I am a neo on this board and I have a question? How do you all get your letters to appear in your signature? I tried to cut and past and it didn't work. Also how do you get those neat animations other than the faces. Help a sister out here, Pleeeeease.

Colors & Greek Letters
 

here's how u do colors
open with [ color= ] (without the spaces)

after the = put the name of the color u want...red, green, blue (there are several shades of blue),etc. you can see the colors that are available if you click on the drop down next to COLOR when you're making a post or replying.

then you close with [ /color ] again, without the spaces

changing the font is the same way, except you're using the word font instead of the word color. for the greek letters, the font name is symbol. for this purpose, our letters are DSQ instead of DST ;)

you add your signature in your user CP under edit profile.

This site is in German but you just have to click on the pic you want (in the middle of the page) and copy and paste the IMG code in reply box. The pics at the top and bottom are the menu pics, click on those and it will take you to a cornucopia of pics.

Here you have to right click on pic that you want, then click on Properties and then copy and paste that URL into your message but put the [ img ] [ /img ]around said URL, again no spaces when you do it.

etc.

I just noticed that I am totally crashing a Delta board...OMG...I am so sorry for the crash...I just searched signatures and started hacking away on the keyboard...lol...THANK YOU FOR THE HELP!!!!!

Why won't the font size go down although I have changed the font size in the code? Help!!!

It depends on what you are trying to reduce, I have different font sizes for the things in my signature but I had to play with the first word, then the next line etc etc to make sure they looked just right.

It may help if you show us what's in your signature box and then we can tell ya what to do.

This is what I have in my sig box (without the spaces of course...

[ color = red ] [size = 12] INS2U [ /size ] [ /color ]
[ color = red] [ size =12 ] [ font = symbol ] DSQ [ /font ] [ /size ] [ /color ]
