Well fellow GCers, I'M BAAACCKKK and I'm PROUD and HONORED to say that I CROSSED OVER INTO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF DELTA...THIS MORNING!!!!! :D :D :D The process was definitely a learning experience for me and my line sisters. Thanks SORORS (I'm just BESIDE myself now that I'm able to say that. :D :D ). As you all know, TIME nor ENERGY would allow me to be on GC during the process. It was DEFINITELY a memorable learning experience (to say the least). Believe it or not, it STILL has not really hit me yet. :D Now as far as changing my screen name goes, Reds 6, I don't that I will at this point. But I am thinking about changing my signature instead.

Elephant Hugz @ Soror Indigo1913! It's so good to see another Soror with similar 'stats'! Your crossing date (5/26) is the same as my daughter's birthday and we have the same number!!!

Well Soror Indigo1913, that's something that WE have in common. It was a tiring process for me because I too am a married mother of 2 children (ages 8 and 2). It was hard on my family and I kinda felt guilty for spending so much time away from them. BUT... it HAD to be done in order for me to FINALLY achieve the long-awaited goal of becoming a member of our wonderful Sisterhood.

At an event on Saturday, my line sisters and I overheard a lady say that she could not understand why women in their thirties, forties, and over would want to NOW join a sorority. Of course, I was kind of "uneased" by her question because I am 32 (and I was born into Delta on March 30, 2002). But after thinking about my REASONS for wanting to become a Delta, all of my "uneasiness" was gone. And I could truly understand the meaning of the saying "MANY ARE CALLED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN". It is DEFINITELY an honor and a priviledge to be a member of the BEST sorority in the world.

:cool: Evidently, that woman has never wanted something badly enough. I feel sorry for her, because she doesn't appear to have a dream. There are over 200.000 of us who had a dream of joining this great sisterhood. I had only one regret, while I was on line my mother passed away and she never got to see me wearing my pin.

Congratulations to all 2002 initiates. Welcome to the Sisterhood!! Remember to always uphold the "Divine Nine" of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Sisterhood, Scholarship, and SERVICE!!!!

And to Iota Pi, 4 is such a wonderful number *smile*

I just wanted to let you know that Mu Mu chapter at Towson University in Baltimore has inititated 9 devastating divas of DST into our illustrious sisterhood.
The 9 Sorors of Crimson Paradox came out on their yard last Thursday and did they ever put on a show!

I'm going on 4 months in this wonderful land of Delta Sigma Theta. I crossed the sands on December 31, 2001 at 3:30pm with 6 very outstanding ladies. We were named MIRACULOUS S.E.V.E.N. I'm very much a NEO and i'm looking forward to the years ahead in Delta Land.

Sorors, I am pleased to announce that the Minneapolis/St. Paul Alumnae Chapter initiated 17 dynamic ladies on April 6, 2002. We did this in conjunction with Nu Epsilon Citywide Chapter which brought in a line of 9 outstanding new members. NE was led by our own GC soror Delph998.

I've been working hard in Delta for 3 years now and it's exciting to see so many new sorors. Congratulations to all of you. I'm sure you've heard this over and over that NOW the real work begins. It's so true! Believe it! I hope to see you all in ATL!
