Hi GC Peeps

I'm all set for my c-section tomorrow morning at 7:30am EST. I've been on bed rest the last 6 weeks so I've been MIA for a minute. As soon as I'm able I'll come back and tell you what I had. Pray for me. I'm a little afraid of the spinal but can't what to see my precious darling. Hubby and I are so excited.

I am still about 5 months out, but anxious to know how all this is going to work...of course I am still working on a way to have this baby with no pain -- like I said...STILL working on it :D

EPIDERAL

I had the epideral and I had NO PAIN.:D For those who have seen me know I don't weight 100lbs wet and I had a 6lb 12 ounce baby with NO PAIN!!! The precaution warning sounds harsh but it is not that bad. A little shot in the back is not as bad as a sharp shooting, excruciating (sp) pain in the twizzard.

Leading Lady, are my long lost twin? ;) I can relate to every word that you posted with one exception. I had a shot of demeraol before the epidural. I am a big chicken.:) I also had an L & D nurse helping me. Two pushes and there he was!!!!

For the first few weeks, let the housework got to pot. GET AS MUCH REST AS YOU NEED!!! You deserve it. And...you'll need it. ;)

On 2/27/02 at 8:09am Christopher Jordan came into my life. He was 7 lbs 4.2 oz, 19.5 inches long. The spinal was fine. It was like a really bad sting and then everything was warm. 20 minutes later I had a baby. Hubby watched the doctor pull him out :eek: I was so proud of him.

Christopher is truly a blessing. I am so overwhelmed by the amount of love I have for him.

I'll check in again later.

I know how you feel toocute. I am 8 months right now and I am too ready to delivery this little one. I am due 4-15 but no one thinks I will go that long since I am already dilated 1 cm and the baby's head is in position. :D I am having a girl and her name will be Trinity Alexis. I didnt have any pain medication with my son 5 years ago,:eek: :confused: but trust me when I say I have learned my lesson. I am walking into that hospital with the back of my shirt up ready for the needle.

My baby turns a year old today! This has been some year and I can't believe how big my little man is. When I dress him in Jeans and a top he looks like a little boy...not the little baby he was just a few months ago.

At 8:09am I cried and squeezed him while wishing him a happy birthday. He just looked at me like I was crazy LOL.:D We're off to his daycare for a birthday party.

Congrats on the new arrival. Don't worry about the spinal. I have seen C-sections before. The spinal is not that bad and from the mother's face it was worth it when they held their baby.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes. My little prince is fast asleep. He had a wonderful day. I think he enjoyed his first taste of ice cream the best. He has his dad's sweet tooth :)

LadyGreek - I was born at 11:20am and my mom calls me at 11:20am every birthday! It's a wonderful tradition I hope to pass on to CJ.

I will be a mommy ON April 18th (well that is her expected date) I will be giving birth to my little angel Kendell Marie! I can't wait until she is here! I will be getting a well needed vaction from work to spend time with my sweety!

The terrible Two's are HERE!!!!!
 

Happy Second Birthday to my beautiful baby boy! Thank you Lord for blessing me with him for one more year.

CJ is having a pizza party at school for lunch and cupcakes and cheetos at snack time. Mr. toocute and I are arriving for the Chettos :D The big party is at Grandma's house tomorrow.
