. :D

OPI is a brand name that most salons carry. It's good stuff and has great color names.

I just got a french manicure done on my toe nails! It looks AWESOME! Otherwise, I try to wear red or silver on my toes...sometimes a bright pink in the summer.
On my finger nails, I usually don't wear anything but clear or nail growth. But if I want something nice, I'll wear whatever matches my clothes that day.

I spend a lot of time at the beach and wear pearl on my toenails. I also wear a silver toe ring. That's about as kinky as I get...lol.

I remembered this thread as I passed Trade Secret today and I had to stop in and shop the OPI display! It was a tie between Bubble Bath and Sweet Heart, but I ended up getting Sweet Heart. And I am about to go through and check my polish collection and toss old stuff. This has set me on a mission to be organized!

ooohhh, i had forgotten about those. They are were cute and classy. They have started to become more and more popular every day! I would get them more often but they dont come out very well when i do them. Getting a pedicure is the least relaxing thing i can do. I am EXTREMELY ticklish and i hate when they scrub your feet and massage your legs. Its so embarassing because i cant stop laughing! :rolleyes:

I laughed out loud 2 weeks ago! I had never done that before. I don't think it helped that the lady next to me laughed when she had her feet done, so I was already in giggle mode!

You ever notice that it doesn't tickle when you scrub your own feet, but when they do it, it's unbearable?

my new summer color is called "Rodeo Rose" by OPI.

Me, I'm all for either sheer colors (pinkish, nude) or more dramatic, dark colors (plum or burgundy). Never in between!

Some faves include:
Essie's Delicacy (I love this...the perfect natural ivory-pink color)
Urban Decay's Flourescent (again, a very sheer ivory color)
Sephora's #246 (like UD's Flourescent, but more natural)
Maybelline's Express Finish in Purple Rage (a beautiful dark purple...excellent for the toes)
Elizabeth Arden's Metallic Plum

...and some Revlon Street Wear Nail Polish in a name I can't remember...it was this amazing, beautiful nude that makes one's nails look professional and neat!

Also, my friend had on her toenails this beautiful dk. red nail polish from Bath and Body Works. Can't remember the name tho.
