Thank you for sharing your story. Recruitment is disappointing for a lot of PNMs and it's great to see you keep going on despite that. I hope that you have a happy ending, even though it may not be the one you were hoping for. Sometimes PNMs aren't able to see where they fit best and have to trust the process.I'm glad that your family seems to be very supportive--the process can be really hard.

On the bright side, it seems like you have several houses left that made you feel comfortable and like you made strong connections so I hope that's a good sign.

Honestly you guys, Im so passionate about it, I'm planning on joining junior Panhellenic...and running for an officer position. I have felt so welcome at so many chapters...and so unwelcome at others, that I want to commit my college years towards improving it and helping it thrive!

I figured right off the bat that Chocolate Cake was AEPhi. We're not all about drinking and partying, and I'm sorry you came away with that impression. When I was in my senior year, I was the only sister in my chapter (not UF) who was over 21 and had chosen to drink alcohol - and anyway, who needs to drink booze to have fun?

And I speak from experience as a Mom of a daughter who just graduated from UF in May and a DZ! She lived in their awesome house for 3 years and loved every minute of it! She has amazing sisters who will always be a part of her life and I met some great Moms as well! Love their house Mom too! Enjoy the journey cause it goes really fast!
