:) Greetings to all Greekchat members. I'm a daily listener but first time caller to greekchat. I've finally become a big girl and decided to join the rankings of the Greekchat family. I've been reading the posts here for a little over a year and during this time, I have enjoyed many laughs as well as thought provoking conversations but through it all, I've learned heaps of knowledge thanks to all of you. I am non-greek, merely an aspirant but I've seen many "sister-friends" who were accepted and loved into the family, so hopefully I will be as well. I'm going to cut it short but please keep up the wonderful atmosphere here at Greekchat. Everyone seems very personable and friendly. I look forward to meeting you all. Have a great day!!:D

I also just became a member after browsing the boards for sometime! I found GC when I was going through rush last year and after a somewhat bad experience I declined the bid I was offered, but have many regrets that I haven't been able to be involved in Greek Life. :(

Can't wait to start posting! :D

Welcome to GC! What took you so long?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Why did I wait so long? hmm.. Well, since I am a non-Greek I was a little timid, but I come from a very strong Greek family and went through rush so I am still really interested in the system and like hearing about everyone's experiences, although it does make me wish I could go back and do rush all over again to change things, but you never know!

Thanks to all of you for the warm and hearty welcome. The reason I waited so long is so that I could get a feel for the board as well as have ample time to search and read so that I would avoid starting a topic that had already been beaten to mush.
