Great story so far! Good luck!
Thank you for sharing your story. Recruitment is disappointing for a lot of PNMs and it's great to see you keep going on despite that. I hope that you have a happy ending, even though it may not be the one you were hoping for. Sometimes PNMs aren't able to see where they fit best and have to trust the process.I'm glad that your family seems to be very supportive--the process can be really hard.
On the bright side, it seems like you have several houses left that made you feel comfortable and like you made strong connections so I hope that's a good sign. Wishing you luck and I'm especially excited to read the last posts. And thank you for updating so quickly! |
I am on pins and needles waiting to see where you end up! I like that you felt comfortable enough at any chapter to name them now.
Thanks for sharing your story so quickly! I can't wait to hear where you end up!
Loving your story! Can't wait to see how "sweet" you'll be!
I love this!
Thanks everyone! We're on our way to get our bids...
Crossing my fingers that you get your first choice. Great story, and thanks for posting so quickly!
I'm with clemsongirl--on pins and needles! Good luck!
While I really do hope you get your number one, I'm personally rooting for Alpha Chi!!
Sending you lots of good wishes that you will find a sisterhood that you are happy with.
I love this story. So honest!
Your recruitment story sounds VERY familiar to mine. Hope you are loving your house now that bids are open! Let us know where you end up!
Hoping you are enjoying your bid day and thank you for identifying your school and the sororities!
How are you a legacy? I missed that...sister? Gramma? Hope you are out celebrating with new chapter!
Wow...what a great story!!! Can't wait to hear how it ends. Hope you get what you want (even though I have an obvious slant hahaha)! Very excited for you!!

Honestly you guys, Im so passionate about it, I'm planning on joining junior Panhellenic...and running for an officer position. I have felt so welcome at so many chapters...and so unwelcome at others, that I want to commit my college years towards improving it and helping it thrive!
Congratulations! I am so glad you found a home you love so much!

I figured right off the bat that Chocolate Cake was AEPhi. We're not all about drinking and partying, and I'm sorry you came away with that impression. When I was in my senior year, I was the only sister in my chapter (not UF) who was over 21 and had chosen to drink alcohol - and anyway, who needs to drink booze to have fun? Enjoy your new member period! :D |
Congratulations on DZ! I hear that they have done so well at UF and the girls are wonderful. Go Gators!
Yippee!
Congratulations - I am so happy you got what you wanted and Delta Zeta is so lucky to have you! I really liked this whole story and the fact that we got to find out who was who at the end - AND that it moved so quickly and had an ending! Have a great new membership period!
Great story!! I'm so happy for you. I hope your mom has the opportunity to enjoy being the mother of a Delta Zeta. Have fun!
A new rose for Delta Zeta! Congratulations!
Congratulations!!!
Congrats to you and DZ!
DZLAM! Congratulations!! :)
Congratulations on finding your new home in DZ! I also love how you spoke about your passion for the Panhellenic community. That's really awesome. Best of luck in these next 4 years - I do hope you really are able to serve the Panhellenic community the way you are inspired to!
Thanks for a great story, and for keeping us updated! Lots of love to you! |
SECrushee, wishing you a big congrats on Delta Zeta!
I'm happy to hear that things worked out and that you found your happy ending and home within the Panhellenic community. DZ is lucky to have you and you are lucky to have them. Good luck on running for Junior Panhellenic--it's a great way to get involved! I hope you enjoy your time at UF and the lifetime of sisterhood that DZ offers! Thank you also for sharing your story with us. It was a great read. :) |
Congratulations SECRushee and Delta Zeta!!!

And I speak from experience as a Mom of a daughter who just graduated from UF in May and a DZ! She lived in their awesome house for 3 years and loved every minute of it! She has amazing sisters who will always be a part of her life and I met some great Moms as well! Love their house Mom too! Enjoy the journey cause it goes really fast!
