Did you see the NY GIants game? WHaaat? :D

WhiteRose1912 09-21-2015 03:11 PM

SO's a die-hard Cowboys fan and we live in Dallas now. I had special instructions for the groomer on Saturday.

Woof. All the Eagles fans we know are giving the SO shit about Romo, though. He's about to lose it.

Tulip86 09-21-2015 04:07 PM

Just watched the game now. It was on in the middle of the night last night.

How bout them Cowboys!

Only 3 more weeks and I'll get to watch the game in Dallas! No tickets, but at least I won't be halfway across the world.

IndianaSigKap 09-21-2015 04:58 PM

I am a nervous Cowboys fan: Weedin and no Dez. Keeping my fingers crossed. Jerry better be working the phones today to get a vet QB since we only carried two.

naraht 09-21-2015 05:31 PM

And the Redskins don't play the Cowboys until December!

NYG: Up by double digits in the fourth quarter twice.

Lost twice.

UnbELIevable. Oh wait ... I take that back. Sigh. It's gonna be a long season.

Dixie_Amazon 09-22-2015 09:33 AM

I don't even want to talk about the Saints. {{{sigh}}}

NinjaPoodle 12-14-2015 07:45 PM

Bueller? Bueller?

moe.ron 12-14-2015 11:45 PM

As a hard core Giants fan, I would like to say:

You stink

naraht 12-15-2015 05:37 PM

Well, the NFC East... A Three way tie at 6-7, but right now the Skins are in front, with both the Skins and the Eagles controlling their own destiny (since the Skins and the Giants play the Eagles). And Dallas theoretically isn't out of it. (If they win out and no other team win two games then they'll win the division. Basically Dal beats Was who beats Phi who beats NYG and then everyone other than Dal loses the games outside the Division)

Winning the NFC East this year is like being King Shit of Turd Mountain. And I say this as an Eagles fan!

Cheerio 12-16-2015 07:48 PM

Before I die, I want to watch a Buffalo Bills vs Minnesota Vikings Super Bowl.

The battle of the Super Bowl multiple non-winners!

Yes, it's either those two or Detroit vs Cleveland (don't care for Texans or Jaguars) which might be too localized geographically to attract a nationwide audience.

Too bad Chicago and Green Bay are both NFC; those teams playing might make a fun Super Bowl.

naraht 12-24-2015 10:49 PM

From a fanbase perspective, what would be the *worst* Superbowl for the NFL? Jacksonville vs. Atlanta?

ChioLu 12-25-2015 01:49 PM

I'm sure CBS is hoping for a Super Bowl match-up of an unbeaten Carolina Panthers vs. the New England Patriots (w/a still-mad Tom "Deflate-gate" Brady).
And, Tom's good friend, Donald Trump, sitting in a suite at Levi's Stadium (slow dancing to Coldplay at halftime).
[You're welcome for that mental picture on Christmas Day!]

cheerfulgreek 12-28-2015 09:49 PM

Woohoo! We're going to be in the playoffs. :)

NinjaPoodle 01-04-2016 02:33 PM

SF 49ers--WTF?

naraht 01-05-2016 12:54 AM

Washington finished with 4 straight wins for 9-7 and probably got its best draw among the wildcard teams. Would not have picked anyone in the NFC east to be in this position at the end of November...

ChioLu 01-13-2016 06:07 PM

We had the 1st LA Ram at the NFL Network today.

Bama's Jarran Reed gave a shot out to Omega Psi Phi on the red carpet of the 2016 NFL Draft plus wears an omega on his lapel! He told Michael Irvin that he was representing his Omega brothers by the choice of his outfit. (This is where everyone says "ahhhh") http://www.nfl.com/photos/0ap3000000...p3000000656846

Coincidentally, I recognized the Omega Psi Phi emblem worn by two men as they left an establishment near my home today. Wonder if they wore their letters because they watched yesterday's festivities?
