Just thought I'd share :)

I'm in my Italian Language Lab right now, and I just tried to look at that link...a warning came up, and it would not let me look at it. Somethin about a level 1 violence rating...I gess I will have to wait until I get home.

Lil_G 02-27-2002 05:14 PM

Informative. Missed hazing due to paintball guns, other than that, complete.

GatorBratAGD 03-06-2002 10:14 PM

That was so funny. Do you have any more squirrel sites like that.:D

greeklawgirl 03-06-2002 11:35 PM

Hee hee, Nina, I see you decided to share the wealth with everyone else? It is an awfully funny website.

SigkapAlumWSU 03-06-2002 11:48 PM

I got a kick out of this! Great site!

HeidiHo 03-07-2002 09:40 AM

I saw that site a long time ago, and one time I hit a squirrel with my car. I called my mom (who has also seen the site) all upset because I was a squirrel hazer. Every time I see one run into the road I think of this. :D

A squirrel hazed my sister once. She was 6 or 7 riding her bicycle, when suddenly a vicious squirrel jumped on her leg, knocking her off her bike. We've known about squirrel hazing ever since that day. Do not be fooled! Squirrels look cute, but they haze each other and little girls on bicycles! :p

Of course this doesn't apply to Skiouros the grey squirrel mascot of AGD. :)

SigkapAlumWSU 03-07-2002 07:26 PM

A friend of mine pointed something out to me after i shared this website with her. Squirrels aren't the only ones who do it. What about all those birds that try to fly into your windshield and stand on the road until the car is almost on top of them??? When will it stop?? :D

KSigkid 03-07-2002 10:31 PM

Now that's funny - someone put some serious time into thinking that site up.

I looked up that site. That was REALLY funny!! lol!

Not too long ago, I had to drive my husband to work. I pulled over and let him out, and while he was gathering his coat and bag, a squirrel came up to our car. My husband got his things and closed the car doors, and the squirrel got ready. I kid you not, he tensed up and got ready to run in front of the car. The very instant I put the car in gear, the squirrel shot out in front of the car! Somehow I knew the squirrel was suicidal, and didn't run him over... *whew*

Now if someone would do something about all the DEER around here, I'd be content......

TrojanGirl 03-08-2002 01:03 AM

Where I used to live in Louisiana we had suicidal bunny rabbits. THey would run UNDER your car on the road. I think maybe hazing is inherent to every creature!

Squirrles are the Nuts!:D

Used to eat Squirrels for food, then married one! To big to put in the pan to fry!

That is okay though, she was a red head nut! Have had problems with both ever since!:(

But the AGD Physco Squad has helped me to get by all of that now!:D

DeltAlum 01-21-2004 06:12 PM

Isn't this (1/21) something like national squirrel appreciation day or something? Seriously.

onetime 01-21-2004 06:19 PM

How does one appreciate a squirrel? :p

It is indeed Squirrel Appreciation Day today. Surpassed in my mind only by National Penguin Awareness Day on the 19th. Yes seriously.
That said, National Sea Monkey Day Feb 15th is one for the diary too.

Tom Earp 01-21-2004 06:22 PM

John B, Animal house, Holy Sh*t, Holy Sh*t, now we have a penguin day and squirrel Day! When is the Holiday for all of the Govt. Offices to close?

How ironic...about 10 years ago I was driving around on a spring day w/my two teenaged (then 14 & 13) daughters. In the course of a three-block span we had 4 squirrels dart in front of the car, just before I was about to drive over them. All escaped.

I told the kids that there was a gang called the Squirrels, and that zipping out in front of cars was part of their initiation rites. They believed me...I didn't tell them the truth until we got home that day.

Keep in mind that when I was a UG I told one of my brothers that you could tell how old a piranha is by cutting it in half & counting the rings, as one would w/a tree. I'm glad that he didn't actually try to see if that was true--

TTFN,
BF
